Not to mention, she's now taken control of the Hellfire Club as the Lord Imperial/Black King, so it's still fitting.

Eh, we know Hasbro will release a proper Classic Emma Frost. They love to double dip on popular characters. Punk Storm when they know everyone wanted Jim Lee Storm...Secret Empire Magneto when everyone wanted a classic red and purple one....Cable, Iceman...the list goes on and on.
I get a strong hunch that we'll see Classic Dr. Doom at SDCC and considering the rumor is more X-Men stuff for Q1 of 2020, I wouldn't be surprised to see Emma revealed either. In fact, I kinda hope we get a Brotherhood wave... |

Anyway, I tried reading that run of X-Men and it was dogshit. The artwork look like some two year old took his shit filled diaper and decided to finger paint X-Men characters and the story wasn't much better. I also hated the white costume on Magneto and he now works with Shield, wtf? Actually yes, yes I would. Toei has been making rainbow colored spandex work since 1983, there is no reason Marvel and Fox couldn't have made it work in 2000.

Not poo'poo'ing, I'd love a complete Brotherhood line-up, but are there enough recognizable members left to fill spots for an entirely Brotherhood themed wave? Outside of Avalanche, Pyro, and the Blob, most of them have been remade. While fans would flip, I can't really see Destiny getting made...although that extra head with Emma did make me wonder who they could deliver with a close enough costume to allow for a kit-bash and Irene fits that bill. Maybe they could splice together a Brotherhood/Hellfire Club wave. We've only been waiting a decade+ for the Hellfire Club goons since Toy Biz teased them for wave 13 ("Henchmen series"), which ended up becoming the Onslaught wave.

Well Emma look,s great, but there goes my dream of an easy way to get Selene. Not that it was rumored, as I said before until we saw packaged pictures I could pretend it was happening
I'm trying to envision the longer haired Emma with black hair...it might work. I know Selene's hair was straight not curly though. Maybe a Hela head without the headdress will work. Anyways I'm going to buy two of them when they come out. @TBM: Destiny I think may have a chance to get made, but not on the same level as Avalanche, Pyro and maybe the Blob. I'd really flip if they gave us PHantazia, but to be honest she's not even on my radar at all the liklihood is so low. |

EDIT
Yeah, Nash, I'm not saying it's impossible. I would just be very surprised if Destiny were made. As for Phantazia, I didn't even know who that was until I Wiki'd - Yeah, those were the dark days for Marvel; foil covers and investment bankers buying books not because there was interest, but because they thought they were making wise investments. I took that decade off with the exception of Surfer and a couple of Epic titles. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 06-28-2019 at 02:22 PM.. Reason: Jokes are funny until...they are not. Can we get an update to the Iron Man Modular armor? Please?
MarvelLegends.Net - Marvel Legends Face Off Series 2 Modular Iron Man ![]() I got sick of waiting so I made my own. My favorite armor also. (not my best sculpt work considering I made a Universe scale custom once before also, but I feel like I nailed the helmet and I was in a hurry lol) |

Found Scorpion, Spider-Woman from Denver and Movie Mysterio at Walmart. They also had a re-stock of Avengers Infinity War for anyone looking for them.

Ooo... that extra Emma Frost head has red lipstick and different eyebrows it looks like. I wonder if it is gonna be like Onslaught wave Udon Taskmaster coming with an extra skull head and then later on we get the real classic Taskmater with the skull head. I'm thinking we get a white outfit Emma Frost later on, but it won't be for the classic White Queen look, so they are just giving us the alternate head with this version.

*I left Toad out on purpose...lol Throw in Rogue in her classic outfit, a green Quicksilver repaint with a new head for the people unhappy with the one we got...of course they have to throw in the obligatory Wolverine figure so I'd suggest "technically" Wolverine with an updated Daken to satisfy that role. Then take your pick of a few other Brotherhood characters with Blob as the BAF to round out the wave. I'd even throw in Emma Frost as well. This doesn't really fit the mold of most Hasbro waves since they usually tend to make sure there's more heroes than villains, but the FFH wave just got away with it by having 3 heroes and 5 villains, so I think X-Men can get away with it. Also, a collector in Mexico managed to get both the X-Force wave and X-Men Vintage Wave. If there's anything I want to drop early, it's those two sets.... |

Which version of Rogue though? The short hair one? The one where it looked like she had cat ears? The big old mohawk?

Off topic: That Siege Springer is an awesome toy. I don't think you'll be disappointed Triv. Siege is a great line. Jetfire will be out in just a few days. Woohoo.
On topic: Unfortunately, Scorpion is disappointing just as I feared he would be. I don't have the ToyBiz one so I had to buy him one but the Hasbro version is definitely undersized to me. The choice of face paint is also irksome. And just as others said, it's odd given the package art shows the open mask version and the head sculpt has lines for the edge of the mask. The tail is cool but affects his balance and poses so I'll have to explore that more when I set him up with the other villains. The new diaphragm joint is great for side to side motion but definitely hinders arching articulation. If you wanted to arch him backwards too far you can see the hole between the abdomen and chest. Plus I feel like poses, or at least certain angles, will look awkward with the chest articulating but the abdomen not lining up very naturally. Also, is Scorpion supposed to have hip articulation? It looks like the abdomen and pelvis are one piece. Mine will not budge and I wanted to see if that's the case for others. |

Eh, they could always be a little creative with it lol

Also, a collector in Mexico managed to get both the X-Force wave and X-Men Vintage Wave. If there's anything I want to drop early, it's those two sets.... I could absolutely use a Brotherhood Rogue, but then Destiny becomes a 'must have' to finish that particular team. I'm down with an new Daken; if Magneto can have a family pack with characters that aren't even his children anymore, I suppose Wolverine's and his cubs could/should get some love as well ( and while they're at it, Hasbro could deliver Rachel and X-Man along with a whole slew of other interesting family packs). While I quickly noticed from early in-hand photos that Quicksilver bore an uncanny resemblance to the love child of Matt Damon and Channing Tatum and not the angular faced curmudgeon that we've become accustom to with Bronze Age-forward Pietro, the face isn't a complete deal-breaker. That said, I'll take a redone head for the impetuous and petulant speedster. That's very good news regarding the Vintage wave sightings in Mexico...now if only Dorkside would notify me about my Hulk Wolverine 2Pack....which brings to mind the fact that I'm unaware of whether there was a pre-order announcement for the Juggernaut/Colossus 2pack...I'll check the usual suspects: BBTS, Dorkside, EE, etc. EDIT Also, this... Yeah, Arbor, I mentioned it in a post after receiving my case. Great sculpt and my sleeper pic of the wave and new fave fig for this year's Legends wares, but the proportions are noticeably off.. I feel like legends is slowly up scaling across the board. MU did it years ago, the “3.75” figures were more like 4.5 by the end, but I think they were ramping into the 5 poa crap.
TBM, I’m glad you said something about QS from the three pack, he looks more like a dude dressed like quick silver to me, he should be on the jack o lantern buck or something more slender, the 2099 buck is just too beefy for a runner. |

Having read, and loved, the X-Men Black: Emma Frost special where she takes the title Black Queen I am completely on board with getting that version of the figure. But I would have liked the classic version first.

As for the mask, he's based on the Spactacular Spider-Man 90s story arc: ![]() I have no idea why Hasbro incorrectly colored his mask on the box art, but it is annoying since the one on the box looks more like the animated series version. Now for his height, he's only 2 inches taller that Spider-Man in the comics, so I'm fine with it since the pizza body makes Spidey a little bit taller than he should be anyway. I guess they could have just added an extra CM or two. Quote:

I've also never seen Quicksilver be that skinny despite being a speedster. He's definitely no where near being as thin as Flash is supposed to be. My only real issue with the figure is the lack of what should look like horns on his head due to the way he is is normally parted.
