Just snagged this bad boy at Target, in a random spot only one they had. Pretty much my most wanted set or figure of the year so I'm amped.

Has anyone here received a PM from Williams int with his gmail and phone number? He says he has some Figures I need but I am getting a bad feeling on this.

Ran into Big Time Stealth Jedi Ninja Iron Man today at Gamestop, and while I wasn't impressed by the production shots for the figure, I did like the way he looked in hand, so I ended up grabbing him. I have no particular attachment to this look, but I LOVE this Iron Man body mold, and will probably continue to buy it in whatever wacky color scheme they decide to give it.

We've already received this figure a couple of different times, so there's nothing new to report on it. On a side note, I really dig the paints they used for the repulser blast effects, but the hands that hold the sword were a super lazy cop-out. Hasbro didn't bother to paint or sculpt the armor details on the back of them, basically making them just normal hands casted in the same color plastic as the figure. Lame. It's an easy pass for most unless you're a fan, but it's still a pretty cool looking figure. Plus this mold rocks.

Finally got around to putting together a head for Rahne. Was difficult finding a look that I liked and works, since her hair is usually depicted as something close to a crew cut, but after finding some images of her with a slightly longer bob cut, I thought that'd be the way I'd go with it.

This was another figure I wasn't too high one when they were unveiled, but in hand, I found myself really liking the body mold. I'd like to actually see it incorporated into an Ultimate X-Men base somewhere down the line, since most of the X-ladies were teens when that book started. It's not perfect, and the gals required a little bit of work with a dremel since the heads sit REALLY high on the neck (especially Wolfsbane) but I'm really pleased with how they came out. I've thought about doing a metal leg for Karma...but most of the options are a bit price heavy (and there's no way in hell that I'm chopping up a NECA T-800 figure) so I think I'll just keep it classic unless Hasbro decides to take another shot at it.

I can't speak for others but my Targets have not started clearance pricing the 80th stuff like Walmart has, although in both cases everything but the MCU packs sold out at full price anyway.

Anyone at NYCC? I was thinking of a Q/A question for Sideshow. Had they ever considered "Life Size" busts for the Celestials? They're slated to be thee next big thing in the MCU's big franchise (The Eternals). Imagine how cool the Celestials' huge busts would look - next to small action figures.

Karma could be wearing a pants and a boot over her roboleg too.

Also would be a great question to ask Hasbro at NYCC - if a Celestials collection can be included - in the premium roleplay helmet series.

Shit!! My Walmart’s within a 8 -10 mile radius never even got the 80th stuff much less their “exclusive” 80th Captain America or the worthy cap!! They just started getting the Caliban wave.

Same. I volleyed around three different stores trying to find the 80th stuff, none of them even got it. Called another half dozen stores, none of them ever got in the 80th stuff either.

I ordered a couple on-line and was lucky to find others. Can't depend on brick and mortor stores. This is not the late 1970s or early 1980s.

I found the War Machine Punisher at Gamestop today. The box was a little damaged so they gave me 10% off which was nice.

I saw Agent Anti-Venom, stealth Iron Man, and Giant-Man at Gamestop today but none of them struck my fancy at their given prices.

So are we expecting anything major for NYCC? At this point I'm really hoping for them to focus on some killer box sets and things that are just cool for the community.

One more year that's as quality as this one was and my fear is that after that there is only 1 direction to go from there.

This has been one of the richest years for ML Figures. Very Expensive year this year.
