Domino and Shatterstar both pegwarmed a bit. If Cannonball also pegwarms, I worry that Hasbro won't finish X-Force. I know that they have been known to leave teams unfinished for years or possibly forever, but I really hope they finish this one. Oddly though, I am ok with Sasquatch wave Domino. I usually only want the version of a character that fits the team, but Domino is the exception. I like the character, but the original look was pretty stupid. I have no idea why it doesn't bother me.
I would still buy a 90's version if they made it. Stupid plastic crack addiction. |

Hell it might be shown at their panel during SDCC or their own hasbro event if they cant get into SDCC, they rent an office space out i think... 1 figure doesnt make a difference we have had ton of pegwarmers, look at some of the avengers waves, espically endgames 1st one it seem they had 3 peg warmers. |

This Hulk just isn't as good as we thought it'd be....it somehow manages to be even 10 times better! Holy shit I love this thing! It really reminds me of the Thing we got last year as far as overall quality and is probably in my Top 5 Marvel Legends EVER. Yes you read that right.
Wolverine is dope but nothing is beating that Apocalypse Wolverine for me in my overall display. I do enjoy the brighter colors on this though, which helps it stand out from the other Tiger Stripe Wolverine. I wish we did get an alternate head so he can look how he did in Giant-Size X-Men but I'm sure people are already exploring other options for that. Man, this is definitely an awesome set and this Hulk has definitely dethroned the Face Off Hulk and honestly....even the SHF IW Hulk for me. ![]() ...if you did order from Dorkside, how did you get it as the set still lists as a pre-order with an August arrival date? |

Loving that hulk and wolverine pack. I'm not planning on picking it up until after the end of the year, if it's available. If I miss it, I'm not going to sweat it.
Also the love for Shadowcat (and other versions of Kitty) and of course more X-Force which is no surprise. If there ends up being a Deadpool wave next year, which I hope there will be even if a movie's not coming, I think one of the female slots absolutely has to go to Syrin. I also read where Warpath is rumored to be coming, which would be great. At that point we're 5/8 of the way there, and Sunspot was a prominent new mutant. I think he'll get made 2020 or 2021 at latest. Feral and Rictor are harder sells but we also got Shatterstar so it's not out of the question. I think once we get those, X-Man, Strong Guy, 90's Havok/Polaris, Moonstar, a GOOD White outfit Emma, FA Storm, Jim Lee Storm in black, Morph, Banshee, Shadowcat, and classic Angel (pre Archangel) I'll be fine for X-Men heroes and versions of them, because I don't see Marrow, Cecelia Reyes and Monet getting made - I would love to see them though! That leaves a ton of villains. With assuming two female slots in 2020 wave I can't imagine Deathstrike won't be one of them considering how bad the current figure is. Pyro, Avalanche too even if they're not as bad. Callisto has to be coming at some point given the Mohawk Storm body is perfect for her. Nimrod's a must BAF at this point. I don't know if we'll see the Hellfire Club and Goblin Queen but I'd die a happy man if we did. That leaves a lot of various figures like Acolytes, Exodus (even if he was an acolyte I still separate him), Black Tom, Ahab, Vulcan, Trevor Fitzroy and many others I can't even name at this point. Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to add something else, I counted up how many X-Men related figures we have between Toy Biz, early Hasbro and post ROML Hasbro - 68 unique characters and X-men title specific (so I'm not counting alternate costumes, members of Alpha Flight, Wendigo etc). Granted we have a lot that need to be redone - about 20-25, but that's quite a few! I think we'll see most of the redos done and probably, by the end of it, another 20 all new figures. Edit: I didn't include any post -2000ish figures in my wants because I'm not actively wanting them, but I'm sure if they made some of the New X-Men class, and other post 2000 characters I'd buy them. Except for some of Jason Aaron's and Morrison's horrible creations. Last edited by Captain Nash; 07-13-2019 at 06:04 AM.. |

I'm thinking about turning Skurge into an army builder. Any recommendations on a helmeted head (preferably Norse themed) that would work for him? Last edited by maczero; 07-13-2019 at 06:37 AM.. |

This is true. I’m hoping we see the 70s X-Men team completed soon, now that the Jim Lee team is done. It would be even better if we could get more complementary allies/ villains like Black Tom, Arcade, some Hellfire club, more Starjammers, or more of Alpha Flight.

Hey Symbi, did you order this set from Dorkside and was it part of your retro X-wave order? The way Dorkside lists its orders when you order multiple items is sometimes hard (for me) to decipher. I was hoping to receive a surprise shipment of my Hulk/Wolverine, but I know that's not happening because my card wasn't charged for the requisite amount. Booo. Hssss.
...if you did order from Dorkside, how did you get it as the set still lists as a pre-order with an August arrival date? EDIT: Just checked GameStop's website and it's still available for purchase if you want to go that route. Last edited by SymbiSpidey; 07-13-2019 at 07:07 AM.. |

Haha, my man! Greatly appreciated my friend, I just placed my order and my Hulk is on the way! Thanks for getting back to me quickly, I feel much better having gotten this out of the way. I don't usually sweat early-acquisition photos, but it's the Hulk! I have no less than 3 different pre orders for this set and my blood was starting to boil that none of them have been filled as people were posting in-hand photos. |

Well crap, 80th Thor is still oversized, so he is going to tower over the classic Loki that just came out. Looks like I'll be returning that Loki after all.

True dat. Cobra and Cottonmouth weren't very popular and Hasbro still seems committed to completing a 2nd rate villain team like the Serpent Society.

So not only did my Colossus/Juggernaut 2-pack come in today but my Retro wave also came! Yay!
But poor QC strikes again because the black outline on my Colossus missed the mark....ugh. Figure is pretty great otherwise, but now I have to figure out how to fix that. I would imagine I can just remove the outline currently there and touch it up but I'd worry about messing up the metallic paint job. |

Ahhh...I thought as much, but I'm a little surprised that whomever sold it to you basically only added the cost of ship...that was a wash for them. Anyway, thanks again, my dude. |

I think he still has some listed for $79.95 with free shipping. Seller by the name of adamball889. A little bit more than what I paid but still not unreasonable considering it's not been widely distributed yet and every other etailer has them slated for August. I mostly got it early because I wanted to clear up some August purchases early on while I have the excess income. |
