We got two Dazzlers before Banshee. I’m breaking the theme too.

There's a Marvel Legends Hasbro Banshee. it's just pitifully out of date and was a horrible figure even back in 2007. But yeah we got two dazzlers, two polaris...polar...i? before one decent Banshee. Then again I was screaming for a Polaris for years so I shouldn't be complaining.

I think it'd be hilarious though if we get a Dazzler in the presumed to be all AoA wave.

I’m looking for the following BAF pieces (the BST thread doesn’t get as much traffic as this one).

Sasquatch head (X Force Deadpool)
Sasquatch arm (Paladin)
Sasquatch leg (Deathlok)
Juggernaut leg (Havok)
Wendigo head (Wolverine)
Wendigo torso & tail (Guardian)

Hit me up

Took some pictures of my newest figures:

I do have to say that I really hate the Storm cape. Cheapness aside, it can't even be centered. It is constantly slide over to her right side no matter what I try to do. I even tried to heat it up to fix it and that made it worse.

I’ll never complain about having two Polarises (Polari?). I forgot about the 2007 Banshee. I guess I was thinking strictly of the 2014 line revamp. I bought that figure and consigned it to a bin for eternity. I might even still have it. The combination of a weird lanky body, wonky articulation, and an awful head-sculpt really ruin it. The lack of a good Banshee really bothers me since he’d be another step closer to completing my favorite X-Men team (the 70s “Giant-Size” team).

White outfit 90's Storm is the cartoon version right? I hope if/when Hasbro decides to do the black version of 90's Storm they make it a part of the 81tst Anniversary line or something so they have the excuse to spend the extra effort to make her cape out of hard flexible plastic since they are charging 5 bucks more for it. Maybe they will include the improved black version in a 3 pack or something.

Stupid cartoon show? It's only one of the best cartoons of the 90s. Sure, it isn't as amazing as BTAS or Gargoyles, but the story telling still holds up quite well for the first 2/3rds of the show.

^ That outfit is meant to be all black though right? It is just the shading and the highlights that make it look white since all black outfits didn't come across too well on the older comic paper. And then the 90's cartoon just decided to make it all white for some reason.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be white/silver. When something was meant to be black the accents were almost always done in blue or gray like Nightcrawler's suit or Venom. I'm well aware of the argument that the white coloring was just highlights but when the highlights represent 80% of what we're seeing they're no longer highlights they've become the dominant color. If we're arguing that her costume is black in those images then we could also argue that her is meant to black or that Colossus' metal skin is also black. The costume with the lightning zigzag on the chest and no shoulder pads was almost definitely black though.

Those look a lot like some clear acrylic risers that I've ordered on Amazon before.

Got my custom Beast head from Anthony's Customs. I love this Beast even more than I did before. Still undecided on if I'll fill in the eyes or leave them white. And don't know if I want an actual book cover for the book or if I just want to paint it a solid color so it can be anything.

I know a lot of people don't really consider something count to be Marvel Legends unless it's from ROML forward, and to each their own. While they're definitely nowhere near the same quality as what we've been getting the last 5 years, they still exist.

Not that you're saying that, you just forgot about him being done and understandably so - Hasbro was definitely on a learning curve for their first few waves, but even then, he was to me the absolute worst - even 12 years ago I knew he was crap. But everyone from those first few waves needs to be redone if they haven't been already.

I would be fine with either a Jim Lee era or GSXM era Banshee - we just need one of the two badly.

I’ve asked him lee what the intention was for this costume a few years back after having arguments with friends over it for years.
Long story short: It was intended to be a reflective silver.

Other artist/colorist over the years have translated it how they have seen it, but the original intention was always silver.

This has always been my thought process, however, Storm was always an odd case since she always had white highlights over her black costume. Nevertheless, usually her costumes were 75% black with 25% white highlights, whereas the Jim Lee one was like 60% white with 40% black, so I've always thought of it as being either white or silver, never black.

They were $9 a month ago but then Amazon upped the price to $10 for Non-Prime members, which is bullshit, so I'm going to see if I can get them from someoen else that doesn't play dirty.

Oh, and be warned, they come with plastic stuff over them which is a pain in the ass to remove. I still have some residue on the corners of them that refuses to come off.

Not to worry everyone, I'm thinking eventually we'll get that Storm in the silver as well as black. My thought process on why they went with white was because it's more recognizable to the public due to it obviously being white on the animated series.

Oh I'm sure they will, I just want to know what the hold up is on First Appearance Storm. They've gotta know that we are begging for her, right?

I just don't get why they didn't do that here since they are still charging $20 despite not having a BAF.

I sure would hope so. And while I always wanted her to get done, she was still behind my want for a JL Storm. Now that that's done, I am fully behind FA getting done. She's one of the handful of glaring omissions in the line, maybe the most, even more so than...well...

Honestly though who I meant, is very much fan demanded, but as far as iconic goes, there's really no look that's more iconic that's missing than FA Storm.
