With lots of frustration.

Basically I first took shots with the Blink legs in the portal, then I took another shot with Blink coming out above Skullbuster. I took both pictures into Sony Vegas (my video editing program), overlayed them, and then moved the starting point of the Blink above Skullbuster image.

It did take me over an hour of playing around to get everything right so they would match up because even with a tripod to keep the camera in place, things can get tricky with only 2 hands.

Looks awesome Dr. Kain. Whenever...if ever...I get around to having room to display, I bought two blinks for the sole purpose of setting up scenes like this. I'll purposely break one so I can have her "port".

I doubt you'll really need to break her since you can heat her up and pull her apart at the ball that connects her upper and lower torso together.

Anyway, my replacement 3 pack came and thank the gods no issues Quicksilver's paint job still isn't perfect, but way better than what it was on the other one and Magneto is nearly flawless. Plus, the wrist peg was not frozen this time, so it didn't break. YAY!

Awesome pics DK, I didn’t know the new magneto had a removable helmet! Has anyone else been getting more... flawed figures than usual? I’ve always run into the occasional “ stiff joint” or paint blemish, but lately I’ve got a blink with a huge pink splotch on her loin cloth, my worthy caps Star is off by a mile, weapon x’s shoulder was fused so bad I couldn’t get to move with pliers and boiling after it broke off! I saw a BP wave 2 CW panther with his right arm loose in he package, And there’s a lot of ankles and wrists I’m afraid to move because they’re paint welded. Legends are getting better every wave IMO, but the QC is getting sketchy.

It's not. I yanked the helmet off one of the heads of the one I'm sending back to Amazon to use in the picture. They're going to have to trash it anyway due to the broken wrist peg, so I might as well make use of it before then.

I'm sending mine back in hopes of getting a Quicksilver without a stuck calf swivel

As beautiful as Scarlet Witch’s head came out, I don’t think it fits in with the aesthetic of the rest of the female Legends. I’ll wait until it’s in my hands to reserve final judgement but I am probably going to sell her off to recoup some of the cost (I only really wanted magneto).

Somewhat Legends related, but not really...

I understand the need to street date movie products...hence why the new Legends as of late have been street dated...but why the hell are regular toys getting street dates now?

I was just at Target when I ran into the new Transformers Siege Springer, and when I tried to pick him up, he was "sieged" from me at the register...where the employee told me he couldn't be sold until July 28th...over a month from now. I told them of course they could sell him...he was on the shelf and is 29.99...to which they said..."Nope....sorry. Can't do it till July...that must be when the movie comes out."

Are you fucking kidding me? A street date for a new wave of figures from a preexisting line that has no movie or TV support...so therefore...no risk of spoilers?

What the ever loving f*** Hasbro?...

There went my wife's birthday present two weeks from now. On to plan B I guess...

As I understand it, your plan A for your wife's birthday present was to wander into a Target and hope you ran into something that hasn't even really been released yet?
I can only wonder at the strategic and fully thought out masterpiece that is plan B.

That’s how Target is now. I understand street dates but it comes to a point where it’s on them if they put it on the store shelf/floor I think it probably should be sold to the customer no matter what the street date is. Which makes it worse is they way they handle it. Instead of saying “I’m sorry sir we can’t sell this to you do to a restricted street date it shouldn’t been on the floor in the first place” they just walk up snatch the shit outta your hands and barely give you a reason why. At least that’s how my past experiences with street dated toys are. They’ve even made it like it was my fault haha. Saying “where did you get this from” and when I say it was on the shelf I get a “Hmm sure” response ha.

Part of a plan yes, and a series of gifts leading up to a final reveal. Springer was something that was reserved quite a while ago in hopes it would release in time for birthday. I have a list of things picked out as fallbacks (she collects as well) so it's not a big overhaul. Just would have been nice to have Springer...since there is a story involving Springer and our dating phase that I won't share here.

Anyways...back to Legends.

I'm actually surprised how well Gamestop's store checker works. Was able to pick up Rescue and Union Jack yesterday using it. Unless something is on preorder, it has resulted in success roughly 90 percent of the time.

That just leaves Beta Ray Bill left to finish the Professor...

Dam!!! I really wish I still had all my Wild Cats figures!!!

It would be awesome to get those rebooted in marvel legends form, along with Gen 13, and Cyberforce.

I got my first set of risers today, but I'm a little disappointed in them. I'm not sure what I expected, but the sticker residue from the crap they put on the risers won't come off fully. Fortunately, it won't matter unless you look at them close up, but still annoying. Anyway, they do look pretty nice, but obviously I now need to get more.

Got my "BROTHERHOOD" pack today. Wow...just wow. My only complaint is Quicksilvers hair color choice. It's too grey. He's already at the paint table! Now we need toad and Mastermind.
