Got back from Comic con. Got grey Hulk, Maleficent/Sora, couple Star Wars and and couple of Figmas. The only stall that had Dani, would only sell one per customer, which I told them it was crap. I ask this girl and a guy if they could please get me another one if I give them cash. The girl was about to say yes, when the guy said he couldn't help. Hell he couldn't even talk to me, he was so socially awkward. And I'm quite shy, normally. I even offer them money.
I would have done it for anyone. I was so dissapointed I just went elsewhere. I have two more fron Honk Kong coming, anyway.
No new announcement yet. I think the presentation is on Sunday.

Surely between the three European shows (this one, france and Italy) we will get the reveal for the BAF for Spider-Man and F4 waves. I can't imagine how much longer they can draw it out before dropping for preorder.

Found 3 Dani's lastnight at one of my neighborhood Walgreens (North M'Boro). The store manager actually checked the back for me. He was wildly helpful and pleasant. He stated that many times if there are ML figures on the shelf they will not put out anymore. Even if the shelf isn't full. He told me all of our area stores SHOULD have them by now. He recommended asking an employee to check the back if they aren't on the shelf. Happy hunting!

Help me out. Where did this rumor originate? It seems VERY far-fetched.

Rumor/speculation - I remember reading it several months ago on Fwoosh, something about there being a major push to get as much as possible produced between 2019 and 2020 as the license was "up in the air" - paraphrasing and no idea where the source originally came from.

We know the current license ends at the end of 2020. it could be as simple as it's not finalized beyond that, but both parties intend to renew, or it could be more serious than that.

It's a rumor that won't die down I don't think until SDCC next year, when Hasbro would presumable start showing what's coming in 2021.

When I make my comments about it I try to make it as clear as possible it's just rumor and speculation, because we don't know if it's true or not at this point. They have been producing a ton of stuff though.

Here's a thought: until we gave concrete evidence stating anything, let's just not mention the rumor and avoid the panic that comes EVERY TIME it's brought up.

Not directed at anyone in particular, just a blanket statement.

From the new Giant Size X-Men series that was announced at MCM. Hopefully Hasbro makes a figure of Jean's new costume soon.

That is some serious fanbait trolling there.

Oh, I gotcha. Not to go down a rabbit trail but, I was thinking they were churning out all of the new stuff to avoid additional costs associated with tariffs incurred due to the U.S./China trade dispute.

I'd REALLY like to get a Classic blocky Nimrod. And Rasputin and Cardinal from the new House/Powers of X books. Those were some of the most enjoyable X titles I've read since...ever.

Yeah it's a nice look but there's some things I don't like about the story that make me less invested from here on out. For now.

Lucky. My local Walmart just put out a bunch of Cull Obsidian wave figures and two Misty Knights. Was kinda surprised to see her.

I was at my local Target earlier today, they still have 5 Misty Knights at $15 each but they were willing to drop Polaris down to $5. I also saw the Bro Thor wave Captain America at Gamestop but that one's a definite pass regardless of price.

lol nice score. A loose Heimdall I bought on Ebay this Monday, arrived yesterday. It didn't dawn on me that it wasn't available until I was perusing BBTS and reminded that is was a part of MCU Bro Thor wave.

On another note, but still pertaining to BBTS, there's a plethora of MCU figs with deep discounts on the website. Many items are reduced by 10-20%, but there are about as many (maybe more) that are 37-40% off. Even the MCU fig heavy waves seem to suffer and are discounted, while much older comic canon waves are still maintaining value. Additionally, the MCU pre-order Pepper/Mandarin/Iron Man 3pack is 25% off, but that might have more to do with how abysmally late it is.

I wonder if Hasbro shot itself in the foot by skewing so heavily on MCU tie-ins in the absence of a TRU. Sans a huge retailer, one that represented 15% of the overall toy-sales market, I wonder if Hasbro's having difficulty reaching kids influenced by movie-brand-awareness. Leaving a glut of merch on sites like BBTS where canon collectors shop in larger numbers (I have no evidence of that last bit, or any of this outside of an anecdotal observation - just speculation). Curious...

Initially, I was only going to get the Iron Man. After looking at each figure and deciding I could kitbash Valkyrie and Heimdall, I went for it. Iron Patriot is great. I tried putting a Cap head from Infinity War on the new Cap but the neck is too long. The Enchantress head fits on Valkyrie almost perfect. Just need new hands. Replaced the head o. Heimdall with Bro Thor and his left hand with Cap from Infinity war to make a MCU Odinson. Bro Thor needs a beer bottle.
