@Hulkwummy - Pretty much what Starlord67 said: Hellfire Club goon for army building and likely an Iron Man wave since one of the Hasbro reps said "more Iron Man" was coming up soon. I'll add more Spider-Man (either the next wave and/or "TV 1" and "TV 2" for the current retro Spider-Man wave), the rest of the Venom wave, more X-Men (or at least the teased Rogue), something in regards to the rumored Gamerverse Avengers second wave, Silver Centurion Iron Man, U.S. Agent, and the Legendary Riders Hawkeye. Classic Lizard and classic Shocker were name dropped, so maybe one or both of them will get shown? There's a lot left to be revealed, actually. The question is, how much will Hasbro reveal on Tuesday?
I also agree we need classic figures for Falcon, Dr. Strange and Tigra, and more X-Men and more Spider-Man are always welcome to me. I'm curious what will be revealed when/if they make another Fantastic Four wave. Maybe we'll see more 20th anniversary "X-Men: The Movie" figures? Surely they won't have just four figures released to hype up the film and not include characters like Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey and/or Cyclops, right? I wouldn't be surprised if the current four were it, but I would be disappointed. I'd welcome new figures of Halle Berry's Storm, Anna Paquin's Rogue, Famke Janssen's Jean Grey and James Marsden's Cyclops to my collection. |

They just need to get it over with and show a vintage Rogue rerelease already. Also a vintage blue version Psylocke rerelease as well... both with alt heads. Those two figures are two expensive now on the secondary market and everyone scalping them needs to get burned IMO.

Hellfire Goon seems likely and maybe a reveal of some of wave 2 of Gamerverse Avengers. Fingers crossed for a Modock BAF in that wave with him being the main Boss. Maybe a comic villain of Kang. Maybe a teaser of a Classic Excalibur team set coming soon. |

The new one from the vintage wave. Greatest Spider-Man figure thus far!

^ Oh that's right... and they said it is not exclusives either... so no potential Walgreens stuff. I really want to know what comes after US Agent and Silver Centurion IM.

I'd really like to pickup the Storm/TBird set but i'm not going to rush to pay double what the preorder is for. I'll wait until I come across them in store, online at a fair price or those just will be pieces I don't pickup. At the end of the day, rising prices only helps flippers and forces collectors to overpay. A majority of these are not actually collectibles with sustained value so why overspend unnecessarily?

It inflates the price artificially and puts items out of reach for collectors who can't afford them. These are items that should be able to be obtained at around retail prices and collectors overpay because they NEED THEM RIGHT NOW as opposed to waiting on a preorder to come through. Most people will find what they need if they are patient enough but the NEED IT RIGHT NOW mentality raises causes so many people to overpay.

Like everything else, these will go in a box for now. I don't have room to display and I don't get any excitement about getting this before other people. But I would be crushed if I'd waiting until September and not gotten a set; in addition to the anxiety of worrying about it for the next month to month and a half. I'm sorry if this practice ends up raising the rate. But I'm not sorry for settling my screwed up biological system. |

So, is anyone who's already in on getting the Sentinel set up for selling off any of their Prime Sentinel figures (male/female) for a reasonable price? I still haven't pulled the trigger on the set (I know, there's only a week left), but whether I do or don't, I'd love to get my hands on Bastion and a couple of Primes to army-build, if at all possible.

The difference here is that these 6" plastic toys generally don't hold their value in the long term as new releases tend to make the old releases less valuable. I can certainly understand the anxiousness/nerves over missing out which is a by product of FOMO but we as collectors need to scale it back a bit when our collecting makes us anxious over not getting something. That is problematic in ourselves and does drive up prices no matter how we cut it. These prices do not tend to sustain themselves either so we as collectors are making those decisions to hurt other collectors chances at owning the same set. I will not be buying the Hellfire set for anything above preorder price and I have learned to be ok with not having something. That goes for any other Marvel Legends figure or set. IMO, other collectors really need to do the same.

I have yet to see any of the non-Target exclusives anywhere. I will go to a Target in the next state over if I have to to get Storm. I will tear apart any scalper that gets in my way as well.

I'll probably be selling both Prime Sentinel figures but i'll wait until they are in hand. I'm not a fan of that practice in selling something before I have it especially something with a late 2021 release date. I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of Prime Sentinel figures on eBay once people start receiving their Sentinels.
If you do decide to sell once they're in-hand, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Good Luck! I been chasing after the GiJoe Cobra Island Exclusives and they are super hard to find. Pre-orders sold out within seconds. I am passing on the Storm 2 pack because I am not doing this again and heavily considering calling it quits with Joes if they do Target exclusives again. I think this is the silver bullet that is going to kill collecting unless Hasbro learns from it fast. I have encountered other frustrated collectors as well while on my hunts saying the same thing.

I certainly wish you (and all others) good luck in September in securing a set. For me, it's not about wanting it "right now" it's about wanting it at all. I have high anxiety over many things, and it was 100% worth spending the extra to settle that anxiety of not knowing if I would be able to get it in September or not.

If I miss on that HF set, I’ll wait a year until secondary market prices come back down to Earth like they usually do. It will still be high, but not stupid high.
