My Legends Collection, Year 1... =) new arrivals show up almost daily, so updates will be popping up here and there, and I'm always looking to replace certain figs with the best version possible while trying to avoid duplicates. 6 inch figs are fun...

Classic costume shelf (Just completed today! Funky Scarlet Witch is only a stand in for now though...):

Has there been a confirmed sighting of the latest (punisher) wave of these in mainline retail or is it still people getting them online and in comic shops? I have yet to see these where I live at all.

Wanted to ask you about the material that you are using to hold up most pf the figures. Looks like modeling wire, somewhere in the lines of a 9 gauge?!?! (may be too thick??)

I use a variety of different wire types depending on who I'm making a stand for, what position they'll be in, weight of the figure, etc. The default for Marvel Legends figures is usually just regular wire hangers, but for lighter figures, I sometimes use 16 gauge galvanized steel wire. For MU figs, I go with the galvanized steel or aluminum craft wire.

After the X-Force release of this figure (which is we already knew was the same mold and accessories as the TRU 2-pack) what were you expecting to be different about the variant classic red suit release that was announced months ago? I'm confused by your surprise at this. Although the only real difference, which is stupid, is that his gun doesn't have a Deadpool symbol on it like the TRU release, otherwise the figure is the same.

I feel yuh, i have come close to buying all the Klaws Hopes and Iron mans just to clear the shelf so walmart/target/TRU will order the new waves. Funny they didnt order any for a long time, now they have so many they cant sell them all.

New to the forum! Love seeing everyone's collection. I've been collecting legends myself since 2003. Mainly MOC but now that I've run out of wall space moving to loose only with a few exceptions. Managed to snag a complete Ares BAF last week for 45 dollars! Again, glad to be here.

You lost me, now. Are you saying you really can't tell this is exactly the same figure as the TRU pack and you have the X-Force version (which are the exact same molds and accessories)? Otherwise, I'd have to agree with warmachine in that just based off the pic from SDCC 2012 that it is pretty obvious. I don't even care if it's a lighter or darker shade of red, it's still the damn classic red and black costume that's so sought after amongst collectors and sucks for those who shelled out big bucks on the TRU pack off evil bay but is awesome for those who can finally have an affordable shot at getting him (unless they grab from the one ridiculous eBay seller currently auctioing him off).

I can't honestly look at the pic on this link: http://www.toyark.com/news/san-diego...-legends-6088/ and say that its not the same as the TRU one besides knowing my X-Force gun doesn't have a Deadpool symbol on it like the TRU one. Just my take.
