lol yeah, I hear you. In my opinion, the whole concept of "black" and "white" Brazilians revolves around a similar distortion of history, but not being Brazilian myself, I'm largely ambivalent.
My only point was that there are many Brazilians that consider themselves to be white (roughly half, actually), but I now know you are aware of that fact... And tbh I didn't even start considering the Afro-Brazilian aspect when the conversation started, I was thinking more about indigenous Brazilian peoples that have adopted Latinx/Portuguese styles of naming. I guess the case could be made for either when it comes to Evo Magma.

I guess "European/Euroethnically white" would've worked as well.

![]() ![]() My Pulse order arrived today. For the most part there's not much new to say about this one since it's just a repaint of an already excellent figure with a new head. The new head is fantastic though. Hasbro did a great job portraying the Grey Hulk's brutish, more animal-like features like the larger brow, sunken eyes, and taller lip. His eyes are a nice shade of green although without direct light on them it's not easily seen. It's almost hard to believe that this is pretty much exactly what I wish-listed back when I got the Hulk and Wolverine pack in July.

Checking in to see...has anyone seen any updates or movement on the Jean /Cyclops/Wolverine 3 pack from Dorkside? I know when it was ordered it wasn't due until December, but so was the Havok/Polaris 2 pack and I got that over a week ago. So I"m not really complaining it's just...weird?

I'm theorizing that they could use Kingpin's limbs with a new torso to give us Joe.

Had a hairless 3-pack Jean head lying around after my Phoenix kit-bash, so I decided to heat & pop the hair-piece off of the Juggernaut wave Phoenix and try it out. I actually really like the look of this combination of parts. The curls and waves in the sculpt really hit home the aesthetic of 90's Jean.

Going back to the conversation about Walmart exclusives, I'd say don't sweat it. Every one that I wanted showed up in stock (online at least) at some point. The Luke/Claire 2 pack never showed up in any of my local stores and was even hard to find online. Now it's been picked up by several outlets and is usually less than $30. People also complained the Corvus/Loki set was also hard to find online for the longest and now its a regular fixture on the site. Binary Captain Marvel was a no show in the States for months and now it's $10 online and is pegwarming hard in one of my local stores. I figure Power & Glory Cap will follow the same pattern. If you visit the Virginia Beach area, stop by Toymeister in the VA Antique Mall. I brought in 8 boxes of figures, vehicles and statues to sell. Walked out 45 minutes later very satisfied. It was cool to see them post pictures on their FB of my stuff up for sale already. They have a lot of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, GI Joe, Funko pops, video games, wrestling, monsters, classic toys, comics and graphic novels.

I'd be nice to get a new Blackheart. Maybe a Spidey wave BAF? A legends Mephisto berth would be cool also...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll even take a remake of Blackheart's cinematic human avatar... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
