New Marvel Legends/6" Appreciation Thread

Went to Sawgrass mills mall yesterday ( very big mall outlet mall ) while just walking around, i happen to walk into the Toys R Us outlet in there. apparently the All Father wave is in full force here in SoFla. i seen quite a few there. still no hobgoblin wave though

by the way all these pics of Beta Ray Bill, i would like to to get a Legends version or MS version of him

Those of you that are finding the Shield 3-pack at TRU: are they plentiful? And what's the price? I want to pick up two but the closest TRU is about 45 mins from me.

Maybe they'll put it up online soon. The X-men pack from last year is still listed online

Found a SHIELD pack yesterday as well as the new Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider Woman. Great stuff!

$50. Mine had 6 on the shelf, but i'd get them as soon as you can because unlike the All New X-Men, it's a great set and I can see it going off shelves pretty quick.

Regarding the TRU three pack, is the Maria Hill different enough from the Black Widow figure to warrant picking up the whole set? I was thinking about just getting Coulson on Ebay.

And that is a custom Astonishing Cyclops, and that was once of the very first customs that I ever made. That is still one of my favorite Cyclops costumes.

Great idea! Especially since the figma/figuart stands go for about £30 on Ebay it's best to make your own.
That Cyclops is awesome by the way, the colours/build is much more accurate to Cassaday's art than the factory made one.

Got the 3 pack today at the TRU in Valley Stream, NY (Long Island). it was 54.99.

Coulson is amazing.

Nick Fury is mostly the same garbage body as the first one. Black shirt instead of grey, slightly different skintone and has the hands from the Red Skull.

Maria Hill is nice. Much better in person than pictures. She shares BW's upper arms and legs from the thigh swivel down. Torso is all new and belt is now a separate piece but its actually connected to the holsters that still have molded guns. Hip movement isn't really limited but it could stress the straps over time.

Yeah. I'm glad we went on an adventure that day cause if I found them at Carle Place (my local one) it would probably be like 78.99 or something else batshit crazy.

Man you guys are lucky to have found these in the wild. The TRU's around my area are pure garbage. Their employees are some incompetent. Even with a bar code they have a hard time locating items and forget finding exclusives there. It's extremely difficult. I hope I get lucky and find a couple sets (one for display the other left in the pack) and not have to resort to scambay. Man those guys are complete cons. 80 bucks + shipping for a set? Insane. 13 dollars shipping yeah right! I charge the actual shipping cost when I mail stuff priority mail is no more than 6 dollars using your own box as long as it doesn't exceed 70 inches in girth you're good! These dudes wanna charge me 13 bucks! That's not the worst of it. There's this guy already selling the Maria hill head for 30 bucks! WTFudge!!!!

That's why I gave in and found one for a decent price on ebay. 20 over retail for me ain't bad when the nearest TRU to me is almost 2 hours away.

They were always up as "coming soon" and have not yet been available for sale.

I posted at 6:44 PST, it is strange they would have sold out that quick, but maybe the first shipment was a really small one.

Sheesh. They were out by 8 something. Couldn't get a single one, but now I have the web R number so I can just call and check the local TRU. Unfortunately they say NOTHING is at the distribution center so that means nothing any time soon. Sigh...hope this doesn't become a rarity. This is in Southern CA by the way.

I am hoping it ends up like the last Target set where it goes on clearance for $30. Then even if some cannot find it in the wild it could be snagged from Ebay for less than current retail. Personally I would love a couple more of them as I am already thinking about the possibility of customs using the Coulson and Maria bodies and head swaps. It is still early in the distribution so hopefully they start showing up soon.

Speaking of exclusives, does anyone have any info on when the Target exclusive is supposed to drop?

They're back up! I just ordered a set. It's free shipping since since it's over $49.
