Ouch- why can I see Hasbro making WildChild the BAF....

I do have to echo the quality control sentiments others have experienced, especially lately. 80th Caps left knee had a mispunched upper peg AND left elbow upper peg. So I'll be fixing those. I had to pick through the 80th Iron Man and Thor the other week to find aligned eyes, no scratches, etc.

It definitely sucks because most stores will get one case. So you don't have any choice to pick through because there's 1 of each figure. An exclusive is even worse because of demand, availability, scalping, etc. You get what you get because you may not run into it at retail again.

I've still never seen Worthy Cap. The one figure I'm still wanting.

those would both be great- but Hasbro has a way of skimping when they can... and that could easily be a BAF WildChild or AoA Apoc...

I doubt it'd be Wild Child. Pretty sure they said they weren't gonna be doing any more of the 'mini-BAFs' like Hit-Monkey or Puck any more, and Wild Child would fall into that category.

AoA BAF I could only picture Apocalypse, Dark Beast, Nemesis, Abyss (possibly, he's going to be a weird one to do design wise anyways). and Sugar Man. I'm not sure who else could be "big" enough to qualify.

I think it’s a 99% chance the baf being Apocalypse. Especially since it’s a AOA wave. What do you think the chances hasbro does a Baf rerelease of Apocalypse as a GameStop or two pack exclusive? They have been on a Baf rerelease binge lately after all but That’s the only way I see them doing any other Baf for the AOA wave.

I hope Hasbro really considers putting Magneto in the AoA wave. I know the Amazon three pack just came out but that wave won't be until next year and I love Magneto's helmet and long hair from the AoA.

As for the BAF I could see them just doing Apocalypse but personally I might rather see Nemesis/Holocaust or Blob since I'm worried that if Apocalypse were done as a BAF again Hasbro might see no reason to redo the 2018 BAF on its own or in a two pack.

I really do think if it's one wave it will be:

Weapon X (confirmed)
Morph (confirmed)
X-Man (confirmed)
Magneto (almost certainly)
Sabretooth (even more certainly, even Toybiz made him!)

Last 1-2 spots for female characters more than likely

Jean almost for sure.
Rogue, Mystique or Storm would be the other most likely. I'd rather it be Storm but it would probably be Rogue.

If it's 7 characters and only one female character the other figure I would have to think would either be Bishop, Iceman, Cyclops or Nightcrawler. But honestly I can't see them NOT doing Cyclops somehow. We haven't seen an 8 figure wave in a LONG time but if it's just one wave this would be the time to do it.

BAF: Apocalypse. Unless he's part of a two pack like you suggested. Magneto vs. Apocalypse two pack would be awesome. That would free up a BAF and a spot in the wave. Of course, all these characters, and then add in Dark Beast, Abyss, Gambit, Dazzler (complete with cigarette lighting finger)....we need waves and waves of this.

I'm telling ya'll this wave it going to be my favorite wave of next year. I'm giddy thinking about it.

How about a AOA Horsemen 4-pack with Abyss, Mikhail, Holocaust, and Mr. Sinister.

Same! The wave had me at AOA Morph haha. But I completely forgot about a AOA Gambit. Now I definitely need him in my collection.
I’d rather have either Gambit Iceman or Sunfire then Sabertooth but I know he’s probably gonna be the one they do make. Which I get it since he’d go with Weapon x

I just had some more random thoughts on this and then I'll shut up. Not true, you all know I'll never shut up.

Magneto: I suppose it's possible that since his AoA look is very similar to the 616 look they could just pack an alternate head in with another character. That would be one way to get us 90% there but free up slot for someone else and I'd be okay with it.

Deadpool: not really for this wave but, but the Deadpool wave could aboslutely have a Dead Man Wade for one of the Deadpool variants.

Lady Deathstrike: Two things here, hear me out. Remember that Wolverine wave that was rumored like 3 years ago? I think we've gotten every character from that now except Lady Deathsrike, that has been beyond sorely in need of an update from that ghastly Toy Biz version. And, if I recall correctly, her AoA look was almost identical to the 616 look. Just saying.

They could also put out another Family Matters set of AoA Rogue, Quicksilver and Magneto. With a pack in Charles (that could have an alternate head that turns him into 616 Franklin Richards.) I'm brilliant, I tell you.

Finally, if they wanted to throw a real wild card in this they could give us characters like Switchback, Damask, AoA Wolverine (616 Cruele), or others and I'd be mostly okay with it. Except if they're brand new charcters my #1 most wanted AoA character is definitely Abyss.

While Magneto doesn't have to be in the AoA wave itself, making a two pack of him vs Apocalypse would be a nice way to make the BAF of the wave something truly new, I feel like just throwing his head in with someone else wouldn't be right. This practice is mostly fine with BAF characters but it would be low for Hasbro to force people to buy multiple of the amazon set just to have one of each Magneto or if someone had no interest in the three pack they'd have to track down a body for the head to go on. For example, I don't like how the Deadpool scooter set came with Bob's head but you then need to also have the exclusive HYDRA pack or the long out of production Mandroid wave figure. Mystique came with Lilandra's head but except for customizing there's not even a proper body for her.

Oh good point, I forgot there isn't another classic Magneto body that could really be used outside of the recent 3 pack. Yeah that would be low. I really like your idea. Let the two giants of the AoA have their own set.

My only hope would be that they just do some kind of repaint on the Apocalypse BAF for such a set, I know it wouldn't be accurate but I'm not a big fan of how much Apoc's AoA costume ditches all of his classic elements like the big 'A's and his arm tubes in favor of adding flashy red bits and a cape.

I can see them doing an AoA Jean, mostly because I just started working on a custom one.

She was also a figure that was planned at some point that was scrapped. Not that this means anything just wanted to point that out.

Saw an X-Force Wolverine today and noticed his claws are different... they are super thick... I mean they are still thin, but long depth wise... looks really weird IMO. I wonder why they changed it.

And even double packed I thought Nightcrawler would be the hardest to find of that wave, but I have seen multiple Nightcrawlers and not a single Mr. Sinister.

Pause.....Haha.

Well it seems those 80th figs aren’t gonna be that hard to find. I’ve seen multiples of each(Especially Iron man and Caps) at all my local Walmarts. It’s got me wondering if they’ll end up super clearanced out like the 10 year stuff
