This is how my store came to have 80th classic Caps in stock, and why we have preorders up for the Cuckoos and for the Best Buy black series exclusives. Why Walmart turned away Caps or Walgreens turned down more Cuckoos is anyone's guess... they're obviously not super in touch.
It's been happening a lot in the past month in particular - my guess is that Hasbro is using the extra stock to 'fill in the gaps' in their release schedule due to COVID-based delays. Between the Cuckoos, Redwing in the Transformers line (originally a Target exclusive), and a couple of Black Series figures (I know Wolffe was a Gamestop exclusive, and Gree was... TRU? EE? Both?), Hasbro's reissuing a number of relatively recent exclusives for a wider market.

Here's hoping this might lead to some other exclusives getting a re-release. I'd love to get at least one more Dani Moonstar, just to have a Karma (and assume that we'll get a devoted X-Factor Wolfsbane later).

Right? Like say Walmart paid Hasbro a million bucks to make those Caps, if they turn 'em away, whatever discount Hasbro sells them for is still profit for them! Not a bad hustle

Im glad hasbro is reissuing the exclusives. It hurts the 2ndary market which is good as it hurts scalpers and allows collectors to get them without resorting to scalperbay etc.
ive never seen moonstar outside of a couple local flea markets and scalper places. Hell i have yet to see moon knight or silver centurion ironman.

@Harbinger I would have sold you a Moon Knight if you wanted to buy one. I shipped back 4 Moon Knights to Walgreens yesterday and kept 2 with the best paint apps.

Wow, my brain is playing tricks with me. I just read that as, "Hoping we see a Lady from Shang-hai wave."

Anyway, my X-Factor and X-Force shelves are so weird. I have no idea who X-Factor's villains were in that era since I only read their crossover issues, so I'm not sure who I need now that my team is one member away from being complete.

For X-Force, aside from technically needing a proper Domino, I just need 3 and a half figures to complete them, Ricter, Feral, Siryn, and Cannonball's legs. I've got Deadpool for their villains, but I need Stryfe and the MLF. It's so weird having both of these teams nearly complete.

I do like how Hasbro made the tassels on Warpath be apart of the boots as opposed to those sliding down jokes they did on Forge. I just don't know what the point of his open hands are when he doesn't come with anything to put in them. I know at some point in the comics he acquired daggers, but this figure is from before that. I would have rather had some sort of open hand instead.

He comes with grip hands so he can hold stuff. You could have him hold a knife, a club, a book, or whatever. It's called having fun with your figures.

Loving my Psylocke/Fantomex/Nimrod, not loving how Amazon just slapped a SOIC on it and shipped it as is...Thankfully only one slight dent.

I wouldn’t say X-Factor really had any villains that were distinctly theirs. Maybe Random, but besides that, they fought the regular gamut of mutant baddies. Sinister, Apocalypse, Pyro, Mystique, et. all.

I wish Hasbro would make the connected tassels a standard feature (Thunderbird has them detached like Forge), it’s obnoxious having them slide down the leg constantly. It’s odd that they gave Warpath grippy hands with nothing to grip. Although not totally accurate, I wouldn’t have minded if they had included the daggers, I think they’d make a fun accessory.

No no no. Why is hand/fist accuracy always thrown by the wayside?? It is the single most important issue of our time. Give me fists or give me death.

Yeah I hear it in my head but I don’t care.

What exactly holds that thin strand in place over her nipple? Also what is the width of that strip? I believe she must have impossibly small nipples and possibly in a weird place. If I was on the panel that decided on this costume, I’d have vetoed the shit out of it. Comics never hold up to scrutiny I tells ya.

Glue, or she's wearing a skin colored body suit like figure skaters wear

They actually threw mine in a box and the packaging inside still arrived beat to hell.

Always took her costume as a full body suit with matching face-paint.

Glue! That would take some serious dedication to the look. I like the idea of her meticulously gluing the stuff in place for 90 minutes before going out assassinating and doing general villainy.

oops, yeah, I meant gripping hand. I would have rathered had like a full blown open hand like what what Beast got or like how the Infinity Gauntlet is posed.

I'd say contact Amazon and get them to give you a partial refund.

You mean Haven? Also, can't forget the Nasty Boys - they even made multiple appearances in the original cartoon! Let's see Rhapsody pull that one off!

Jesus, even a casual Google search will show you that, aside from that one image, it's depicted as white, hence being a bodysuit/facepaint combo. Even the old cancelled ML figure got that right. You're just being wilfully obstinate.

At least you received your set from Amazon. My order, that was due to arrive on Tuesday, has been pushed back to a nebulous window between the 17th and 27th...I'm sure there's a reason, but it would've been nice if they shared a few details. As it stands the decision feels a bit capricious and arbitrary.

Not complaining, I can wait, especially since I wasn't expecting this until later in the year. However, as some have mentioned, I was very happy to see that this was coming early as it was one of the releases I've wanted more.

It could be even worse...

I had a G.I Joe Classified Gung Ho picked off by porch pirates yesterday...Amazon is gonna replace him but from the looks of it...not till early to mid October. Pisses me off even more...cause I had the figure in hand at my local Target on Tuesday...but held off since be was supposed to be arriving Wednesday. A delay forced the figure to be delivered on Thursday instead, to which someone decided to help themselves to it before I could.

Porch pirates are the fucking worst. What a bunch of gutless assholes.
