I reorganized my X-Men villains shelf today and had a realization. Hasbro needs to turn their attention toward X-villain ladies. My collection only begins with the Infinite series, but I have all the X-related figures they've put out since then, and Dark Phoenix and Mystique seem to be the totality of their evil X-lady offerings (unless you count Scarlet Witch). That's pretty sad, considering their total X-output.
Come on, Hasbro! There's plenty of source material: Destiny, Spiral, Amelia Voght, Lady Deathstrike, Frenzy, Phantazia, Deathbird, White Queen, Tempo, Callisto, Lady Mastermind, Selene, Goblin Queen, Unuscione, Vertigo, Nanny, Cassandra Nova, etc. |

So I finally had time to play around with the stand BW came with and tested it out on a few figures. First off, you can do a lot of fantastic things with the likes of Vulture, Dark Phoenix, and even Hobgoblin with it. On the other hand, it's not so great with either Magneto nor Silver Surfer. The problem with SS is his board drops too easily while Magneto's cape makes it impossible to even attach him to the stand outside of one position. That's a let down, but kind of expected.

As part of my unemployed custom making frenzy, I am looking for the left hand from Peggy Carter. Does anyone want to sell or trade me the left hand or a cheap junker Peggy?
Thanks. |

@drkain try a obitsu stand, the only down side i have found is that you have to build them your self. They are pretty good for any figure, from the original ms.marvel (3pack) mold to the hyperion mold in terms of size. The stand comes with multiple parts so you can choose the height, how many clips you want to hold the figure, as well as back pegs.
they also come in 5 packs on amazon so if you buy one and want more then it's worth it because it works out cheaper. It works for silver surfer, i think his board design was flawed. I would buy a deluxe one if they gave him magnet feet and made his board completely metal. Like the series 5 toybiz one |

When I first got Obitsu stands I also thought having to build them myself was a downside, in reality it's a strength because it makes them so customizable. I've got one specially assembled to hold Silver Surfer and his board, one holding up Snowbird while Shaman is floating beneath her, and 8 others holding up different flying characters.

I’m having fun. I prefer Bandai Tamashii stands as well. They hold up my Marvel and Macross toys nicely.

Thanks, bud. I went with a few coats of high gloss on the eyes. Really creates a nice effect. Builds them up, ya know? I saw a by Sideshow (I think) like that and really liked it. The teeth and mouth have 1 coat of gloss.

LOL...Getting his Simmons on. I like that it only took 2 hours (not counting the drying time). I'm really impatient so that's always my hurdle. "Thin coats, bro! don't rush it." -Citadel painter that taught me the process.

Getting back into Legends after a few years. Talk about the change from the rough time period to the releases from last year and this year. Just building my X-Men collection up at the moment. I have some Walgreens exclusives (Thing, Silver Surfer, Mr. Fantastic) for trade and i'm looking for the X-Men that i'm missing in case anyone wants to trade. Specifically looking for Beast, Sabretooth, Bishop, Omega Red, Mystique, Archangel if anyone happens to have them laying around and needs the ones I have.

Shipping label for my Mach-1 and Leader created, should be here not too many days from now. Really looking forward to getting some more new figures. But grateful to be getting any at all right now.
