Looking at the photo review of Cannonball over on MarvelousNews... goddamn, but Hasbro screwed the pooch on this one. My fears about the limited torso articulation are proven true, which just neuters the display options for this figure on top of the lack of legs (I don't mind the diaphragm joint, but it doesn't give the same level of 'leaning up and back' motion for flight poses that the ab crunch does). Sam really, really deserves better.
Though one of the forum comments did propose a good "fix" (Shatterstar legs and pelvis, Captain America boots), but really, this shouldn't have been given the go-ahead where it needed this kind of fix in the first place. I do hope someone calls them out at SDCC about this one, because it's just lazy.

I completely agree. As much as the top half of Cannonball looks great, and I will use him for flying scenes, I'll stick with my older Hasbro version for everything else, simply because he's a complete figure. I'd like to think they'd redo him with a full body at some point, but I'm not sure he's high profile enough. They really just messed up badly on this one and it's a rarity for them with this line the last few years.

This Hulk just isn't as good as we thought it'd be....it somehow manages to be even 10 times better! Holy shit I love this thing! It really reminds me of the Thing we got last year as far as overall quality and is probably in my Top 5 Marvel Legends EVER. Yes you read that right.
Wolverine is dope but nothing is beating that Apocalypse Wolverine for me in my overall display. I do enjoy the brighter colors on this though, which helps it stand out from the other Tiger Stripe Wolverine. I wish we did get an alternate head so he can look how he did in Giant-Size X-Men but I'm sure people are already exploring other options for that. Man, this is definitely an awesome set and this Hulk has definitely dethroned the Face Off Hulk and honestly....even the SHF IW Hulk for me. ![]() |

Seeing people get their hands on the Hulk set makes me hope BBTS gets them in very soon, Hulk is easily the figure I've been most anticipating since ToyFair.

If it weren't for online stores I'd be pretty pissed with Hasbro for continuing to just dump everything at once so stores aren't keeping up, they really need to do better at pacing things out.
Cap being Walmart exclusive could still make getting him a shit show. I'm glad Thor is the only one of those three I'm looking at. Seeing people get their hands on the Hulk set makes me hope BBTS gets them in very soon, Hulk is easily the figure I've been most anticipating since ToyFair. But onto the hulk pack you outta check GameStop’s i actually saw two of my stores had it. I didn’t pick it up but it’s the same price as everywhere else. |

Yea man Walmart exclusives are nearly impossible to find. I’ve only seen the worthy cap once(when I purchased him) still never seen Binary Marvel or any of the Legends two packs like Vulture. So Finding a Walmart exclusive Legend is like finding a needle in a haystack.

^ Excalibur Shadowcat is my number 1 want too... 2nd and 3rd would be 90's X-factor Havok and then Banshee. Been wanting a Shadowcat in any scale since the MU days though. I think I only like her because I remember liking her from my X-men card collection from the 90's... the one that Jim Lee drew all the art for.

Same here. We could definitely use a Kitty Pryde that fits more into a classic display.
I'm surprised Dazzler got another go around so soon after the release of her own figure, so I imagine a 90s era Shadowcat could be in the cards too. |

I want a Shadowcat, but I’d also love a version of her in the X-Men uniform that’s more classic looking (maybe shorter than the Juggernaut wave figure, with a different head, and a masked one too). But I recognize that’s a pipe-dream.

THIS IS IT!!. and.. the butterfly joints are hidden very well. you can't even tell he has them from just looking at it in a normal pose. well done Hasbro.. well done...

Really wish Binary Captain Marvel and Worthy Captain America would make it to my area.
My wife found Silver Samurai at Gamestop but I'm holding off. Much more excited about other figures. |

Got my hulk / wolverine set today,...MY GOD IT IS AWESOME!!!!
My one and only criticism ( not complaint) is the blue shoulder “armor” is plugged into his bare upper shoulder joint hole, which allows it to move with his arm, and doesn’t sit very close to the actual uniform part of the shoulder. Easy fix but so far that’s my only con in a long list of pros!!! |

No luck on 80th figures or X-Men vintage wave at my Target. Honestly not surprised though.

I just checked out the Cannonball review. That blast effect kind of sucks more than I thought it would. It seems too skinny. If they weren't going to include legs, I feel like the effect part should have at least been big enough to imagine a pair of legs inside it. I hate that I had to buy this figure, but I want a complete X-Force and it makes me feel like if no one buys Cannonball, they won't make a Feral.
