Thats about what I felt. I felt it ranked right up there with x3....sans the talented actors. ( save for fassbender who should be kept as magneto...just grey his hair up a bit and make it a bit longer for disneys xfilms )

How does HasbroPulse not have it's OWN product in stock first.
I placed an order with DS just now.. if they ship within a day or two. i'll just cancel my other prees..

anybody see the X-men movie.. i'm curious as to what the general consensus is on it..

Just saw the X-men movie...it was not that bad...just not great. The acting was over the top and ALOT was not answered or addressed that could have been. The characters such as Nightcrawler were lackluster. It harkened back to X3 ALOT! It was a bit of a train wreck at times but good fight scenes. I'd give it a shot if you are an X-men fan though don't expect too much.

I saw the movie last night. Definitely agree with Starlord, not bad but also not great. The third act of the movie is the best. Simon Kinberg, who wrote and directed Dark Phoenix, was also the writer of X-Men 3 which is why the movies feel so similar. Overall, for a movie that was supposed to come out last summer and was rumored to be absolutely horrible, it turned out better than expected imo.

nah that movie was super bad lol when mystique who atleast in the comic before marvel started sjw writing wasnt an x-men says the team name should be called x-women due to the women of the team is always saying the team (even tho the scene before nightcrawler and quicksilver did all the leg work) was so cringe, i mean its like jennifer lawrence was trying to break the forth wall to imply something, when the only reason the female members of the team have to be so OP in pretty much anything is simple, a guy who has the ability to charge cards and throws them on crap and explodes is awesome to guys and accepted but for a woman that power is meh look at jubilee basically same powers shes im pretty sure is nobodies favorite in even the basic members of the team. anyways end of rant its a dumb movie lets hope disney doesnt bring in SJW crap with their take on it.

A couple of quick observations, xjuza:

  • since the late seventies, the most powerful members of the X-men have routinely been women; Jean, Storm, and Rogue (this isn't a new phenomenon).

  • you do realize that the "men" in X-men doesn't literally translate to 'all-Male' any more than the "man" in mankind does for humanity, right???

  • contrary to what you may believe, women can be/are powerful- see: Angela Merkel.

  • Rebecca Romijn and the resulting excitement over her performance, regardless of the superficial nature behind it, was likely the real impetus behind Mystique being recast into a larger role, not the comics - news flash, much of the movie fanbase couldn't care any less about the books.

  • this schtick of yours, the misdirected anger at women and liberals, it's unhealthy for you - harboring all that pent up malice for people that aren't even thinking about you may lead to health maladies like cancer (just a heads up).

  • finally, the word-salad you just graced us with is indecipherable to most people without a background in mental health - but don't worry, I used to work in the field many moons ago, so I got you!

Edit: unboxing my endgame wave now, if anyone is in the market for Rufalo-Hulk...and maybe Shuri lol...hit me up.

Holy run on sentence. I'm trying to parse out what you're saying but having trouble. I think you're saying you dind't like it, and mostly because of the focus on the powerful women? You're entitled to your opinion of course, I'm just actually trying to figure out your post.

No spoilers please to all. I had really wanted to get out to see this. I missed seeing Endgame due to being sick sick sick but I'll be damned if I miss this one too, I'm hoping I can make it next weekend provided I'm still stable as I have been the last few days.

i have no problem with female characters being stronger , i do have a problem with when its breaking the forth wall to tell it, and i never once thought x-men meant men only , i figured it was a play on words for humans with the x gene seeing how they have the X gene it would make sense to be called x-men vs mutant humans. these edgy writers have a huge problem with thinking the audience are just plain retarded, what was it first class that they tried to blow peoples minds by saying its prof x team so it should be called X-men due to his name being Xavier, while on batman v superman the link they thought should blow everyones mind was martha being bother their moms names. and btw my point also with the female characters being OP is cause they have to be to get a fan base, while the male counterparts not so much.

anyways back to the marvel legends , seen that iceman pic, the face of it looks well bad, how come they didnt try to make it look more like the box art, i mean its like they forgot that fox doesnt own x-men anymore, and is trying to bury the character, first they made him gay then every figure since is bad, with gummy plastic now a idk long ass forhead? and not even the same color as the gummy release so u cant switch heads due to that one being so bad and those flipper feet.

I think the disdain for Jubilee is less about her powers and more about her voice actress in the cartoon series being f***ing annoying. Jean was pretty lame in the cartoon as well. Both of them were portrayed as damsels in distress where as Rogue and Storm were fighters, and they could fly. If they’re going to make a Captain Marvel 2 I think it would be a great time to introduce Mystique, Rogue and Destiny so that Rogue can hurry up and steal her powers so she can be the power house bruiser that we all love. Fox movie Rogue SUCKED.

Also a random of fantasy casting, I think Emma Roberts would make an excellent Emma Frost. She’s got that snobby bitch thing down pat.

Uh, toys, yeah right, um......I just ordered a Silver Sable loose from EBay to make Lilandra. I was going to build Kingpin (Shadow King) but I have no interest in any other figure in that wave. Not worth it.

Just a heads up to anyone wanting to see Spiderman FFH on opening day and would like to save a little money. AMC Stubs members get $5 Ticket Tuesdays as part of their free membership. Since Spiderman FFH opens on a Tuesday, your ticket will only cost $5 plus taxes (and the convenience fee if you purchase online).

one can dream but i doubt that will happen captain marvel will have plot armor and im sure her reboot conflicts with rogues origins so they wont happen rogue will either have those abilities from the start or not at all, tho actually i can see them saying that event did happen in another universe, seems like alternate universes is a way to fix screwed up lore by lazy writers.

Quick assessment on Bill: slightly taller than Loki and only as tall as Herc if you don't count the man bun. And, as I suspected, smaller biceps than Herc (and Omega Red). It all now hinges on the upcoming Thor, but I'm almost certain of the end result...*sigh*

Does anyone know if the Spider-man classics scorpion head can come off? When removed is it on a ball joint or a peg?

i think youll need to heat it up alot to pop it off, but if the peg breaks inside its still good cause you will for sure need to dremel out the hole.

You have to soak it in hot water as its not ball jointed.

The Marvel Legends Binary figure is available to order on Walmart.com. They've raised the price to $24.99 though.

Smart play, but I don't even display and it still bugs me. Even if Thor ends up as large, or slightly larger, I'm still glad for a new Bill. I just wish they could've nailed it with this one. My Bill's torso sucks right now, and I'm not liking the transition to ball-joints for the males so far. I'll give it a heat treatment and see if that helps.

Imo War Machine was the lowkey hit of the wave and might have surpassed Herc as my fave fig. That said, there are some proportional probs. The arms are too long from hand to center mass/neck imo.

Loki's teeth are unintentionally hilarious. I was right about the overbite (underbite - jacked up teeth), but it's not as pronounced as I thought and it seems to be more an issue of it just looking 'off.' He looks like a man who has forgotten how to smile, or is trying to stifle a laugh while pinching a loaf. Ultimately, he's cooler than I thought he'd be.

Ruffalo-Hulk is very impressive, but I have no use for it.
