Movie Ebony Maw was a fun sneering villain so I plan to get him and Ronin looks cool so I might get him too. Otherwise Herc is the only one of interest but with so many other figures I know I want more I'm likely to skip on him.

Rock Python isn’t in this wave. With that in mind, I’ve got to agree. I’m going to pass on this as well. At least this gives me more to spend on the 80th Anniversary Collection.

I know I'm in the minority here...but Legends waves have been super weak this year.

I'll probably pick up TBolts Zemo and maybe that Cap depending on the headsculpt...but otherwise...Meh.

Armored Thanos huh? Not after that stunt you pulled with the 10th anniversary wave Hasbro...

I can easily see that Thanos wave sitting on shelves next to Wasp, Gwenpool, Ms Marvel and the bastard three from the first Deadpool wave (Domino, X-23, and Paladin...) that are clogging pegs at my local stores right now.

I think part of the problem is, they’ve blown through a lot of the A or even B list characters. As excited as I am about the 80th Anniversary figures, they’ve got the definitive Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man out by the end of the year. If even one of those were in this wave, I think we’d be a lot less apathetic.

When Legends waves start to get weak, this is when I switch my collecting strategy and save my money and get some of those ‘grails’ of my list, for example, I brought one figure, two if you count the BAF, from the Captain Marvel wave, which is weak as a whole IMO, than I use that money that I would have purchased a whole wave with to get my Cyclops and Phoenix 2 pack, and staying within my budget for the most part!

I'm pretty confident that people will be picking up Herc whether they belive so, or not. It's a brand new sculpt with high levels of standout detail and an exceptionally comic accurate head (recent Abbnett Hercules). Despite being a bit diminutive in comparison to the other previous scale mistakes (Herc also skips leg-day, hardcore) - Wrecking Crew, various armored Thors, and Odin (he's also too small) - I know from having it in hand that most, if not all, of those things will be forgivable by a very large swath of collectors. I'll be adding Citizen V (been waiting far too long for this Zemo) regardless of its glorified kit-bash status - What do people really believe Mystique to be? There's not much to distinguish that fig from being a tired rehash other than the momentary blindness that fandom and sheer 'want' inspires. Additionally, people will be picking up that Living Laser once they make the connection that he's a serious Iron Man enemy and it dawns on them that we've received very few comic representatives of Tony's rogues' gallery - Hasbro: Iron Monger, Dreadknight, Ghost, Madame Masque, and Blizzard (kinda sorta, he was sent by Hammer along with Beetle and Black Lash to free Force, who had been co-opted from quasi-villain to reformed whatever by Tony...I suppose you could throw the Beetle in also but most will rightfully associate him with Pete). Also, Laser's translucent, the big kids seem to like that. And then there's good old Kyle, who satisfies both Squadron and Defenders fans inspite of his 'asleep at the wheel' lazy 'corporate-kit bash' status. All of this and the compulsion for collectors to build yet one more Thanos adds up to..."yeah, most collectors will be buying this shit"...don't fool yourselves!

The wave is....okay.

Ebony Maw, Ronin and Hercules are must haves. I also think they're going to be the hardest figures to find from this wave.

The other comic characters are cool, but I wouldn't say I wanted any of them over some other Avengers-related characters. Classic War Machine and/or Classic Falcon could have been some high-profile characters to put this wave over the top. We STILL need a good classic Doctor Strange and this would be a good place to put him.

Quantum Realm Captain America is just lame. Fortunately, I think he heard he doesn't come with a BAF piece, which is good, because he's also the only one I 100% want to skip. Definitely down for Armored Thanos BAF though.

Yeah, thinking about it some more I will probably get Hercules. I actually haven't read any comics with him in it, but it is a nice figure and I'm interested in Greek mythology too.

Lol another convert.

Seriously though, many people do the same thing and kneejerk reactions to early/grainy photos are common. I stated that I'd be army building Sentries from the reveal, while most people were of the opinion that it was a pass. Lo and behold, I watched people who said they'd pass do a 180 and praise the BAF, with some even army building...go figure - yuk, yuk - chortle, chortle - I be punny. I've read it so often that I don't even pay much attention anymore, I just shake my head as I see people recant their own shit. I used to purposely take engaging photos of figs people claimed were "trash" (Machine Man, Polaris, etc) mostly for kicks, but also to see people betray their own words. We live in a 'rush to judgement' world despite the consistent lessons offered by a 'wait and see' attitude...but whatevs, there are far more important inconsistencies and hypocrisies now adays. Collect, or don't collect, it's your prerogative. I don't collect things because others do and tastes outside of my own have zero bearing on what I buy...

And good for you! My attitude with peg-warmers that I personally enjoy (Paladin...) is “more for me.” I’m still not super sold on the Kree Sentry, but I’m glad other people like it. If I’m not a fan of this wave and you are, bully for you! However, you may have convinced me to pick up a Hercules...

I got a spot saved for Hercules- he's an Avengers Must-Have... but that probably will be the end of them on display unless they make a bigger Detolf! It's just getting too crowded with "Must-Haves!"

A while back someone showed a Kitbash of Typhoid Mary. Adding parts to make her pretty Awesome. Just wanted the recipe and pics again.

Pretty sure that was Triv, Ken...a simple foot swap between Mary and punk Storm made an incredible difference.

It's a longshot, but could Firestar be the 2nd female figure in the X-force wave? There were a couple of NW/X-force crossovers and Firestar started as one of the Hellions

There's a strong chance I'm not going to want the BAF Thanos, perennial Super Bowl champ (aka Tim - Pats devotee ). I'm sure we can work something out. Remind me when the wave rolls out...

I made a super easy very minor change to Mary (gave her the hair from the old ToyBiz Vault figure and hands from DC Constantine... nothing earth shaking- but I like her-
