Cyclops doesn't bother me very much since that figure was really popular and sold out pretty quick, plus the secondary market prices are often ridiculous.

Wolverine is less defensible but...it's Wolverine. Hasbro's never gonna pass up a chance to try and sell more Wolverines, alas.

Here's another suggestion for you that will take some work but it might give you the look you want. Cut Dani's leg where I have it marked on the picture below and then replace it with K-2SO's leg. K-2 has a swivel at the knee so you could glue the 2 leg pieces together without having to worry about loosing the upper leg swivel. Also, having the leg go down into the boot would save the ankle articulation. If you really wanted her to have a robotic foot, they you could cut the boot closer to the ankle and then paint it to match the prosthetic. If you'd be interested in doing this, let me know and I could give you some further suggestions to make it come together.

The three-pack doesn't bother me in the least. I get a nice alternate Cyke in a look that I don't have to custom-make, with alternate heads that I can use on any Cyke. I get a Logan with bone claws and the alternate unmasked head from the Vintage release, which is arguably the best of the recent unmasked Logan heads.

And I get a Jim Lee Jean with her alternate animated series head. It's a triple win for me.

The unmasked head is actually not the same as the vintage wave version, it instead appears to be a downscale of the 12-inch unmasked head. The difference being that the vintage unmasked head is sort of pouting while the new head has a little sneer going on.

It looks a bit like the Jubilee BAF wave head to me

The only thing I caution about the Danger leg is that it's just a hair too long so you pretty much have to pose her with her hip popped or knee slightly bent

Finally found Mysterio in the wild on Friday. And my Jetfire came early Sunday of all days.

Not sure why it rotated the picture.

If the picture is too big height wise, it turns them sideways. Just crop some off the top and bottom and it'll turn the right way for you.

I'm trying to figure something out and maybe it just hasn't been confirmed yet - is the AoA X-Men wave going to replace the standard X-Men wave next year, or will it be in addition to? There's so much to be done still but outside of FA Storm, Shadowcat and a redone Lady Deathstrike I don't mind waiting an extra year for anything new from the standard X-Men universe, but those three have got to get done soon.

My guess is that the AoA wave is going to stand in for there not being an Avengers film next year. I don't see Hasbro doing a Black Widow or Eternals movie line.

I suspect at least one of them will since with one exception, every movie they've put out since Winter Soldier has gotten at least one dedicated wave. Alternatively there's the chance they just continue doing Avengers waves and slot in figures from those movies into them, like they did with Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Age of Apocalypse will likely take the place of the standard X-Men wave, but that doesn't mean those are the only figures that'll be in the wave. Even when we were in the thick of the Jim Lee waves, there were always a few figures that didn't fit the 90s X-Men pattern (Sunfire, Dazzler, Polaris, Old Man Logan, Punk Storm, modern Magneto, ect.)

Thanks for the insight - so it looks like we don't officially know yet. Hoping we get 3 X-waves and it's an AOA/Deadpool/X-Men wave, but it might be Deadpool and 2 AOA waves, or a mix of figures of the two non-Deadpool waves.

I'm good with that. They cancelled the books for A0A and replaced them for a few months, it's a neat way to tie into doing the same for the standard X-wave. Maybe we'll get FA Storm, Shadowcat, Deathstrike and I forgot to add, either classic or Jim Lee Banshee, in other ways. There's other figures we definitely need eventually but those are the main ones. Maybe Pyro, Avalanche, Sunspot, Rictor, Feral (bleh) and Siryn will show up in other ways - those being the next most needed.

The Jubilee wave and vintage wave figures definitely use the same head sculpt where he's just got this usual Logan brand pout, the vintage version just has better paint. Using the in box picture from Hasbro's post-panel updates we can see that the unmasked Logan head in the three pack has a grin. The battle-damaged head is almost definitely based on the 12-inch figure so it makes sense that the unmasked head is too.

I'm pretty sure we'll see waves for both these films. Black Widow is an OG Avenger so there's no way they're not going to have a big merchandise tie-in. And the Eternals are pretty toyetic so it's likely they'll have action figures.

I pulled out the accessories my 12" ML Wolverine and can confirm that the battle damage and unmasked heads match the ones seen in the 6" 3 pack. The regular masked head and the pulled down cowl piece however are reused from other 6" Wolverine figures.

It would've been cool if we could've gotten the battle damaged shoulder pads like the 12" figure had.

Wendigo wave is another hit from Hasbro!

Aside from Cannonball having no legs and Guardian being kinda bland as a figure (though I'm happy to have the character), this wave is fantastic. Boom-Boom is a sleeper hit from this wave and just appeals to me in the same way 90s Jubilee did when she dropped. Nightcrawler and Mr. Sinister are both FANTASTIC and EASILY shit on their ToyBiz counterparts. They're seriously Marvel Legends perfection! X-Force Wolverine is a solid representation of this costume and I still dig the Wendigo figure even though it seems not too many people are thrilled about it.

Love this wave. Get yourself Mr. Sinister, Nightcrawler and Boom-Boom ASAP.

I never liked Boom Boom back then when she popped up in X Force. She was pretty much a tougher version of Jubilee. Didn't Boom Boom first start out in the old X Factor comic or was it just Rusty and Skids back then?

She was there hanging with Rusty and Skids (Fallen Angels?)(X-Terminators). Her New Mutants persona was very (what we called back then) Maddonna-Wanna-Be! lolz.

Yea exactly. If they don’t have 1 Black widow movie wave at least I am going to be pissed(Like hasbro cares haha)
They better have at least MCU Civil war widow,Her solo film look Taskmaster and Red Guardian.

I think they will Though because they got flack for not producing enough BW merch before.

Really hope I can get out soon to start hunting down the 80th Anniversary, Vintage, & X-Men waves. They seem to be hitting more frequently now.

Until then, here's my most recent BST hauls:

I hope so especially with the Eternals. It may just be MCU and not comic but I mainly just hope we get Sersi. I had thought she was going to be the main character and that Angelina Jolie was going to play her, but turns out she's playing Thena instead. I hope they didn't change characters as that would hurt a chance for a Sersi figure.
