I was able to snag a Gambit and Jubilee off Hasbro Pulse this morning. Beast is on his way from Amazon. The rest of the wave is sitting in my Amazon preorder list. I can wait for them. I just hope Amazon doesn't kill the preorder on me. In the meantime, if I see this wave in stores, I'll grab it. As much as I want the other characters in the wave, my goal was to complete as much of the 90's show cast as possible. I'm sitting here hoping that the vintage wave Storm that is rumored will be the Jim Lee 90's look. I'll take any color, but silver would be my top pick.

I hear you there. I was debating using her for a custom, but since she's on that teen body, I can't think of much to use it on. I bet that thing has now dropped in price pretty hard. For a while there, you could have sole her for around $100.

This is why I'm glad our local guy sells case preorders. Might not get them as early as everyone else, but we haven't had to worry about an X-Wave past Juggernaut. I love the hunt, but there's some things where I'd rather avoid the stress.

Only 2 pairs of glasses total. Jubilee comes with 1 head with glasses on and 1 head with the bubblegum bubble and separate glasses to put on that head.

I've EARNED the title: DarkToyLord.
I've hunted here ..there..near..far..alone..with wifey, with friends, at cons, out of state, along the routes of long road trips.
It was different when stores carried lots of items, and POTENTIAL items.. because I might have always just come across something new or unexpected. When the lines you love have either shitty distribution (Star Wars Black Series i HATE YOU) or no retail presence at all.. it takes the wind out of your sales. I think of the things i COULD have been doing instead of wasting time on fruitless adventures...


SIDE NOTE: i just stopped in a walgreens on my way to work and found Blink and Jubilee.. OF COURSE after i just ordered them from HasbroPulse...lol....figures..

I’m late to the collecting game, but I’ve done all of the above when on the hunt. Beating scalpers is becoming tougher and tougher. Distribution at retail is worse than its ever been in the 4-5 years since I started. I’m lucky that I do good business with one of the local comic shops, and he’s a damn good dude. The thrill of the hunt is still there, like the feeling we all had as kids when we hit the toy aisle with money burning a hole in our pockets. Unfortunately the gas, wasted time, and frustration isn’t real worth it when you’re an adult with bills.


....all that said, I’m out to hunt Walgreens for a green Ironman! Wish me luck.

So i went from a SHITTY bunch of days with figs... to finding 7 and purchising 8 Legends figs in less than 24 hours.
i'm not so upset now..heh

PLUS on 6 of the figs i was able to make use of Walgreens buy one get one half off deal.
I contacted HasbroPulse to cancel my order i made this morning.
I also cancelled my Dorkside order cause I haven't heard anything about my figs from them so....meh..

Maybe it’s a running change. My Jubilee came from a sealed case and she only had 2 pairs.
