I feel like legends is slowly up scaling across the board. MU did it years ago, the “3.75” figures were more like 4.5 by the end, but I think they were ramping into the 5 poa crap.
TBM, I’m glad you said something about QS from the three pack, he looks more like a dude dressed like quick silver to me, he should be on the jack o lantern buck or something more slender, the 2099 buck is just too beefy for a runner. I imagine Pietro's build as more akin to that of a running back than a track star, unless you count my boy Ben Johnson of PED fame. ![]() Personally, I find the slower (slower than the absurdity that is the "Speed Force" ![]() As usual, I've let my tangents run roughshod, but I'm sure there's something in there related to what you wrote! ![]() Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 06-30-2019 at 01:01 AM.. |

That's very good news regarding the Vintage wave sightings in Mexico...now if only Dorkside would notify me about my Hulk Wolverine 2Pack....which brings to mind the fact that I'm unaware of whether there was a pre-order announcement for the Juggernaut/Colossus 2pack...I'll check the usual suspects: BBTS, Dorkside, EE, etc.

I have the Puck series Emma and the alternate head from the Walgreens Emma looks great on it. I might have to seek out a soft goods cape for it to have a decent stand in White Queen. Any suggestions?

Any Florida/ S. FL Arkers have any good suggestions of comic shops or places to hunt around Ft. Lauderdale. I’ve found 3-4 good looking comic shops on Google, but that doesn’t always tell the whole story. I’ll be driving down 95 from SC, so if there’s any sort of amazing shop that is a “must-see” I’ll add it to the route.

![]() Again, the facial expressions are a bit soft, especially with the eyes, so I repainted Havoc's eyes to represent the white eyed look that Firefly would have in the comics sometimes when he was portrayed as the Faceless Master. Even without the paint job though, it's Firefly without a shadow of a doubt. Onto Legends.... Been sitting on giving some more thoughts on the Professor Hulk wave, so here's a couple of thoughts on Rock Python and War Machine. ![]() Rock Python: Not really sure what to say about this guy. I truthfully know very little about the character and outside of his Serpent Society association, I have no attachments to the character. What I can say is that outside the lack of accessories and maybe the character choice itself, there's no really weak points to the figure honestly. The body choice is a good one (Grim Reaper) and the colors are bright and bold. I love the contrasting blues, the paint apps on mine were super clean, and the headsculpt is really well done with some good articulation allowing for a ton of attitude. The lack of accessories really hurts, as I understand that Rock Python has a power set not all that different from Luke Cage, so some proper fist hands for punching, or maybe an overlay that clips onto the torso which show bullets bouncing off of him similar to the one that came with the Amazing Yamaguchi Captain America would really help him stand out a bit. Some python egg accessories would have been nice too, since apparently this guy lobs them at foes with deadly precision... Cool looking and solid figure, but if you can get him on the cheap, probably your best bet. He'll eventually be peg warming the way other SS members have in the past I'm sure... ![]() War Machine: Strong...solid entry, and one of the better armored figures we've received in a while. The articulation is pretty solid despite being somewhat limited by the bulk of the sculpt and the lack of double joints, but being that he's a larger armor, it's entirely forgivable. The weapon accessories are nice, but they are also my biggest complaint, as I wish that Hasbro would have taken a cue from their current Transformers lines and made War Machine a bit more modular with attachment ports all over that would allow attachments from previous figures to work. It would really allow him to stand out a bit more. The fact that the shoulder cannon doesn't properly store away and features extremely limited articulation is also something of a bummer. ![]() If you're wondering, the older Rhodie head fits on this WM perfectly, although the helmet won't match the model of the armor. Still, it's easy to fudge in, until we get a proper head for it. My final gripe with this figure is like Rescue, and many other IM armors, he could use a bit more silver paint on areas where it's needed, the back of the figure in particular. It leaves the figure feeling somewhat incomplete, and leaves a feeling that Hasbro only cares what the half facing out of the clamshell looks like, and not the figure as a whole. Really good figure and a must purchase, even if it doesn't match the film. It doesn't top the Mk 1 still in my opinion in terms of looks or aesthetics, but the MK 1 feels so tiny compared to this guy, who looks like a bad ass hulking brute who would take him to Suplex City. Hopefully they don't keep pumping up the scale of WM...pretty soon he'll be hitting Hulkbuster size... ![]() War Machine Party! |

You know, its getting crazy where Habsro keeps pumping out another Marvel Legends or 2 right after the Caliban build a figure series back in late May early June and all of a sudden the Caliban build a figure figures were all bought out or whatever from stores including Walmart.
and older stuff still pegwarms like the figures with the leg pieces of Absorbing Man. Now, theres like 2 or 3 new Marvel Legends series coming fast. the Wendigo build a figure line, the Avengers Endgame Hulk build a figure and the Classic retro X-Men with a nice looking Nightcrawler. and the Avengers Endgame Thanos build a figure stuff they're just pegwarming taking up space |

So I was at Walmart last night and they had a Far From Home end-aisle display over in the Barbie area facing the back wall. The main Legends section was pretty barren except for six six-armed Spideys so when I spotted the display from a distance it really got my hopes up, and the only Legends in said display were three cases worth of Endgame wave 1 with Herc and Ebony Maw already gone. Because that's what goes in the display for the new Spider-Man movie, Avengers toys I can find cheaper online. The hunt for Mysterio goes on.

Trying to build a decent WCA team without pulling heavily from my existing Avengers Classic... borrowed Hawkeye for a moment but mainly I'm looking at characters not already occupied fighting Ultron on the Avengers shelf... Someone recommended Living Lightning but unfortunately Living Laser showed up instead...
