Check out the Walgreen's in Lakeview on Broadway north of Addison. They still had a few last week.

Where do you get it is just an additional backup story? It says they are doing an extended edition, which means they are adding new scenes to the story.

Either way:

A really fun wave of characters with the only miss being a couple crazy Spiderman suits of armor (which I'm sure some people love!)

Sorry the pics came though so LARGE... PicSay makes me go through the PC to load them to Flickr..

Stand is great. love the effects. REALLY wish it would have been done with Nightcrawler rather than White Widow. Maybe a re-release of Legends Nightcrawler, half painted plastic/ half clear pink plastic, with teleport & bamf smoke accessories that plug into stand. That would get a 2nd purchase of the mold from me so fast it'd make Man-E-Face's head spin.

I absolutely can’t wait to get it I’m a bit biased because I’m a huge MCU and specifically Black widow fan. Love all the extra accessories as well

That is a great idea! I hope when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness(what a great title) comes out, we get a deluxe figure that mirrors how powerful the Sorcerer Supreme really is. In fact, every MCU film moving forward should have a deluxe figure. Thena, Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange, Thor. Goodness!!!

I got a bunch of stands already so the appeal of this figure's stand is nonexistent for me. But to each their own. I wouldn't mind if they gave other characters this treatment. A comic War Machine with a bunch of blast effects and a stand would look AWESOME!

Yes, I put a frame around the picture to keep it safe. I framed my friend of treason to marry his fiancee.

Why?

Anyway, teh effects of that Widow set look amazing. I'll pick her up on clearance.

Be careful removing White Rabbit’s umbrella from the packaging. The handle snapped right off mine.

No worries. Yeah, your name was a dead giveaway and I'm also a big fan having been aware of the anime and manga even before buying the game for my import Dreamcast. Band of the Hawk, baby! We'll ride to hell and back with one another!

...albeit with only three of us surviving, if you can call that survival.

That is like the most inelegant action figure flight stand I have ever seen. Maybe it is built to hold heavier figures too though.

Agreed. The effects are a bit useless as well given that they peg into the base. I appreciate the effort but Hasbro will hopefully improve. Just removing the pegs for effects would be a great improvement imo. I understand why they did it, at least, I think I do, but that one element reduces the utility of the explosions considerably.

Edit: On second blush, I see that only some of the explosive effects are pegged, which is a relief, but also an oddity.

Well so much for self control. I was in Target and came across these guys:

I just don't want to pass up on Demogoblin and with him being $80 on the secondary market, I might as well just spend the extra money to get the entire wave.

I'll probably do the same with Fantastic Four after I get my Demo.

Initial impressions are Vulture is awesome. Not sure why they have Toome's head instead of Draco's wearing the helmet though. The wings stay in a lot better than I expected. I wish they had done that with Darkhawk.

Liu Kang is actually really cool. The different hands give him a lot of different possibilities.

Superior Spider-Man Ocotopus Version whatever the hell he is sucks ass. The tentacles can't even stay in the backpack piece. I wish I could just sell him off, but no one is going to want this turd muffin.

I've been thinking and it could be taken from the '67 cartoon. In that series Vulture wore the headpiece and was never given a real name, but he sounded like an older man so it could've been Toomes rather than Drago.
