Anyone finding the Odin wave in the Houston area? I've been running to my Targets everyday but nothing yet!

Got my order from Amazon and Toys R Us! Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Sentry, Hawkeye, and Thor.
Now I need Machine Man, Iron Fist and some more BAF Parts!

Well I stopped by toys r us this evening looking for and finding remnants of the Odin wave...2 Hawkeyes,1 Iron fist,1 Machine Man and 1 Sentry...only problem was ...all the BAF parts had been stolen!! WTH??!! Talk about desperation.

I left empty handed and feeling very deflated!!

The Target closest to me had a single Odin wave figure: Thor.

Terrax Wave Thor.
With Blob Wave King of Asgard Thor's Mjolnir.
And a DCUC Hawkgirl Mace in place of the BAF leg.

Ya know, People who do that parts swapping and return or just plain stealing shit just urks me to no end. If you need to go do that kind of stuff then MAYBE collecting figures is the wrong damn hobby for you.

It's all illegal too. If you return something for your money back and it's the wrong item, it's illegal. Stealing part of an item is still stealing. When I see incorrect figures in the package, I bring it to customer service. I have said it before, I'll say it again. I caught a dude trying to do it red handed. Called him out in front of the customer service people. He was pissed, but it hasn't happened in a while in my area. Maybe he stopped or just moved to a different area. Either way, people who do this are freaking scumbags. As an adult, I know not to buy the incorrect items, but parents and little kids might not know.
I know it sounds like I'm ranting, but this really pisses me off. And I hate when people try to justify it. "Oh the prices are too high so they asking for it to be stolen". If it's too expensive for you, then stop trying to collect. I'm sure (or at least I hope) no one in this forum does this, and I thank you for that.

Its also pointless, since you can typically just sell of the extra bits and break even or get stuff super cheap anyway.

Example: I just bought the Target 3 pack for $30 on clearance, but I just wanted Ms Marvel's head and Cap's extra head for customs. Well, put up the three figures (keeping those heads) on eBay and after fees I made $0.84 profit AND got free heads.

The GotG legends wave: I bought 4 cases online, sold off all the extra figures (including built groots) and got my set for free (though I did sell off my Nova and IMs) plus an extra Starlord, and I think I ended up $30ish after fees (plus the free figures).

So if some dirtbat is willing to steal the BaF parts and risk a shoplifting conviction but just isn't willing to put in an hour of *LEGAL* work for it... Well, its just sad.

It just steams me when I see that sort of crap going on. Stealing is stealing. One could say "it's just plastic" or "it's just toys" but it's still against the law, cutting into profits and giving honest collectors the middle finger.

Another Thor? Oh dear....On a positive note, whomever posed that Iron Man did a good job. I think I will actually hold on to it when I order the set for Thanos. Thanos is the Baf, correct? There have been so many wave discussions on this thread that I'm actually confused now....

HAHA, I was getting ready to make one also. Only thing I had figured on using so far was the Annihilus Wings and some sort of Lizard figure. I only have 1 wing so far. Long way to go.

So questions. Do the legs from the new Odin BAF fit the Ares Torso? Are they the same mold? Could the Arms work also? Might be able to throw together a cheap(ish) Ares if the Arms and Legs work.

They don't. The Ares Torso requires legs that already have a ball joint on them with a peg that can plug into the torso. Odin BAF legs are "female" ports that need to plug onto a ball joint.
