Actually the last time I checked the High Evolutionary is almost totally responsible for their powers now, although it is still present that Wanda is innately connected to chaos magic due to her proximity to Mount Wundagore at birth. Pietro's powers are now strictly the result of Herbert's tampering.

I do vaguely remember something like that.
EDIT: I remembered; Bova tried to give the twins to Robert Frank, but he dosen't take them because he's distraught over his wife's death. You and the damn Whizzer, dude...SMH you actually manage to work him in naturally! Lol However, this whole jaunt has served as a device for me to make a request of Hasbro - A Modred fig would be very cool! Also, in the vein of magic users, comic Baron Mordo. Yes they ship to U.S. Go to Marvel Legends UK. Then PM Them under "Group By" in the Top right side underneath the Banner(Marvel Legends UK).

My set just got dropped off. Just from looking at them, Wanda is the winner of the three, though Quicksilver is close. Magneto looks okay. Better than the Jubilee wave but not perfect. I'll break them down a bit later.

In that pic Magneto's helmet looks normal... not fat like in the promo pics. Can't wait to try and stick the Apocalypse wave unmasked head on that body.

I don't care what they say now..the revelation that Magneto was their father was and always will be fact to me. I loved the way they slowly revealed it in the Avengers and the X-men.

So....if you preordered the Amazon 3 pack way back in February, you're still having to wait for your orders to be filled, but if you ordered it in the last day or two it's shipping out within a day or two? That's absolutely baffling. I'm going to wonder what happens when/if Amazon runs out of stock and can't fulfill all their preorders because the new orders took that stock?
Not saying you all shouldn't do it, I don't blame you one bit for jumping on it. It's just mindboggling Amazon's system would work that way. Edit: I in fact, just jumped on it as well. Depending on which order ships first, the new order or preorder, I'll cancel the other one. Or if I can't do that, I'll have a second one I can sell at cost + shipping here. |

I will say all 3 figures are fantastic, easily the best representations for every one of them.
Wanda might legit be the most beautiful female Legend Hasbro has ever put out. Mayshelf seriously killed it with that likeness. The metallic sheen on her is going to work very nicely with that new Vision we got last year. Quicksilver has some wonderful color contrast going. His gloves and boots are a pearlescent white that work wonderfully with the blue they've chosen. I've seen people less thrilled about the head sculpt, but for me, it works. The hair could be a little bit more accurate but it's still leaps and bounds above Hasbro's first attempt. I also never realized how easy it is to balance out the 2099 buck. I can hit a running pose pretty effortlessly on this thing. Magneto is definitely the man of the hour and for me, he doesn't disappoint. Cape can be frustrating when it comes to posing (might flirt with the idea of getting a cloth cape for him) but everything else is superb. Good on Hasbro for listening to the criticism and changing his ankle joints to purple because I think for a lot of people, that was their biggest gripe with the figure. The gritted teeth head is awesome and it's probably how my Magneto will be displayed. And between this and the Apocalypse wave figure, we have tons of parts we can use with this figure to create the ultimate Magneto figure. Like I said before, Hasbro's done a terrific job of knocking out some classic villains the past few years and I hope they continue the trend. I think most people will agree the next update we need as far as major Marvel baddies is Dr. Doom, which I wholeheartedly believe might be revealed at SDCC for a 2020 release. |

I just canceled that Hammer order as they miss Titled their description. It s for 1/6 scale figures not 1/12.

Yeah, but that retcon was starting to gain steam with writers (and Marvel) as far back as '99/'00. At least that's a retcon that makes sense from a storytelling perspective, and not a marketing perspective like the Wanda/Pietro fiasco

I've voiced my desire for a figure of Herb in the past and nothing has changed since then. There are many classic villains I'm hoping Hasbro gets to but chief among them are High Evolutionary, Kang, Ultron-5, classic Zemo, Mephisto, and of course Dr Doom.
