I found 3 Dani's today on the shelf at two different Walgreens. I initially picked up 2 but decided later in the day to pick up a third since the costume is actually pretty sharp looking.

I also picked up the Love Triangle 3 pack.
  • Wolverine: It's the Tiger Stripe Wolverine so there's not much to say really. It's a good figure but I think the blue is a little too dark. The yellow used on the figure is actually a VERY close match (if not exact) to the FA Wolverine from the Hulk 2 pack. If you put the non-battle damaged head from this set on the FA figure, you'll have a pretty nice GSXM #1 Wolverine.
  • Jean Grey: Ugh, I hate the non-ponytail head. I get what they were trying to do with her expression but it doesn't look right in this scale. Thankfully the ponytail head is an improvement but I don't think either of her head sculpts look as nice as the alt. heads included with Dani Moonstar. Like Wolverine, I think the blue is too dark for the figure.
  • Cyclops: I never understood the appeal of the jacketed Cyclops but I'm liking this figure more than I thought I would. Unlike the other two, I think this darker shade of blue works really well for Cyclops and is complimented by the bright yellow on the figure. Surprisingly, all of the straps are a better fit on this version of the figure but I'm probably still going to glue them. Hopefully, Hasbro will re-release the non-jacketed version in this dark blue/bright yellow deco.

^Nice pick-up! Planning to go out looking for a couple extra Dani's tomorrow. After looking across multiple sites, she really appears to be hitting in more force now. Also, did you get the 3-pack through GameStop?

No, I picked it up from Dorkside today. However when I was at Gamestop last week, one of the guys who worked there told me they expected the 3 pack to arrive today. You'll have to call your local GS since the site still has it listed as preorder.

When I found the Dani's, one store had several on an end cap while the other had them in the regular Legends section. I've seen several people post that they've found her on the end caps so be sure to check both places in the store. Also, both stores I found Dani at also had some Emma Frost figures.

Looks like Demogoblin is the BAF to the Soidey wave. Glad we are getting it...but disappointed it's a repaint of the other goblins with a different headsculpt (which looks really good) and a slightly larger glider. It's something that easily could have been released on it's own, especially when that wave is so soft.

Looks like we are getting an updated comic Winter Soldier as well. Hard to tell, but the fuzzy pics so far makes it look to be borrowing a lot of the original figure's sculpt, with new hips. Kinda disappointed...but if that is all that is changed, at least I can still stick with the classic 2 pack version.

Great. Demo goblin and Winter Soldier are not must for me, so there's more money for something else.
Btw, I see the price of Dani Moonstar is going down en eBay. I will wait a week and get two more for Magik and Magma.

Stop at GameStop, and picked up gather new Stealth IM and the Havok/Polaris 2 pack....Very impressed with the two pack, in hand Havok is great and Polaris, to me, is better! Hasbro really did nice job on this set, surprisingly!

Note: When are we going to get a Mark 2 Iron Man?

I'm so glad for the choice of Spider-Man BAF. It's NOT a bad figure at all, but I'm perfectly happy with my toy biz one as it's not a high profile villain and for toy biz quality, is decent enough. I'm just hoping the next wave's BAF is Stegron and has more characters I want in it.

Sorry for those who were hoping it was Armadillo. i know I mentioned it a while back that was rumors/speculation/wishlisting for some, but that's how rumors often go. Unless it's that one guy...recktangular I think? His sources tend to be about 90% correct.

Is that due to anti-scalper hysteria? I figure a scalper wouldn't bother asking what's a reasonable price.

He does have the gauntlet.

This is probably the only way I can accept that the Netflix shows are canon in the MCU. It always bugged me that the Netflix characters acted as if the Avengers were relatively new entities even though the Avengers had been in existence three years prior to season 1 of Daredevil.

I’m hoping for some kind of news this weekend on a continuation of MCU figures, especially the Endgame line. We are so close to a complete Endgame collection and we’ve had no news on a potential Final Battle Thor. A Mark 85 with an infinity stone hand, blade, lightning backpack, and RDJ head would be so nice too. Broken Shield Cap seems like a no brainer. Miek and Wong are also needed badly. If we don’t get them now, they probably wouldn’t get made until 2021 when their next movie appearances come out, and the line may be over by then. A Chitauri and Outrider set is also a pretty good need for this line, to army build the Thanos side. Speaking of Thanos. A new left arm with no Gauntlet would be a great pack in for a figure down the line. I’d say all that is pretty essential. The next figures I’ll mention at least already have figure representation, but a Final Battle Captain Marvel, Rocket, Nebula, and Jumpsuit Hulk would be great. A Kraglin figure with his fin and a Howard the Duck pack in would be awesome, but nowhere near likely, at least until GOTG 3, which again by then the line may not exist, at least from Hasbro. Super long rant, but just hoping for any kind of announcement about past figures. Maybe we will get something at Toy Fair next year, but I figure that will just be the 2020 movie figures. Give or take a few villains, Odin, and the Warriors 3 we are so close to being done with Infinity Saga figures and I think it would be a shame to leave the line incomplete. Anyone else?
I'm pretty sure will see most of these guys in the coming years.

Just saw that we're getting an updated comic Winter Soldier. Somebody up there must like me. I was tempted to get the previous release but it's hard to justify paying 3rd party seller prices.

It's also going to be a mess to find the single figures, because from what I've been seeing since the SDCC reveals, everyone's wanting the same 2-3 figures.

Same here on Demogoblin and Winter Soldier. I was hoping the BAF for that Spider-Man wave would be something skippable, since the figures in the wave weren’t speaking to me. Glad that is the case.

Conversely, someone just trying to help out a fellow collector would know to just charge cost plus like 5 or so dollars for time and effort + shipping. Plus, it's well known that Vamp is just Tomax (a notorious troll) under an alt. account, no idea why though...

Well son of a fucking bitch. I wanted Demogoblin, but I'm not buying a wave that is mostly video game alternate costumes for him. Why the hell is he a BAF?

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I pre-ordered this set in-store at a local GameStop. Haven't heard of anyone getting theirs fulfilled yet, so I was hoping. Also, thanks for the Dani tips!

Maybe because people have targeted both accounts? I'm certain there are more than a few people that consider me to be a troll, between my counter to the grain opinions - candid, unvarnished, and often cynical comments - references to politics - and dust ups - yet I don't get a scintilla of the treatment either of those accounts get. At this point, I think the shark's been jumped and whomever it is deserves to participate without the jeering. Just my 2 cents...nothing new there! Ahahaha!

Looking at the two reveals:

Demo Goblin- No interest at all for this BAF. Which is disappointing, yet also a relief.

Winter Soldier- I'm so down. Don't have the first release, so I'm glad to see him back in the line. Guess it's safe to assume he's the first comic reveal of the upcoming Black Widow wave. Can't wait to see more!

Technically, this wave only has one strictly video game costume. The other Spidey figure being released is of the Spider-armor Mark III costume, which debuted in the 2012's Ends of the Earth comic storyline.

Think it's just a happy "coincidence" on Hasbro's part that the costume showed-up as a skin in the game, so they could add it in to the wave under the new Gamer-verse subtitle of figures.

Obviously, to get you to buy the video game figures, duh.

(Also, "mostly" is two figures these days, huh?)

Anyway, pass on Demogoblin for me. Y'all can have the BAF pieces I get from Shang-Chi and White Rabbit (and anyone else). Probably a pass on that Winter Soldier, too. Looking forward to the MCM London reveals tomorrow though (really wish they'd done another country-themed reveal and given us Guillotine, but I digress...)

Also, the last couple days have been good to me after being in a funk from a payroll kerfuffle from last paycheck. Feeling better already.

Nice score! I'm patiently waiting for my Havok/Polaris to ship from Dorkside. Jealous though of those who found it already.

Amusingly, the plan was to go put in a preorder on it, but when we walked in, they had a set on the floor. So bonus!

Now I just gotta get two more Danis...

I was at the Walmart store yesterday when i was out of town and they still have Avengers Endgame figures still pegwarming along with some Thanos Infinity War build a figure stuff.

also the two pack of Luis and Ghost is on sale for 13 bucks at the Walmart store that I went to. I have no need or use for Ant Man movie character figures but 13 bucks not bad at all I guess

For some reason I was thinking Superior Octopus was a game costume. Either way, this is a wave that is a waste of money for me as I don't care about the Liu Kang wannabe nor the Trix cosplayer.

I'll probably take you up on the offer to get the Demo pieces you don't want.
