Hoping Jean is single carded as I cant imagine what versions of Cyke and Logan are still out there that I would even want. Cyke there may be a few but Wolvy is totally oversaturated as this point. 80s brown, tiger stripe, x force, Old Man Logan, Patch, DOFP, Weapon X, Outback, and the Riders version have all been released in the last 2 years.

Oh, there's still quite a few:
First and foremost to me: AOA Wolverine
then you also have:
Standard X-Men Training uniform (right before the Jim Lee blue/gold era)
"Death" Wolverine- from The Twelve. Very niche, but I'd buy it.
Onslaught Era Wolverine - The Noseless One, or His Noselessness, whichever you prefer. Again niche and not sure I'd buy it.
Albert - the Wolverine robot, still counts.
Wolverine in the Fang outfit. - with Puma released now this wouldn't be hard to do.

That's six off the top of my head. Granted some of them are extremely niche, but I don't doubt Hasbro's capacity to milk the A-lister variants.

Re:Abomination; I've always had a problem with Hasbro's Abomination BAF since he's smaller than any Hulk Hasbro has done since the RoML. I want my Emil to at least be the same size as Hulk but bigger is fine, instead we have the opposite situation and with this new badass Hulk it's only worse.
I complained about exactly this and the potential problems it would create moving forward when the SDCC Raft set (prior to the BAF wave) dropped, but few agreed with me and my comments started an inane circular debate about the the size, scale, and listed heights of both the Hulk and Blonsky. Had I the time, I'd backtrack and quote the full convo.

We may be on the verge of seeing the same thing with Herc, Bill, and Thor depending on how the 80th anniversary fig plays out. I know many like to say that scale doesn't matter, but it does. Were Daredevil on the Grim Reaper mold, the fig would've been panned. If Hasbro had given Gambit the Hyperion body, few would've bought it. Just as street level heroes are similarly scaled, so too should be the heavyweights.

It's as if once Hasbro veers off the beaten path (character-wise) they make significant scale blunders (ie Herc, Bill, and Abomination etc). This is obviously not to say that Hasbro's is egregious in this regard, but there have been enough inconsistencies to denote a pattern. There have got to be some 40+ fanboys up in Hasbro that have some familiarity with Marvel back when the publisher had strict rubrics for size differences, right? Maybe not...

Nice. Wonder if that Jean will be the rumored box set version. Be a way to rerelease Jim Lee Cyclops without the scalper prices.

Nice List- I was trying to think of what Jim Lee Wolverine they could throw in a box with jean and (probably) Jacket Cyclops... I'm going to go with either X-Suit Wolverine or Patch in a White tuxedo (or just a white suit version of Capt.Marvel Nick Fury)...

Nice list. Personally I'm still hoping for a new Ultimate Wolverine. If they're going to keep putting a new Wolverine in every X-Wave then it'll have to happen eventually.

So glad they’re redoing Jean and in a suit I actually prefer. Hopefully Rogue isn’t too far behind in being rereleased but What’s the chance that hasbro updates a AOA SunFire? His design was actually badass

This probably wouldn't happen at SDCC as they'd want to show off the Main X-Men wave, but I keep thinking that 2020 is the 25th anniversary of AoA. Now personally I could think of 3-4 great waves of figures to celebrate it, but we won't get that. I'm hoping we can get a wave (2 would be great), and that's where AoA Sunfire, Wolverine, Magneto, Cyclops, Storm, Mystique and X-Man could go. A second wave could easily be Iceman, Jean Grey, Abyss, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Sabretooth and Dead Man Wade. BAFS Apocalypse obviously, and Dark Beast. I could keep going but I 'd think at MOST we'd see two waves.

What about an AOA Mikhail and an updated Holocaust, and maybe an AOA Mister Sinister.

Yea I figured it wouldn’t happen anytime soon but still was hoping ha. But I’d legitimately buy most of those. I’d be happy if they just gave us AOA Ice man, Magneto, SunFire, abyss, Rogue and a Morph. AOA wasn’t my favorite story but some of their designs I liked. Especially SunFire as I’ve said multiple times now haha. But if we get two waves I like the first baf Apocalypse but the second could be Nemesis(who definitely needs a new figure)

I'd put them in the wave with Dazzler, Damask, Gambit, Quicksilver and Havok with Halocaust the BAF, but I had to stop somewhere.

Nemesis does need a new figure, but I'd rather see Dark Beast personally. One thing about the Nemesis wave though in his favor, it was incredibly difficult to find and I only lucked out finding it at retail. Saw parts of it maybe a handful of other times, but never again the entire wave.

Yea Dark Beast would be totally badass. Let’s just agree There’s so many X men characters that need to be redone or Made ha! I’d buy Marvel Girl, Banshee(Who’s my top 10 wants at Sdcc), Pyro, Avalanche, Angel(also top 10), FA Storm(also top 10), Mimic, Classic Havok, Thunderbird, Longshot, Northstar and Xorn that’s just off the top of my head haha

So getting a new Dan Ketch Ghost Rider could actually happen pretty soon since they just announced he's getting a new series called "Beware the Ghost Rider".

Agree. There is almost not any x-character made before Jason Aaron's horrible menagerie that I wouldn't buy at least one version of - excepting a few of Morrison's weirder creations. They could literally do a subline of X-Men waves and give us 6 or more legends quality waves a year and I'd likely buy almost everything.

I love the Jean Grey figure in that photo! That's one of my Top 5 wants that's actually happening! Since this is likely the Jean for the rumored Jean/Scott/Logan three pack, I'm curious if this means we'll get a Jim Lee Cyclops re-release (fingers crossed for a removable jacket and optic blast) and Wolverine in his tiger-stripe suit, since we already had the brown-and-tan suit re-released in the vintage/retro wave.

As a quick question, is the Cyclops figure in that photo the same from the Warlock BAF wave or is it a re-release of it? The bandoleer looks more in-place, whereas the Warlock Build-A-Figure version was more loose. I guess we'll find out for sure when SDCC gets here.

We already got tiger-stripe Wolverine. The Cyclops in the pic just looks like the Warlock wave one, but he might get re-released in the three pack.

I'm hoping Jim Lee Cyclops does get re-released with the three pack. He was impossible for me to find the first time around and now he's being ridiculously overpriced on Ebay and Amazon. For Cyclops, I really hope he doesn't get those optic blast effects in the visor like the X-Factor version has (or if they do an alternate head or two, one doesn't have the blast effects).

In regards to "Tiger stripe" Wolverine, I think he'll like be the re-release included in the three-pack, since that was his suit from the Blue Team/Gold Team era and 90s animated series. I'd imagine he'd get a new head sculpt or two (for him with and without the mask), but as I said, we'll know for sure once SDCC gets here.

Thanks for the reply, En Sabah Nerd.

I think you're likely right, I given how difficult it was to find Cyclops when the wave current. I agree about the optic blasts - I'm all for a variant head with the blast/slot but not as the only option. Especially since unlike other Cyclops figures that have the headcap, this one wouldn't be easily replaceable.

If that Jean is packed in with JL Cyke and tiger stripe wolverine I would be buying 2 figures I already have. Hoping that's not the case.

First off welcome!
And I completely agree 100% as a person who doesn’t own either a Jim lee Cyclops Jean Grey or a tiger stripe wolverine I’d absolutely love it if they rereleased Both of them in the 3-Pack with Jean Grey. Because I’d be able to knock out The Main 3 Big X men characters in one pack and be able to add them to my collection. And if they do add Extra Heads and Accessories that’d be icing on the cake. I know super unlikely but they could do Throw in Extra Arms and a Jacket to be able display Cyclops with or without A jacket.

So, if I'm correct tomorrow is press day right? So they should start trickling the new figures.

Happy for that Jean. I'm not getting rid of mine as I love seeing the evolution of figures through the years. I'm pretty sure I have every Jean since the Toybiz 5" years.
Should do some Instagram pics, if I ever fancy getting in my cellar and fishing them out.

As an older collector my wants are more 70's, 80's.

Would love to see more more Alphans and New Mutants ( I never read the 90's X-Force).

As everyone else I want a new Banshee, Thunderbird, and classic Storm.

I know Polaris is not super popular but I'd love to see the old Neal Adams design. Same for Havok.

From the Avengers I would kill to see Jocasta and classic Ultron, Mantis and the Swordman,
Moondragon and Two-gun Kid. Also Mar-vell. In all his Robert Redford glory. And oils Ms Marvel too. Basically all the players in the Korvac saga, so I can reproduce the splash page of the Avengers lying semi dead with Thor and Moondragon looking on.
Plus the old Guardians Of The Galaxy. Specially Starhawk.

Spider-man needs Aunt May and Glen Stacy. White Rabbit, Frog-man and Lightmaster would be awesome.

The Invaders are way overdue. Human Torch, Miss America, Whizzer and Spitfire. And a baron Blood to combat. ( I get Master Man and Warrior Woman is pushing it, swastikas and all).
The FF need all their villains. Psycho-man, Wizard, Malice, Anhilius, proper Blastaar, etc.

The Inhumans should have been done by now. There's only four or five left.
And yes, Quasar, Stingray, Shroud, Any Hellfire Club, Morgan le fey, Clea and Meggan.

Any of this will have me punching the air. Any re-dos will not. ( thou my Iron Man and Thor do need updating).
