I feel like the lack of reveals probably stems back to the fact that quite a few of the rumored waves coming out this fall were movie related and ultimately pushed back to next year. Eternals, Venom 2, and Morbius were rumored to have corresponding tie-in waves at retail according to Rektangular.

@redfox - That's true. I'm curious if with all of the TV series and movies delayed that Hasbro would likely have to release more comic book and animated series based figures. I personally wouldn't mind that one bit, as I'm a fan of the classic comics, the old Fox Kids Marvel TV series and the retro Toy Biz waves. And Hasbro has plenty of non-MCU comic storylines and past TV series to choose from to keep Marvel Legends fans busy in the meantime.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that's gonna be an option. With the way things are, I think Hasbro will only be able to offer what they already had prepared to release. They've mentioned many times before that the window of figure design to release can take up to a year. Any releases they started planning now wouldn't be ready until the next year.

Venom wave will still be coming out. It's the "Venomized" figures that tie in to the Venomverse run of the Spiderman cartoon. Nothing to do with the Sony movie.

Can't find any evidence of a Morbius Marvel legend. He just got a figure recently.

Like I said, rumor has it that there were supposed to be movie-based figures actually in both of those waves. The source of said rumor was YouTuber: Rektangular, a Marvel Legends collector with inside connections and a generally accurate finger on the the pulse of the line. Of course, it's all speculation until figures are revealed or Hasbro confirms.

But the only new things shown in the live stream were the Con exclusives. Everything else was stuff we already knew about. In a normal year we'd be seeing the last planned wave of this year and figures from the first two or three waves next year

@Veronica Mars - Maybe it's due to the last waves planned were movie figures, since, as redfox said, the Venom wave was supposed to tie into Sony's Venom sequel for its October release date and The Eternals was due for release in November. Both films now have new 2021 release dates, but that's two of the three reveals delayed with the movies. And this certainly has been anything but a "normal year", so I cannot fault Hasbro for the lack of reveals at this point.

I do hope that in the meantime, Hasbro uses the time to finally make long-awaited characters and teams into Marvel Legends figures and more retro waves since the M.C.U. is on hold for the foreseeable future, regardless of the design-to-release timeline and wait.

On the other -- I was really, really, really, really, REALLY hoping for more. They said July was going to be big, but the only big reveals were the Sentinel and the Hellfire Club. And anyone hoping for anything non X-Men related got nada except for a possible Stilt-Man Build-A-Figure tease. We already knew about the FoX-Men and Deadpool reveals, aside from the Old Logan and Old Xavier "Logan" two-pack, and everyone is rightfully livid that the Storm/Thunderbird two-pack pre-order sold out to bots and scalpers in micro-seconds.

I'm hopeful the next big reveals are not X-Men stuff. I'm hoping for Spider-Man, but I'll take other retro, Iron Man and/or Avengers news and photos too. And I'm hopeful other Marvel Legends reveals happen sooner rather than later.

And as a P.S., I'm glad to see I'm not the only 'UHF' fan here. That's one of my all-time favorite films.

Considering I doubt NYCC is happening this year either, they'll probably show us 2021 figures around then.

I'm still wondering if there really was going to be a Morbius wave or not. I just don't see Hasbro doing a wave around Morbius characters like Martine, the Caretakers, the Devil's Fire, and Daemond. If anything, it would probably be more like a Legion of Monsters wave with Werewolf by Night, Ghost Rider, etc.

That's true, Eternals has a February release date now, but usually there's a Spidey wave at the end of the year/beginning of the new year, and though they probably can't show us MCU figures, they could show us the comic figures in those waves

I hate thinking the world is still going to be canceled in October

Correct. They start work on those things well in advance of the films and shows being out (which is how we end up with inaccurate figures like Cull Obsidian or Endgame War Machine; Hasbro often has to start design work before filming begins), so time and money was already spent on sculpting and whatnot before the delay.

Any comic figures being released early now were likely already done or at least being worked on.

At this point, no convention should be allowed for 2020. Too risky thanks to the blunderheads who made the 3 month long quaratine go to waste for those that were following the rules. Hell, physical contact for school shouldn't be happening either, but apparently it's okay to send children to die as long as it isn't a politician's son.

God damn I wish Captain America was real.

With things the way they are, it seems that Hasbro has opted out of the one-time-only large, main-stream event setting in favor of the smaller, monthly Fan First reveals. I'm only assuming this pattern will continue for the upcoming months and that Hasbro will make any new reveals during these smaller events.

My school district is opening up like normal on August 17th. I told them I do not feel comfortable working for the first several weeks, especially for a measly $120 a day (for me, anyway, other subs might only be at $100). Not to mention they abandoned us back in March and now expect us to be willing to work during a pandemic).

Definitely miss the big con vibe with all of the reveals, but with all things considered I'm completely down for monthly mini-cons, like the Fan First events, for the time being.

Actually, they're different. One is a compound bow (it has the pulley system). The other bow is a recurve. Why they're different may be that he had different bows in the Old Man Logan series and Old Man Hawkeye series.

Any chance you could do a comparison shot with Jackman Logan and an MCU Cap (preferably Power & Glory version)?

Well I can't say I'm not dissapointed with no more reveals but I completely understand. INn spite of the circumstances, This has been a great year for Marvel Legends and I can only assume 2021 will ROCK! Here's to an X-men classics line before the end of the year!
