yes but the preorders they reveal won't last forever. And you know it's going to be Firestar. I mean, I don't know if YOU personally want Firestar (and that's fine if you do or not) but for those who really do want her, we're' gonna wanna be on point.

Off topic and not directed at you, we are just now even more fucked as nation than we were just a few hours ago.

I'd say that holds just as much weight, if not more, than not being able to, either physically or mentally, manage the (as you said) rigorous pacing of TV filming. Which, again, is in this case a physically demanding role with stuntwork involved. Hard to compare that to a lot of other jobs, unless they are likewise physically-intensive and rigorously-scheduled.

It's not about copping a 'tude, it's about not being selective when comparing experiences. Even someone who was old-hat at that kind of work, I'd have serious concerns for their physical health if they threw themselves back into that kind of a grind with that little recovery time after back surgery. Hell, I'm sure whatever your job is, I'd feel the same towards your own possible surgery.
While I agree that returning to work so soon after surgery does seem dangerous, the biggest hurdle a lot of tv actors have to overcome is the shooting schedule. For the CW shows, it takes 9 days to film a single, 42 minute episode with the actors working 14 hours each day. That's roughly half of a superhero movie being filmed in just over a week. And when the lead actor/actress is in most of the scenes, they're not getting a lot of time off.

For a little added perspective, Elijah Wood starred in three Lord of the Rings movies and has been acting since he was a kid. But even he found the shooting schedule for Wilfred tough. The actress who played his sister on the show said she met him for the pilot and he was pretty upbeat/optimistic about the shooting schedule when she asked him about. But when her character was brought back at the end of the season, she asked him how it went and his response was something along the lines of 'omygod' and 'What did I get myself into?'.

I'm sure it will be big compared to a Legends Iron Man since it's the difference between 7" and 6" scale, looking at the Endgame figures from either company and DST's is a full head taller than Hasbro's. Bigger characters like Abomination and Juggernaut with Select figures can be worked into Legends since those big guys often have a history of getting even bigger over the years but regular sized characters can't cross that same bridge. So if DST ever does a Blob then there's a decent chance he'd look fine with Legends so long as you're okay with the more modern sized-up version.

I'm curious to see how much of a variety that Hasbro will actually show us at Hasbro Pulsecon for Marvel Legends. Spider-Man and X-Men are always definite locks, but I'm curious what we'll see for the Avengers and possibly more Iron Man and/or Fantastic Four. I'm hoping that 2021 will give us a second set of figures for both the retro Spider-Man and Age of Apocalypse waves we got this year. We have so many characters from both waves that they could still make and it'd be a shame to see them as one-and-done waves, especially since so many fan favorites from each wave need new updates. Also, I'm curious if we'll get any more of the 20th Anniversary X-Men figures. It'd be a shame to hype up the anniversary year of the original X-Men trilogy and just give us figures for Logan, Mystique, Xavier and Magneto -- however, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened. That's basically what Fox did with the X-Men film series itself.

Also, I'm hopeful we'll see if the leaked/rumored figures for classic U.S. Agent, Jim Lee costume Rogue and Legendary Riders classic Hawkeye end up being shown as confirmed figures or not. If they do have pre-orders, I'm most excited for Firestar (who isn't?) and J. Jonah Jameson. I'm hoping Black Cat is in her classic costume, otherwise she's a pass for me.

P.S. Briefly off-topic, but it still has to be said - Rest In Peace, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. So sad to hear she passed away. God, I hate 2020 so much.

Is Target like the only retail outlet that is selling the Punisher motorcycle? I haven't seen him anywhere... one of my Targets has 10 Squirrel Girls, so I'm thinking I will never see Punisher at that one, but my other Target has zero Legendary Riders... so I guess that is my best hope... to keep checking that one.

None of my Walmarts have carried the riders line since the first wave but that could just be my local experience. I had seen some at Gamestop back when that was a place I could regularly check but I don't know that I'd consider them retail in the same way that Walmart and Target are.

^ It's weird because Rider Punisher doesn't even show up on Best Buy or Gamestop's websites while all the other Legendary Riders did before. Also my main LCS went out of business last month... he couldn't survive the current covid economic situation, so that is another hunting spot gone. And I don't even check my Walmarts anymore for toys.

Preorders sure, but we don't know if they will start preorders for anything on those days at all. My guess is everything being revealed was supposed to be shown off at SDCC and is not going to be released until early next year.

I don’t collect modern outfits/ characters or alt universe stuff, so AOA & HOX doesn’t appeal to me (except for the Marvel Girl I think is likely for the HOX wave, that I’m over the moon about).

Mostly agree as far as what they show will be released early next year, but I have a feeling they have a few cards left to play for 2020.

And I do actually think a lot of preorders will go up during the livestream, even if they're not available for 5-6 months.

@Ultra Seven what I'm hoping or expecting to seen next week:
Hoping and expecting - Firestar, at least, given the rumors and potential leaks. I think this is actually going to really finally happen. Also Avengers Gameverse wave 1 - I'm hopeful we'll see some much needed and wanted comics villains and heros in this as well. Also a few HOX/POX promos and reveals, even if I mainly just want Storm and Cyclops out of it.

Hoping but not necessarily expecting- more AoA stuff. A wave and some packs would be great. Also a end of year multi pack like Alpha Flight was last year - they've been working through New Warriors and Thunderbolts slowly, and there's a lot of wants for Mystique's BOEM so those seem like the most likely choices for a pack like this. Morlun, Spot and or Mr. Negative from Spider-Man related product. Sersi out of Eternals wave/product.

Expecting but not really hoping - not that it's a bad thing if it's revealed, just not high on my radar - the Gameverse figures from the Gameverse wave. Unless the BAF is Atlas or Lockjaw, I just don't see my interest in buying a whole wave to complete the BAF, and I'm not really keen on the game's designs. Eternals product that is not Sersi; seriously she's the only one would want.

That about wraps it up for early next year guesses for me. I know, more X-Men geared than anything but that's where my heart lies with Marvel the most, so it's no surprise.

Here we go, now that Hasbro has done every original Claremont X-Men character but Banshee they're going to do a big Giant Sized box set with an exclusive Banshee.

Why would you say something so hurtful....

...Or they'll pull some nonsense like they did with the Psycho Rangers and give us a Life Foundation boxset to celebrate the 25 anniversary of Venom: Separation Anxiety, with Agony and Riot being exclusive to that set.

Maybe Hasbro will make it a NTWRK exclusive. That went over great with the GI Joe fans.

I also want the box to be Krakoa so it can "eat" the X-Men.

Yeah, it is some kind of app for ordering shoes or something. Hasbro tried to do an exclusive pre-order for classified Cobra Commander on ntwrk. It was a whole giant mess of advertising the wrong figure, personal information just to download the app, and the app not working. People were supposed to get the figure before it was widely released, but I don't think anyone ever got anything from ntwrk.
I think Hasbro got a ton of complaints because they responded right away. I hope that Hasbro finds a better way to deal with exclusives. I am not happy about how bots are just destroying pre-orders for Target exclusives. I feel like a crack addict checking popfindr every morning to see if Storm/Thunderbird is in stock yet. Where I live, I see Target exclusive 2-packs once or never.

Found Apocalypse at Target this morning while hunting for the Baroness and Cobra Troopers. The Rock Biceps are too much. Should have reduced the 'road rage physique for a better figure. I never understood why the artists on Age of Apocalypse gave him a cape. What a useless addition to his costume.

It's been a while since I set out to get a Con exclusive from Hasbro's site, do their servers still get overwhelmed, making everything go pear shaped?

The cape was added to give him a more regal presence. He had successfully conquered North America and was on the verge of wiping out what remained of humanity on the rest of the planet so he dressed the part of the "high lord." His AoA look in general is meant to be more silver-age since in that reality he woke up decades ahead of schedule, he's one giant letter on his chest away from being an evil Superman.

I just realized in looking over the AOA designs, AOA Storm uses the same boot design as the GSXM Storm figure, just white (or grey) instead of black. Or is it black leather that's reflecting light and appears white? Maybe it's silver?

Anyways that could be a good reuse of a unique part. Hopefully AOA Storm is on the radar. We need a short haired Storm.

SCIM is hitting South Tx as I found him at my local Walgreens here in SA, Tx. Great figure asides from the neck/head issue. None of my Targets/Walmarts are carrying GI Joe. As far as ML figs are concerned, seen the Spidey retro wave a few times of which I already got the 3 figs I wanted in Spidey, Electro & Pete. Seeing a lot of AOA figs peg warming as well & just 1 Black Tom which I'll wait to get on clearance later in the yr.
