God, I hope they reissue/retool Blob in some way. Just give him different hands and maybe figure out some knee articulation.
I had my hands on a complete Blob a couple weeks ago, when the shop got in a HUGE collection of older Legends, but the owner hadn't priced him yet. Within minutes of being put in the display case, someone called preemptive dibs regardless of what the price would be.

As for her arms, I thought one side had an open shoulder while the other side was covered?

![]() ![]() These were the looks she sported from around that time period (the first from right around when she joined the X-Men, the second from during their Outback period). If anything, her Vintage figure is based on her look in Pryde of the X-Men and the accompanying arcade game. ![]() ![]() Either way, no belt.

Colossus: ball-joint and hinge neck (almost all Legends use it) ball-hinge shoulders swivel biceps single-hinged elbows swivel-hinge wrists hinge ab-crunch I think there's a waist swivel under his belt ball-joint hips swivel thighs double-hinge knees hinged ankles with rockers Juggernaut: Same as Colossus except his knees are single-hinged and he definitely has a waist swivel.

Brickseek is such a crapshoot. It's helped me a few times, yesterday it's what led me to the Juggernaut set, but usually I chase false leads as happened with comic Thanos and the Corvus set until eventually it's right.

![]() I’ll keep Dazzler without the belt. I’ll see how Polaris’ hands look with Dazzler.

I guess I'd say he has long arms, he's also got big feet and a really nice texture on his suit like thick leather or maybe a pachyderm's hide. The Select Juggernaut is a little bigger than the Hasbro option but he's got wonkier proportions (which isn't necessarily bad since he has been drawn as such in some modern books) and a bit less articulation. I think they're both great figures with the Hasbro version, especially the two pack, being more classic and the Select being more modern.

Made some quick and easy customs. I still need to get some white paint for Cannonball.

That is the Toybiz figure from 2004.
I don't see how anyone could really say he's too big, he's barely bigger than the BAF. He is a lot heavier though.

Yes! I finally found an unspoken for Night Crawler at one of my Gamestops. First time I found something at Gamestop in like three weeks that wasn't already claimed by someone's pre-order. They also had Canonball, but I couldn't do it... I know I would spend a fortune trying to give him custom legs.
EDIT: Holy crap... Gamestop.com just changed their online store inventory checker thing... you can't tell which stores have what figures in stock anymore. Quote:

Thanks to Starlord87 for finding these for me! I can't imagine how long it would've taken me to get these without their help.
![]() One thing to note: I feel like Cap's head is kinda surprisingly small? Like, it's smaller than those of most adult Marvel Legends, except for like half of the figures on the Bucky Cap body, which is of course smaller than this body. I'm almost hoping someone makes a cast of the head this figure already comes with, just upsized slightly, to fix it. Last edited by Jeddostotle7; 08-13-2019 at 03:18 AM.. |

I wasn't sold on the look enough to commit to painting. Without the jacket the neck looks too long

So I'm quite pleased with 80th Cap except for one thing, which I don't understand why this is so hard for Hasbro to get right, the shield. They've got like 4 different versions of the shield and they chose to go with the worst version of them all, the small one with the stars and stripes painted on (not to mention painted the wrong shade of red too).
So far the best shield has been the one from the Age of Ultron pack that has actual straps on it, the stars and stripes are sculpted into the shield's details, and it is the right size. I don't get why Hasbro didn't repaint THAT shield for 80th Cap. Or, if they really desired to have the shield be able to be attached to Cap's back, have the shield include a clip that can attach to it to connect it to be backside.

Great display! I'm curious if you are gonna get the new Jean Grey 3 pack or stick with the trio you already got?
For me the mid to late 80's were all about G.I. Joe and the early 90's were all about X-men. Even though I also had some Lego, He-man, TMNT and Transformers toys... I only have a genuine fondness for Joes and X-men for some reason. I will certainly be picking up the Jean 3 pack. It may take me a while to opening them since they are somewhat all accounted for already, but those alt heads are worth the pack price alone IMO. He has a clipboard in hand and he is taking inspiration from the world around him, lol |
