I hope the Hasbro online convention also announces they're retiring that circular effects mold. Granted it was perfect for Sunspot, but damn, it's time to find something new to use for the next 3 years. Otherwise, in another year or so whenever they inevitably make them, they're going to look like really weird effects for Siryn and Banshee. Even worse, we if don't stop them now, in another few years after that, they'll try to pass that off as Marrow's power effect.

Was Karma a member of X-Fore at one point?
Have you never been in a conversation in the real world? Conversations side track all of the time but eventually get back on course. That's all we're doing. Is it physically hurting you to see a conversation go off-rails? At least we're not insulting each other or talking politics. We're having a great debate. And it's still about Marvel because we're talking about how Marvel has no problem keeping their movies in spirit with the comics while DC does not. Not to mention Marvel is willing to take risks with D rank characters while DC will not unless they can milk their bat.

What? No Feral? I thought you would be one of the people to do a custom.
![]() I've been putting it off because I still kinda believe Hasbro will do Wolfsbane and Feral. They are so close to finishing two teams and they could reuse like 75% of the same parts for both figures. I made Wolfsbane because it was fairly easy with the head and Polaris body, but Feral will require a lot more creativity with parts and paint. I think the yellow bubbles only came with X-Factor Havok. Those are some of the very few effect parts in my display, but I could be persuaded to trade for them. I am looking for some female flesh-tone arms and the jacket from Netflix Punisher currently No, the last member of the New Mutants to join the original X-Force was Dani, she joined up towards the end of the series right before it switched over to the X-Statix. Karma did make a guest appearance during the New Warriors/X-Force crossover |

Great debate that deserves its own thread. I think everyone just treats this one thread as a virtual chat room instead of how most message boards are run, hence the page count. At this point I’m just going to learn to accept it and weed through it all.

It's all about the pepperoni pizza Hot Pocket for me! I really want to get some puff pastry and make some of my own for dinner now. Homemade pizza pockets is my new craving (besides that Rogue/Pyro 2pack. I check Dorkside every day hoping for an update haha).
I just got my Nimrod, Psylocke, Fantomex 3-pack today! Mine also shipped not in a box, just a shipping label slapped on the side of the packaging. Such a strange choice to me. I really like the set! I love having a Psylocke finally as I passed on the Jim Lee version due to really hating the painted on thong look of her bathingsuit. I really dig the two-toned psychic power effects! The pink and purple really add a noce depth to them and I appreciate that it is on all three psychic pieces. Nimrod is cool, though I wish he had a little more poseability as his range of motion seems limited. Fantomex is nice too. He was never a favorite of mine but I did love Grant Morrison's New X-men run, so having another original character of his is fun. Since we have him and the Cuckoos I really hope a Quentin Quire happens soon. My favorite part of this pack is that it brings me so much closer to the ultimate goal of my X-men themed display, which is to feature a battle scene of the X-men, Brotherhood, and Hellfire club fighting each other and teaming up against Nimrod...just like in the comics! I am very excited for the Pulse event on the 25th! I already have my money saved up for the Hellfire Club pack (if I can get one) and I even have the day off of work so hope to watch it live. For me, I am looking forward to learning about more X-men related figs. Hopefully they show more about the HoX/PoX wave but Ill take info on the rumored Best Of wave too. With all the fun hints and clues, Hasbro has done a good job getting me excited for this event of theirs. Last edited by Mimicboy; 09-08-2020 at 07:17 PM.. |

I’m just going to wait for movie Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto and Professor X, Domino, and Deadpool and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Retro Kingpin, Retro Mysterio, Rogue and Pyro, Old Man Logan and Hawkeye, and Punisher and motorcycle to come in from Dorkside. I’ll wait for movie Cable to come in from Walmart.

Honestly I haven't tackled Feral yet because she would involve a lot more sculpting that I want to do, as far as a base figure I would probably use Juggernaut wave Kitty, her her upper torso and gloves are really the closest we've got to Feral. I have the arms but not the jacket
I'll trade you one yellow ring for the arms (I don't need the hands), but I want some other female ML part(s) for the other ring. I like wacky deals, so you can pick out whatever you want. Send me a PM and we can trade addresses or whatever. I don't think I've eaten a hot pocket in two decades. I think I used to eat the pepperoni ones the most. |
