I would love a deadly genesis box set. Vulcan is a major want of mine.

That would be nice. Hoping for some variety with this line, as I've mentioned before. Anyone besides all of the F4, Doom and Surfer. Oh and creepy Cassandra Nova looking Puppet Master.

During my lockdown food run I checked Target. It's funny. Zero single release figures (entire pegs were empty; I guess restock is coming soon) but they had 6 of the Storm/Thunderbird box sets.

Hmmm, that leads to an interesting thought. I wonder how much faith Hasbro and retail would put into a retro Fantastic Four line. The vintage Spidey line has about roughly 12+ verified releases. That said though, the Fantastic Four and Spidey brands are no way near comparable at retail.

Speaking of Fantastic Four, Marvel announced the next Omnibus today, which completed the Lee/Kirby run. YAY!!!!

All I want to see from Hasbro is Banshee.

Oh, and Jameson shipped out from Pulse.

Mere months ago, the guys of Image Comics reminisced on Kirby's incredible influence on Marvel, the founding of Image Comics, onto the present MCU. They talk of their excitement over the Eternals movie just to see Kirby all over again...

I had a suspicion these wouldn’t be movers, but you never know with Target and Hasbro’s distribution plan. I expect Rogue will be next to impossible to find.

^ If Rogue is coming in her own case of 6 though that would make it easier at least in theory to find... she doesn't have to depend on Gambit or the rest of the retro figs to sell out first before being reordered. Like Retro Spider-man is pretty hard to find, but not everyone else from that wave.

That's the problem, you could never tell. I am still glad I went out and got mine when I did, but I'm also relieved that had I been unable to acquire that one, I wouldn't have had an issue getting her.

I wish they would have done this with their GI Joe exclusives.

I got street-dated for the first time on Rogue today. I full expect to see my local Target store’s entire allotment on EBay on Monday.

Got Retro Rogue and Cyborg Spider-Man with Target’s sale. I’m hoping to see Retro Tiger Stripe Wolverine get announced soon since he’s the remaining of the four on the corner of the card.

If they do a Retro Jim Lee Tiger Stripe Wolverine, they need to make the ears of his mask stick out and not folded back like the previous ones.
And make him in the same shade of blue and yellow as the one from the Apocalypse wave.

^ If they make a Retro Tiger Stripe Wolvie I am gonna cry... have 3 versions of him already basically since I did a headswap on the first appearance version with the extra head that comes with the love triangle 3 pack. And I will probably buy any retro version Wolvie too since I think I will try and go for a whole team and keep them carded... which means buying white storm again on card. Ugh.

And if I see Rogue or Gambit on a peg I am not even chancing it... just gonna stash them somewhere and comeback for them on Sunday.

I wouldn't mind a Tiger Stripe Wolverine, since I was unable to get that version or the brown-and-tan costume from a few years back. If there's one thing everyone can agree on, Wolverine is one character who always sells out, especially in his classic costumes.

I'd love to see the rumored Best Of X-Men wave and have it include Jim Lee versions of --
-- blue furry Beast, with the smiling alternate head
-- Colossus, with the X on his belt buckle and better paint on his armored skin
-- Cyclops, with a red optic blast accessory, alternate head and have his costume painted like the Love Triangle suit colors
-- Iceman, that is actually well-sculpted and with ice blast effects for his hands
-- Jubilee, with an alternate smiling head sculpt and fireworks blasts accessories
-- Psylocke, with an alternate ponytail head and an alternate head with purple hair
-- Sabretooth, with a new/better head sculpt and updated body mold (he was on the X-Men's Blue Team, after all -- he counts!)

If the teaser image is giving us hints, I hope that means we'll see 2021 "Marvel Legends" figures for Psylocke, Phoenix and Doctor Octopus with bendable wire tentacles. I'd love a bendy wire tentacles figure of Doc Ock, whether it's a John Romita Sr. era green-and-orange suit version, his white Armani suit era (which would be cool), or even a classic Steve Ditko version.

I do hope 2021 gives us a few more retro/vintage Spider-Man figures to add to our collection, especially Aunt May Parker, the Chameleon, first appearance clothes Mary Jane Watson, the Shocker, Tarantula, and non-Build-A-Figure classic versions of Sandman, the Lizard and the Rhino. Also, how perfect would it be to finally see Sandman on a Retro Toy Biz card package since he was forbidden from being used on the Fox Kids animated series? Of course, any actual figures from "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures would be welcomed to my collection with open arms.

Also, I agree 100% with Captain Nash. Puppet Master is a must for 2021. Fingers crossed he gets a two-pack with Alicia Masters. More civilian figures are almost always must-buys for me. When we do get Retro Fantastic Four figures, I can't wait to buy the blue-and-white uniforms version of the Fantastic Four. I never could find the Walgreens versions of the Fantastic Four, with the lone exception of the Invisible Woman, and I am not a fan of the recent black-and-blue F.F. suits. The blue-and-white costumes are my favorite uniforms of the FF's. Also, I do hope we'll get a new non-translucent Human Torch and both an invisible AND a fully-visible Invisible Woman. As long as we get two or three villains out of it for the main release and/or as Fan Channel releases, such as the Mole Man, Annihilus, the Wizard and/or Psycho-Man, that'd be fine with me.

And Hasbro, if you're reading -- please make more Marvel Legends figures for The Incredible Hulk, his allies, his rogues gallery of villains, and his civilian characters. Thank you.

That's interesting to know, I don't recall noticing that the heels were malformed in any way. Then again, I posed her up a little, took some pics and then put it away never looking back. I remember being somewhat irritated at how tall she stood in the heels and at the vapid expression on her face. Despite being a fig I was waiting eagerly for, I just filed her away as I do with too many other figs.

Just as I did with most of this wave:

and this one...

and this one...

and this...

and...

I don't think it is, those images are all just the side of the box art from already released figures. From the top going left to right:
Songbird (Infinity War Thanos wave)
Black Widow (deluxe bike)
Thanos (Walmart exclusive)
Doc Ock (Sp//dr wave)
Hydra Soldier (two pack art)
Ghost Rider (deluxe bike)
Magneto (Apocalypse wave)
Spider-Man (it's from John Tyler Christopher but we've gotten so many Spideys it's hard to single this one out, especially with the logo covering it up)
Deadpool (Sasquatch wave)
Psylocke (Apocalypse wave)
Wolverine (Apocalypse wave)

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's just a cross section of Marvel characters, not who they're gonna be announcing at the event.

A lot of great ideas in your post, but I'd like to point out my comment was taken opposite of intent. Puppet Master creeps me out, so that would definitely be a pass, or, if multi packed, a sell/trade off figure for me.

Otherwise, carry on!

Based on the top corners of these cards, I hope to see a Retro Blue Beast, a Retro brown costume Wolverine with an X belt, and a Retro Tiger Stripe Wolverine with the yellow and blue like the Love Triangle set Wolverine. Both Wolverines should have a masked head with more spread out ears and a different unmasked head than the ones already used. I would get another Retro Storm if her costume was repainted silver.

Going back to my post and whether the teaser image's pictures were clues, I left a post on Dan Yun's Twitter and I actually got a reply from Marvel Legends' own Ryan Ting who said "Lol, we are not that obvious..." and posted a Magic Eye Illusions Gallery photo. If nothing else, Ryan Ting saw and responded to my Tweet, so that in itself is pretty awesome. I can't wait to see what next Friday actually reveals.

Also, did anyone else notice that Target's website very, VERY briefly had Rogue back in stock for pre-orders and then was sold out again? Even though I missed my chance, I'll be checking the links for Rogue and Gambit daily to see if they get them back up soon.
