I have a few Legends Captain America's missing their shields....anyone know of any casts that are being sold?

Over the years I used some parts here and there and lost some. Looking back, kind of wish I did not destroy my Face-Off Caps....: (

Heads up, I went to TRU, and at least in-store they will NOT price match online and competitor physical ads for the next 5-7 days.

So Mike Deodato posted some Guardians on his Instagram earlier, he's doing some toy packaging, So I'm assuming he's doing that promised guardians box set brought up at Sdcc.

They're the DA guardians from the 2008 series. Exciting!

Cap looks stellar...this three pack cap is the worst cap i ever seen, sure to the poor qc, but your custom looks incredible.

May i ask what magnets and sizes used for the feet?

Nice find! Love his art. I hope Gamora comes with an additional head without the hood.

The magnets are a great idea, but washers? There's gotta be a cleaner alternative.

They're cheap in bulk and work fine for what my intentions were. Of course there are other options, but nothing I felt like paying more for. This is just the one I was cool with using myself.

The washers are a good idea...I am ashamed I didn't think of it. I wanted to buy some magnets for doing magnetic joints, but good use for them as a stand. I think the washers are very sleek. and eye catching.

I always look for inventive ways to display and just do things with....thanks again for the input and link.

BTW, the cap, is their a particular brand of apoxie/epoxie/epoxy you use? Very smooth textured outcome, I assume you sanded also.

Here are a few photos of some of the figures and customs in my collection.

X-Men TAS Jean Grey, the first custom figure I ever did.

My Avengers with repainted Scarlet Witch and modified Black Widow. I repainted Caps shield too.

My new Black Widow
Repainted the body with metallic black so her costume would look shiny and added a Moonstone head.

The X-Men

Old photo for fun

Really awesome X Men pictures! The customs and repaints are really well done and Cyclops is the highlight for me. Jubilee is great too. And Rogue! No clown face! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you jmurray90720! I tried really hard on Cyclops so that means a lot! Working on Cyclops I learned yellow paint is horrible! Jubilee was a lot of fun and she rounds out the 90's cast well. Rogue was a labor of love, I wanted to see if I could make the original scary face prettier. I tweaked the face with milliput, made the lips smaller and painted them plumper and painted the eyes too. She looks less like a childhood nightmare now!

No sculpting done on this one... upper torso and shoulder joints are DCUC figure parts merged onto the Legends Cap ab joint. The DC shoulder balls need to be modded to accept the Legends Cap arms though. Very easy swap out; I'm in the middle of retrofitting all my customs done on this specific Legends body with this same mod now.

Need some help from all the veteran ML collectors. I have the Epic Heroes Punisher and while I love the Headsculpt I hate the body. Any suggestions on which other ML Punisher would be the quintessential Punisher body to maybe headswap with? Thanks for any help.

I have always liked the old Toy Biz series 4 Punisher (The one that came with the War Zone comic). It reminds me that the Punisher was built like a brick house, Romita style. If you are looking for a slimmer version you might check out the Movie Punisher from Toy Biz series 6, Based on Thomas Jane. He came with a cloth coat too but he is in short sleeves since that is how he was in the movie.

Thanks Phantomcrow. I'm leaning towards the Jane version since I've always liked a grittier Castle and the white gloves and boots really don't say gritty. You know? I'm not a fan of the Jane head but I'm planning on trying to headswap anyway. I just HATE the lack of poseability of the Epic Heroes one (same with Red Skull) and want a more poseable Punisher.

Finally finished my custom Enchantress. Should be a decent placeholder til they get around to giving us an official one (snicker, snicker). Also finally broke down and got some Tamashi stands.

^Nice custom! I want an Enchantress, too. Hopefully she'll be released well ahead of Thor 3. Can't wait that long!
