Hasbro actually has been great lately at serving fans, the entire 80th anniversary line feels like feedback and recognition to consumer devotion.

As it stands regarding Electro; I seem to remember that back at Toyfair or around then it was said there was interest in doing a Spider-Man specific retro wave, that would be a prime place to slip in a classic Electro. For me the big Spider-Man redo that I really want to see is Rhino, I came nowhere close to finishing the BAF and totally missed the boat on the Select one. Of my classic spider-villain favorites he is the one missing from my legends collection.
What part(s) are you missing for Rhino?

Almost all of him. All I have are his heads and whichever leg came with Ghost Rider.

Besides, like the Hulk, it'd be nice to get a figure that isn't part of a set or exclusive.

As for Cyclops and Rogue, Cyclops was impossible for me to find. I actually have a Rogue that's Mint-In-Box with a factory error where she's missing her jacket on the body. I tried selling it on my sister's Ebay, but nobody wanted it.

I also love your idea about a 90s team uniform set for characters like Jubilee, Storm and Gambit.

@ Trivial Psychic: I'd love a Gray Hulk with alternate heads too. I'd include the Jack Kirby head version, a Todd McFarlane head version and an Ultimates head version. I'd even settle for a Mr. Fix-It Gray Hulk.

@ Dr Kain: Congratulations on the Colossus and Juggernaut two-pack!
That’s fair. I could see them doing that though, considering the rarity of 1/2 of the Sinister Six, and the demand for bendy tentacles for Doc Ock. But yeah, it would be easier to get a straight up rerelease. The Hulk, Giant-Man, and Juggernaut seem to suggest that Hasbro is willing to give us BAF rereleases, or BAF sized figures independently of waves. The only Cyclops I’ve ever seen is sitting at my local comic store for $79.99.

They coudl always do a silver and green repaint of Doc Ock and gave him bendy tentacles that way. Or even do a 90s version with the yellow armor.

Speaking of Ock, I just read the issues where he "dies" during the Clone Saga. This is what at this point, the third of fourth time he died before coming back again?

looking at Hellcat I wonder what made hasbro think Black lower legs painted yellow was a good idea vs yellow legs painted black... I'm thinking that had to have been a manufacturing miscommunication...

@BoTtef:

Loving that display (both actually). I also have a dedicated classic Defenders display.
Your post reminds me I can put the old Beast there too. I forgot!
Would love to complete what I consider their main members: Clea, Gargoyle, Devil-Slayer, Son Of Satan and Red Guardian.
And from the later recruits, Moondragon and Andromeda. I get that Manslaughter and Cloud are next to impossible.
And we defo need proper Power Man and Classic Valkyrie. The old Val is too updated, and the last one was not great at all.

Same here. And, even though the mold is 5 years old, it's the perfect starting place for Firestar. AREYOULISTENINGHASBRO?

All of those- YES! I'm actually surprised we haven't seen the female Red Guardian yet.

ha ha ha- that's the way it works (...and why I do very little customizing with ML) I don't think we'll see a classic Strange at least until the figures for Starnge2 come out- so that's a ways off... even then- i don't know- I really dig this Mezco one.

After re-looking at that cosmic ghost rider with his spikey shoulder pads. As well as spider-punk, I'm hoping to see these get announced.

That Dr Strange from Mexco is beautiful. It took me awhile to pull the trigger, but I love him now ( I also have Shazam, Popeye and Frankestein's monster). But beyond their price, they don't look right to me with ML. I still use my old Toybiz Strange. But I'm sure it will happen. Patience is the name of the game.

Ah @ War Machine
That Penance was great. I also love the Gen X Penance. Need both.
About Dan Ketch, I don't have the Toybiz version, but I'm thinking of getting it. I just live all the bike heroes, they look great together. Can't wait for Cosmic GR and Squirrel girl. So weird, so good.
BTW, did you get to London Film and Comic Con. They had all the multi packs etc. It ruined me for the month, but it was nice to get them all at once. I'm sure InDemandToys have got them in stock.

@En Sabah Nerd: I agree, we need a new non Build-A-Figure classic Rhino. I'd love to get new "classic suit" figures for the Lizard, Electro, Boomerang, the Rhino and the Shocker to add to my Spidey collection. (I'd also love to see Electro back in the comics after his lame, pointless death during "The Clone Conspiracy", but that's just me.) I also remember that retro Spider-Man wave talk. I wonder if they'll use that for a vintage 90s Spider-Man animated series wave in the near future?

@Bo Ttef: I'd love a classic Luke Cage figure too. Fingers crossed Hasbro has that planned for next year.

@Dr Kain: 1995's "Web of Death" from the Clone Saga was the first time Doctor Octopus died. Because fans hated it so much, he was resurrected by the "True Believers" section of the Hand in 1997, though Dan Slott later used that as his excuse to have Doc Ock slowly dying and swap minds with Peter Parker. I think a first-ever figure of Armani suit Doc Ock would be a great way to include bendy wire tentacles (maybe as a two-pack with Stunner and an alternate "Mark of Kaine" head?). However, I still think last year's Doc Ock toy should have had bendy wire tentacles in the first place. It would've made that good figure into a great one.

Thanks for your attention and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Which looks better with the Black Order? Marvel Select or BAF Thanos? Picked up BAF Thanos at my LCS 2 days ago and a Typhoid Mary that I traded a Drawer of older figures I had.

Well I guess movie Thanos maintains the theme that they're all movie looks. I never could get into that new Select Thanos, the face sculpt just feels so off mark to me.

Select is my go-to. I think they nailed a perfect mix of comic and movie to make it look good in either kind of display

I've got ZERO problems mixing Mez and ML- but I've got a pretty small library of Mezco figures I like. My big breaking point with them is the head. If they have a costume like Wolverine or Flash or batman Beyond where the suit is supposed to be the same material as the mask- I just can't do it... but on a figure without a mask- like Strange or Punisher (or the even regular batman because his cowl- to me- has never been the same material as his suit) Those I can get behind... I'm super picky about that...
