The Super Skrull on the other hand? Came out GREAT. Really love having different display options for this guy. But now....I want more Fantastic Four villains. Doom, Super Skrull and Klaw simply aren't enough for my shelf and this first Fantastic Four wave was a pretty damn good wave so I'd like to see another wave tackling some other versions of the team + villains. Hoping the Negative Zone suits or Future Foundation are next. ![]() |

![]() Nice haul! Still no luck in finding the Cuckoos, myself. Went ahead and just bought one online for a little bit more than retail, just to tide myself over until they hit my area. |

The Living Death that Walks does need a remake, but the old one is still fresh imo...

@Captain Nash - When I said classic 80s Rogue, I meant her classic green suit when she first joined the X-Men (which I think she also wore in Secret Wars too), with the short hair. But honestly, any new version of Rogue would be cool. I'm shocked that Hasbro hasn't made more figures of her, given how many costume changes she had. I'm lucky I have two spares of the Juggernaut Build-A-Figure Rogue still never opened in the box, including one of her without her jacket due to a factory error so she just has the jacket sleeve arms. The over-pricing of Marvel Legends figures for characters like Black Cat, the Jim Lee Cyclops, Green Goblin and the modern costume comic version of Electro these days on Ebay and Amazon are ridiculous.
@ariellagunas - I'd also love to see figures of Betty Ross and Rick Jones. Maybe they could do two-packs of Betty with Harpy and Rick with Marvel (or is it Mar-Vell?) or A-bomb. I suddenly regret not writing those the first time around. Sorry. And yes, Doctor Octopus did have an Armani suit. Just read any of Erik Larsen's Spidey drawn Sinister Six stories or Mark Bagley's Doc Ock from "Web of Death", where Marvel pointlessly killed off Doc Ock just to make Kaine seem like a bigger threat than he actually became. I'd just love any pre-slowly dying/Superior nonsense version of Doc Ock with bendable wire tentacles. Not having bendable tentacles still baffles me after the lame "static" tentacles the otherwise-awesome 2018 Doc Ock figure came with. Personally, I never let go of any of my Jameson figures. I especially love the Toy Biz one from 1999 or so when his desk turned into a Spider-Slayer. I stopped reading Spidey (and Marvel) once we went into the "Sins Past"/"Civil War" unmasking/"One More Day" nonsense and, aside from "Renew Your Vows" and a handful of 616 comics, I have never bought a main comic regularly since. I'm curious as to which other Legendary Riders that Hasbro will make and reveal. Maybe they could at least repaint the 80th anniversary Captain America and give him his motorcycle. I'm just hoping that we see some of our recently-voted Top 10 wants or long-overdue, fan-requested characters like Crystal or Quasar finally get made into all-new figures. Yikes. I think Gamestop just raised the price of the latest Spidey and FF wave Legends figures to $29.99 each. They must really be trying to make up all that lost used sales revenue with collectable sales.
So far I've seen everyone except Cuckoos and Doom. And I'm glad about the all white Moon Knight rumor... happy I didn't buy the black and white version now. |

The minimum wage for a large part of the country just went up. When you're paying everyone 15 dollars an hour to start, you can expect prices to rise as well.
I've defended Gamestop's prices in the past...but even I will admit...30 bucks for a legends figure is ridiculous. |

Though, if some high school drop out is now making $15 an hour, why the hell did my wages not go up? I make $16 an hour with a Master's degree. I also don't get why the prices are going up at all as Hasbro said they wouldn't have to raise them now that the oil thing was settled.

That defies the whole point of raising wages then. The point of it is so people can actually afford to live. If they're raising prices, then they're just resetting the problem, which also shows how greedy these companies have become.

You raise wages, you raise prices or kill competition. Living wages are more political mumbo. No company is required to pay what housing costs are. Starter jobs and fast food jobs are there to build the skills to get better jobs, not promote mediocrity. The fries cook or Walmart greeter shouldn’t make more than a trained welder.

There's a lot of stuff being conflated here as having a direct cause and effect relationship, when the truth of the matter is that it's just not that simple.
I'm not sure if people have noticed, but online retailers have been adjusting Legends pricing in a manner that reflects the secondary market and highly sought after figs, and this has been happening independently from any 'Push for $15' initiative taking place in various states around the country. It's very possible that Gamestop has caught on, especially since their business model is predicated on the secondary market for games. But, that said, I'm not going to hazard an uniformed guess as to why they're going this route. Jumping to assumptions and cherry-picking culprits for some market dynamic without engaging in any serious effort to understand or even learn about the bigger picture results in skewed perceptions and susceptibility to political manipulation. I don't work in financial news/publishing/intelligence anymore, nor do I have access to tomes of 'empirical research' (this is where you go for real peer reviewed research sans spin or bias) via LexisNexis work subscriptions, but here are just some quick links to research and reporting on the matter that debunk some of what's just been tossed out in a few comments - one is from the Upjohn Institute (if you follow this stuff, you know who they are) and the other is from Forbes - an Opinion piece: report on peer reviewed research, with abstract linked https://www.upjohn.org/research-high...-higher-prices opinion.. https://www.forbes.com/sites/timwors.../#188ee4c25ec8 Take away what you will, I'm not trying to convince anyone or change minds - just trying to avoid empty statements that don't reflect reality. Anecdotally speaking - so think grain of salt here - both my rents were marginally successful entrepreneurs. And, as some may, or may not know, small business owners are the number one source of employment for most Americans. My Pop retired from contracting roughly 10-15 years ago and he believed firmly in paying workers fairly. He paid unskilled laborers $15+ per/hr back then and skilled laborers $20-$25 per/hr. I respect him for that. He took less but got more in a way - they worked really well and their craftwork showed. The idea that it cannot be done, especially for large companies, is frankly bullshit from my own personal experience. I also helped with the bookkeeping from time to time, giving me added perspective. Even still, I extend this info as anecdotal, meaning find out for yourself rather than spouting what others TELL you... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 02-02-2020 at 01:29 PM.. That's disappointing. Recently, Gamestop has been the only reliable source of Marvel Legends in my area. I've bought more from them than at Target & Walmart combined. With the price jacked-up as such, looks like that'll come to an end.

Found She-Hulk today:
![]() Not sure I'm going to keep her, but I'll see if I like her more after taking pictures of her. If not, for sale she goes, assuming anyone wants her by then. The only figures I would willing pay $30 for are First Appearance Storm and a Romita Sr Spider-Man as long as he had tons of accessories including web wings.
