Thanks Tim! The theme plays in my head every time I look at the X-Men.

I don't think that's true actually. I have both. They seem pretty different

Arms and legs, at least.

I was going to say the same, I also have both (all three, to be exact). The early Nightcrawler is actually quite large, comparatively, to other TB Legends. That was one my peeves about the fig. The torsos are completely different, I'm also fairly certain the arms aren't the same either, and the hands/feet/head are all different as well. The thighs and lower legs might be the same, but I'm too tired to dig them out (well, the new one just arrived, so that's readily available) and check all three...plus...the debates are on.

Edit

I could be wrong, but I don't even think the arms are the same...

double edit

Whoops, said that already...

I was looking to nab an extra Storm along with the Silver Harada I grabbed, but the GS manager I spoke to said Hasbro has listed her as "discontinued"...joy.

The review from ComeSeeToys has a comparison shot. They're almost the exact same size, obviously though the Hasbro one cuts a much better silhouette. Seeing it again though I can't get over how much the ToyBiz Kurt reminds me of David Hasselhoff.

I mentioned I'd try to get a picture of yesterday of my Selene Kit bash, sorry that it didn't happen. But I had a moment today - sorry for the bad lighting and I don't have a photo account anywhere to upload the large pictures, take it for what it is. Maybe one day when I have room to display.

Noting the difference is skin tone IS more noticeable in hand, but it's still not the worst I've seen.

Not just the skin tone- That head is massive... I thought it would be oversized- Hela is a really big figure- even for MCU. Might be better off with that modern SpiderWoman figure (with the glasses)- and then hair swap to get that look.

That head looks a bit too big, proportion-wise.

EDIT: What Bo said

Thanks for the feedback! I might try the SpiderWoman figure head and this figures hair. I know the head is a bit larger than the norm, but honestly me personally I'm okay with it.

I guess when I was saying the head fit perfectly, I meant the neck peg was a perfect fit. Wasn't even thinking about the overall head being too large.

In the end though...no matter what we say...if you are happy with your work...be happy and don't let it dissuade you.

As for alternate headswaps, you could also try removing the hair from one of the heads that came with the Emma figure for something more appropriate.

Hmmm...I wonder if they'd fit on Hela's head Probably not if the head is too big

I guess the thing about that head I really liked is, before knowing it was a bit too big and difference skin tone, it really lends itself to Selene's haughty imperialism, it's also angular much like she's generally portrayed. Plus on a different body it looks a lot less like Cate Blancett than it does on a Hela body.

Regardless I do appreciate the input - more suggestions are welcome. You all know how badly I want a Selene figure.

That'd be too small, proportionally. Teen body, remember?

On the subject of Marvel Legends heads, outside of the smaller size, the new Scorpion figure was pretty wicked...with the exception of that head. I was able to find someone to commission for a custom headsculpt, and it finally arrived today...

While the camera catches the slight difference in the paints, in hand, it's barely noticeable, and I'm VERY happy with how it came out. This is the Scorpion I knew and loved growing up, and while the other head was not incorrect, I can retire it for another day for this one.

Pardon my language but Holy shit that’s awesome Triv! I much prefer that to the one we got. Not saying the normal release is bad in fact I absolutely love the figure but I kinda wish Hasbro made him the ruining change like Green head Mysterio.

redfox put a SpiderWoman head on Peggy and made an awesome Lois Lane... Throw a Dagger head on there and it's not too terrible of a Val Cooper... you could go all out and paint the suit but I think even military colors works pretty well for her...

You’ll definitely end up loving Skurge. He’s one badass fig. It’s impossible to say no to a Karl Urban Figure so there’s that.

That is so awesome!! May I ask who you commissioned? I’m looking to have some work done as well.
