I think I saw one or two of the figures at a Walmart once. I know I ordered the whole wave from Walmart's website because they were, like, $10 or less each.

Same, I saw a Lone Wonder man at my local Walmart that was it. I know 5 below got stuck with a lot of Cap Britain and eels after that.

Alright, so the wave did technically make it to retail at some point. The only one I really wanted was MCU Scarlet Witch and I was interested in Wonder Man but I sort of gave up on finding them in a store and the Witch's online price was still bonkers (I don't know if it ever settled down) so it was a happy day when I went into a Walgreens and saw two cases of the wave. I passed on actually getting Simon though, the final figure just didn't work for me.

$10? I remember when Amazon had a few of them for less than $5 for quite a while. Distribution dropped the ball on that wave.

Like I said, $10 or less. I think most of them were $6.

Beautiful work! Whose lower legs and boots did you use for Danny!!??? They are perfect

Took long enough, but I finally managed to acquire a few Moonstars. Four, to be exact. Between those, some randomness from my fodder bin, and some so-so painting by yours-truly, I've been able to kitbash at least all the females.
![]() I ended up custom building/painting a body for Wolfsbane. She should be noticeably shorter than the rest. There was no way to accomplish that with a factory Dani body without potentially destroying it. Besides, I only had four to work with. The torso and forearms are Retro Black Widow. The ab section, hips, and quads are X-23. I really dig my Magma kitbash. I hope Hasbro will release an official one before too long, in her full fiery form. For now, this’ll do. ![]() |

![]() A local Walmart had an entire case of the Demogoblin wave and an employee was kind enough to get it out of the back for me, this store's employees are in general pretty cool compared to my other local store. The only one I wanted was Vulture and he's pretty good. Not great since they kind of half-assed the striping on his suit and the wings are clearly sculpted for Falcon. On the other hand though his head sculpt is awesomely old and creepy and I think in general his colors are well done. One thing I'm very lukewarm about is the alternate head with the cap/hood-thing, it's still clearly Toomes with all the wrinkling and features but I associate that headpiece more with Blackie Drago.

Lucky. Not a single Target, Walmart, or Walgreens has anything Spider-Man or FF related around me yet.
As for the Draco head, yeah, I don't get why they made him old looking.

Thanks! I made Dani's legs from spare parts. I'm pretty sure they are from Black Cat (Kingpin). It's hard to tell in my crappy photo, but they're slightly longer than the others, giving her a little extra height. The fringe is repurposed from a Forge I got super cheap. I had to cut a chunk from each fringe piece and glue them directly to the leg. Then I painted the boots by hand.

And before someone says it's a generic mural of Spidey...its an actual image of Spidey from one of the Raimi films, which features a costume that shares very little similarities to anything that Holland has worn in the MCU...so there would be no reason for that universe's residents to depict him as such. The aforementioned cameo makes everything even weirder...since the word "murderer" is scribbled all over the poster, hinting this film takes place in the MCU. So many questions...color me interested Sony... Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 01-13-2020 at 11:13 AM.. |

I thought it might've been a stand-in or something and they add a Holland picture in digitally but I guess it could be there on purpose. It is quite intriguing.
Regardless the teaser was cool but the special guest star at the end would've been cooler if it was Doctor Strange instead. |

As interesting as that cameo is...what I want to know is...what is up with Tobey's Spidey being on that poster! Easter egg? Or hints at a possible Multiverse?

Not gonna lie......I'd love to someday see a Spider-Man movie that brings Tobey, Garfield, Emma Stone (as Spider Gwen) and Holland together. I'd lose my mind if they got Nicolas Cage to actually play that live action movie's version of Noir. |

Add Oscar Isaac as 2099 and I'd actually go to the theater to see that.

Jared Leto is pretty much ensuring that I won't be seeing Morbius, or at the very least won't see it any time I have to pay for it.
I'm fond of his music, but everything I've seen involving him as an actor just makes me grimace, at best.

I really felt like he could have been a great Joker, had that entire Suicide Squad movie been sidetracked by all of it's awfulness. It didn't help his case that he was immediately dismissed due to the character's awful design, which gave him an uphill battle on ice skates before the film was ever finished. "This Is War" from 30STM was one of the best albums of the last decade. That album's cut of "Hurricane" (the one WITHOUT Kanye West) was hands down my favorite track off that album, and both the song and the accompanying music video/film stick with you long after viewing. @Black Arbor Funny you mentioned it...One of my local Walgreens has had a Morbius sitting on the shelf for God knows how long...and as I went by there today hunting for Cuckoos...gone. |

I'm not particularly a huge fan of Jared, but he's done some good roles. I felt he was pretty good in bit roles in Fight Club and American Psycho, and I enjoyed his performances in Dallas Buyers Club, and the last Blade Runner film.

Walmart had a ton of Gamerverse Spideys only. Are they shipping cases of just them?
