A lot to unpack here after being away for a few days.
Staff edit: Stay on target, stay on target... There aren't really that many mainstream non-white characters hence why characters are changed for movies. Representation is important for those who don't normally see people like them reflected in movies especially super hero movies. Politics have been in comics for decades. It's as if some of you completely missed the messaging from Stan Lee and others 50 years ago. Checked 2 Targets showing stock of the Storm/T-Bird set prior to the 10/4 street date and neither store had them out. I'll wait to eventually find it or just pass entirely on it. Not paying above retail and adding to overinflated pricing. Oh and all of the modern GI Joe/Transformer movies are all flash and no substance. They didn't "ruin" my childhood but they aren't quality films at all. The Transformers War for Cybertron animated series on Netflix is pretty decent and is very original G1 friendly.

Heads up:
Removed some of the bickering from the last couple days. Some of it crossed over into actual debate about various topics, so I left some that were relevant to that, the best I could. General rule to anyone reading, no one specific: Keep your arguments non personal. An idea can be stupid, a person can't. In the scope of how we respond to each other, anyway. If someone specifically pisses you off, use the ignore feature and/or report the posts. We tend to be hands off as much as possible with modding, would like to keep it that way. AKA - please chill and get back on topic (relatively). Thanks! |

Is it possible to alter the site in some way so that the when an ignored user is quoted, you don't have to see the post? A lot of posts get quoted and it makes the ignore feature functionally useless. |

Just having fun shooting some "Fall From Grace" stuff and it really hits home that we got Silk in the Fan Poll instead of 'Raised from the Dead' Elektra! Damnnit!

Retro Black Cat is up now.
Super quick reuse of the whip and collar from the Hellfire Club. |

Well I imagine that will mean JJJ is definitely coming. Nice they are filling out the rumors and proving to be confirmed. Was there a video or just the preorder reveal?

Shipping first of next year.
I bet Amazon gets it out before then, but I preordered anyways. |

I love the reuse of Goose
Looks like they're not even using the Black Cat heels on Black Cat |

Marvel Mondays are usually just the preorder reveal and an e-mail to pulse members. Fan First Fridays are where they usually do the videos.

Just grabbed two of the Retro Cat off of Pulse. They did a much better job with this re-release than they did the upcoming Rogue if you ask me. Nice re-use of Goose, and what looks like the Jean Grey headsculpt works pretty nicely as well. The accessories were a bit light...would have loved to have seen some stolen jewelry or an unmasked Felicia head, but I'll take all the Black Cat they will give me..
Hopefully they tweak the body a little bit, particularly in the arms and hips, cause the articulation on the original BC was so awful (I loathe the Moonstone body mold) I had to perform a lot of kitbashing on the original version to get something workable. This is the Black Cat I've been waiting for. I can't say for sure, but the face sculpt looks like it might be a recycle of the neutral Jean Grey from the TRU Phoenix/Cyclops 2-pack. Anyone else see that, or is it just me?

It's actually the Ms Marvel/Warbird head from the 3 pack, that got reused for Jean and Now Felicia

I preordered her on Pulse, but I have mixed feelings. one one hand, she's on the superior updated body designs where the legs and neck can actually articulated. She also lacks the heels, harkening back to her first appearances. However, they got rid of the white furry collar. What is up with that? That makes no sense. I love the spike choker though as that is from her original appearances too. Ugh. They got so much right and yet one important piece wrong.

I already have the red Elektra, so I don't need her in white. However, I did not have a Sif, which is why it makes me mad she was not the winner whereas Silk was readily available for a long time.

I tend to agree, I have all 3 of the original releases, but I was rooting for Sif for everyone who didn't get the A-Force set

Wow. Black Cat pre-orders already sold out on Pulse.
Ha! I was a few ticks behind you (I type slow). At least I know I'm not seeing things. Last edited by tierneygreen; 10-05-2020 at 10:15 AM.. |

Preordered Retro Black Cat at Dorkside. I’ll be happy to own this version and the first release. Even with the limited articulation I still love the first release.
