He's definitely been obtainable for me, for the longest time he was up on amazon for around $20 prime, and even when I got him at GS he was on sale but in general all of my Walmarts and Targets were choking on the undesirables from the delayed Lizard wave so they never really got the Sp//dr wave. Spidey waves seem to be the most inconsistent of late in regards to who sees what and where.

If anyone is interested, I have a Lizard Wave Mysterio (new in box/white head) and a MCU Michelle "MJ" (Zendaya) available for trade. Only looking for the Walmart 80th Alex Ross Cap at the moment.

Found 80th Cap, Iron man and Hela/Executioner 2pk. Watch out on Cap and IM on the paint jobs. I nearly walked all the way to register before noticing a bad white paint smear on the 2nd Cap head and scratches on IM's faceplate.

I've seen a few reviews and some stuff on IG about Storm having loose or gummy joints and not being able to stand or balance, can anyone that's gotten one confirm or weigh in?

As if I didn't already want this, after reading House Of X issue 2 I want a Moira McTaggert STAT.

Also, relating back to the conversation at Marvel Select FA Storm, I have it and yes she's oversized, but dammit Storm is a Claremazon. Tall is regal and elegance. And, it's better than nothing at this point, but I deeply want FA Storm in Legends form.

Mine doesn’t suffer from that loose or Gummy joints problem at all granted I might be lucky. But she is a bit hard to get to stand. Which is probably due her cape(Not really sure what to call it)

@Ken. I got it my friend!!

Yeah she’s still pretty good and I’ll still keep her until Hasbro makes one.

I’m going to open Retro Dazzler and have the team gathered around my 1/12 X-Men Arcade Cabinet.

I love my Beast.

My local Target had all of its 80th ann. stuff out on an end-aisle setup. I already planned on passing on this Iron Man because I'm waiting for Silver Centurion but I was definitely excited to pick up a Thor. Paint-wise every Iron Man looked pretty good but then Thor was all over the damn place. I had to look through every one they had to find a good one. Mostly it was just stuff like a lot of black marks on the silver or notably off yellow on the belt but one was straight up missing his eyebrows and the lip coloring was totally off so that half of it was on his cheek. All that being said and having found one with good paint I gotta give this Thor an A-plus with a big ol' gold star. Great sculpting and articulation all around on this guy, plus his Mjölnir is fantastic. I will acknowledge though that he is a bit oversized which won't sit well with everybody.

Gamestop had the entire vintage X wave minus Storm so I took a look at Silver Samurai and was pleasantly surprised to see that the one they had wasn't struck with the paint or mask issues I'd read about other people seeing so I got him. The helmet is ever so slightly tilted but with everything else coming out fine it's minor enough to easily overlook. Really my main complaint against this figure is the limitations against the posing of his shoulders and therefor arms due to his own bulk. The sculpting though is pretty involved but not all of it gets to be fully appreciated due to the minimal paint apps. Overall a great addition to Logan's enemies in Legends.

Last but not least Nightcrawler arrived from Amazon. This has been my most anticipated single Legend in quite some time and it feels good to have Kurt in hand. All 3 heads came out great and I really appreciate the options they allow for display. Paint on mine is pretty clean with only minor spots of error which I totally expected going off of the reviews I saw. Articulation is all good except for the limited range on his butterfly joints but I will note that I think his tail is great as a solid piece sculpted in a twist with a swivel instead of Hasbro attempting such a thin bendy wire. I like the inclusion of the saber since more accessories is almost never a bad thing but I will personally be going the classic route and display him without it. Definitely a great addition to the X team and a great overall rendition of the character.

Hey, is this the right place to ask customizing questions? I am really hoping to do more of a part swap. I am hoping to make a legion that looks like his legacy run:
I am having trouble remembering a legend that has sweatpants style legs.
Thanks

Maybe the new “Fat” Thor Baf Figure might work. He’s got sweatpants on. Or possibly a Homemade suit Spider-Man...Now I think about it that wouldn’t work. All that comes to mind is that Baf Fat Thor.

Shang Chi. You could also use the vest from the upcoming Punisher.

@sh002 where did you get that alt head from?

I really need a new updated punisher with a long trench coat, not a fan of the epic heroes one

Loved it! Hickman is revolutionizing the X-Men in a way that hasn't been done since Morrison. But without the (IMO) bad art that came with Morrison's run and detracted from the overall quality. Hopefully the quality continues after HoX and PoX.

Back to legends, I read that Elizabeth Hurley is going to play Morgan Le Fay in Runaways Season 3. I'm imagining the outfit will be a bit less risque than what Le Fay has worn in the comics. I'm crossing my fingers that maybe we can get a Le Fay out of this.

You know, if you're going to play the swap game, at least have the common decency to tell the customer service rep the figures are broken or defective so they don't go and put them back on the shelf.

Well that was fast. Seriously fuck those people who do that. Someone has already done that to the Hela pack in my town too. Shoved the old single figure in there.

I'm pretty sure that anyone who "plays the swap 'game'" doesn't know the first thing (or even care) about "common decency".

Yea exactly. Because if they did they wouldn’t have swapped in the first place.

Anyway I picked up Nightcrawler along with the Croc Multiverse wave today at Walmart. Nightcrawler is easily the best comic figure I’ve gotten all year. I thought nothing would top Scorpion but he somehow managed to do it.
