That was legitimately my reaction haha. You can check their website to see what stores have the i team in stock so y ain’t driving everywhere. That’s how I got that Aim set. Saw one store had it called and had them hold it.
If I see any other Aim sets for $5 I’ll definitely hook y’all up. But it appears just one store near me had a single set left

That's the "Gambit" effect right there. I used to see Rogue all over the place when she first dropped, and while she was a little more expensive than others, it was nothing too extreme. Suddenly Gambit's announced, and Rogue has hit stupidity in price on the secondary market. It's too the point where I'm seeing folks buying the Select figure, and sawing her legs down so she'll fit in because in the long run, it's a much cheaper option.

I found Emma Frost at a local Walgreens a few days ago, and hot damn...I'm impressed. I had little to no expectations on this one, but I can't get over how well done this one is. Both of the headsculpts are homeruns, and have quite a bit of custom versatility to them as well. Sharon Carter? Check. Felicia Hardy? Check. Gwen Stacy or Yelena Bolova? Put a little elbow grease into it...and yep..it's there. Then of course, we've seen some arkers here whip up makeshift Selene and Madalyn Pryor figures in no time. Definitely hoping I run into another before long in the wild, because this figure is dynamite on so many levels.

Lol vampires...but I'd be lying if I didn't lament the loss of value for so many of the SDCC figures I own. I don't collect for money, but when any one fig is worth 4-7 (that random enough a number? Lol) times what I paid, it helps offset the amount of space I use to store it all.

I'm curious to see the new one. Looks like they added a smirk to the new design along with a less drastic mustache. I never understood why Hasbro textured Eugene's body hair, but opted out of applying a paint app. I guess so they could do this...lol

Chance sales like this are the kind of sales I thought the discussion was referring to for the last page or two. Not just a few dollars off retail but giant markdowns. There's no way to anticipate it but sometimes we get lucky.
These sales are great, I often find some cool stuff, but sometimes I’m just mad at how little I find. It’s great for folks who don’t have the M’Baku wave or the Kree Sentry wave though, on that I’ll agree (I got lucky with the M’Baku wave for $5 each at a Walmart, and my family overpaid for the Kree Sentry wave as a gift). Once in a while we really benefit from the glut of certain waves at retail. Also, the Kree Sentry, while the wave isn’t great, is an awesome BAF, so glad to hear more people are finishing him.

took will-power to not go bonkers on Gamestop website this morning (who wouldn't want to load up on $5 Gremlins???) But I have enough... and buying for "parts down the road" leads to boxes of unopened shit filling the garage. At least I know what's going to be flooding the toy tables at any upcoming local toy shows...

Now that is a cool X-men team shot. And I actually really like the metallic blue on Rocket Racoon Jean Grey... it makes me sad the new Jean Grey has a more satin blue color.

Also... I guess 5 bucks was the magic number for Skullbuster since all my Gamestops sold out of him all of a sudden.

Wonder if that Morbius movie next year will cause people to overinflate the price on the Legends figure from the Absorbing Man wave. He's pretty cheap still and he lingered on shelves but who knows. What if come 8 months and suddenly because of Jared Leto he's $50 maybe dont wait if you were hesitant to get one.

Remember when Thunderball was 'supposedly' a pegwarmer (my area only ever got Piledriver). And then Hasbro was like hey guys we're completing the Wrecking crew. Man I wish I could've got him.

From D23 by artist Andy Park. Apparently he does a lot of the concept art for the MCU.

Check out the shadows on the wall behind them.

I like the poster suit for BW so I'm hoping we get a figure. I'm almost positive we will but it remains to be seen whether she'll get her own wave or just an Avengers wave featuring her movie figures.

yeah- fingers crossed here it's not a joke. It says 3pk so thinking it would be like the NewMutants- One body with 3 heads (so you could either go where the look the same if you buy 3- or give them each their own look like they did later on) Would LOVE that

I'm quite happy if they release the Stepford Cuckoos. They were one of the best creations of the Morrison era, and I like them in Gifted. Plus possibly another civilian outfit to alternate heads. They were not high on my list of wants, Magma (on fire), Tessa, Selene, Deathstrike or Deathbird are way higher for me.
At Canada expo the Hasbro guys were asked if they would do a male body for the rest of the New Mutants-Cannonball, Sunspot and Cypher, and they didn't see opposed to the idea, thou those two are always coy about confirming future releases so, time will tell.
But for sure this might be my favourite ML year will all the 80th ann stuff, New Mutants, Alpha Flight, X-Factor, and of course all the X-Men stuff.

The listing in the Walgreens systems specifically state Stepford Cuckoos so I don't think it's the New Mutants 3-pack.

I'm also keeping in mind that Super Skrull that's been listed in Walgreens systems for like 3 years so I'm not getting my hopes up too much until we see them revealed.

They must do Wolfsbane in her 90's X-Factor costume, then the 90'S X-Factor team will be complete.

I mean it looks like there are enough characters on that poster for her own wave.

Natasha, Yelena, Red Guardian, Taskmaster, then add 2 comic characters and maybe a Crimson Dynamo
