Certainly, from that perspective, I get it. Marc's "Steve Grant" persona was definitely a wealthy playboy and suave, but that doesn't always connote "good looking." Money, fine clothes and impressive cars often function as enhancements that are in turn conflated as "handsome/attractive." Not that it matters a whole lot, but Moon Knight was one of the books that started me collecting monthly issues (circa the early 80's, a little before the Atlantis Attacks period) and Bill Sienkiewicz' art for "Steve" never really gave me the impression that he was overwhelming comely. Certainly he was rich and enjoyed expensive things, but I don't recall comments from random characters regarding him being an Adonis. Honestly, there's no reason Ian can't be Moon Knight, but I admit that the more I think about his face the more I get a Nightwing vibe.
Whatever, it doesn't really matter, Feige doesn't care what I think... Just like if laurence fishburn werent already bill foster i could see him as blue marvel and austin nichols as the whizzer.

Picked up a spare Dazzler from Amazon for $7 to make a 90's style Silver Sable- swapped the arms (save the shoulder joint) and hands, threw some silver paint at it and ta-da!

I like Aldis Hodge for Blue Marvel, but DC nabbed him for Hawkman... I also like Jonathan Majors, but he's also taken. But my first choice is Michael Jai White. He's the poise, the build, and is older and more naturally suited to play a character with both age and depth of life experience. I do worry about acting chops a little bit; he's often type-casted. However, what I've seen in interviews leads me to believe he's 'that dude' - thoughtful, intelligent, and not at all surface. I think he could pull it off well, reinvigorating his career and putting BM on the map as a cross between Reed Richards & Superman. |

For anyone in the Nashville area, Brentwood Target has 1 Vintage Rogue on an end cap. The paint wasn't the best but its the first I've seen since the release day.

I probably went to Target a dozen times since the 29th and only ever saw a lone Rogue once... in the middle of the afternoon... and got it... luckily the paint apps were good enough.
Of like the 20+ different toy hunt people on Youtube that I have watched I would say that only two didn't see a Rogue at all at either Target or a Canadian TRU and all of them saw at least one Gambit. That's a pretty good success rate for an exclusive IMO... and this is before any restocks. And at the same time only like five people found the Target exclusive Mandalorian with Grogru. ^ IMO the jury is still out if Rogue will end up being impossible to find on a retail peg or not. Popular Star Wars and Joe exclusives are always impossible to find though. IMO there will probably be a restock of Rogues and Gambits between Christmas and the New Year... we will see if they still sell out without the buy 2 get 1 free sale.

Found a $10 White Widow, so I couldn't say no. With the design of the head and hair, I'm thinking it might make a nice replacement for the upcoming Hox/Pox Marvel Girl maybe.

I’ve seen Rogue, a few storms, and TONS of Negative Spidey and 90’s robo Spidey at Targets in my area in December. No Gambits, which I find curious, since his last figure shelfwarmed for months.
Seen a few grey black widows and various other exclusives. Imho Hasbro has done a pretty good job keeping my local stores stocked. Usually this close to Xmas, shelves are completely bare. I think the combination of online shopping and covid have given collectors a better sporting chance of snagging these in the wilds,

Well, I got another email from Amazon saying the Phage figure will be delayed again, I think this is the third time now? So I just cancelled it. That will make two waves that I haven't bought a single figure from, ever, I think - and they're both Spider-Man or Spider-Man related. I'm know there's still tons of possibilities for that corner of Marvel, but it reinforces the feeling that I'm mostly done with it.

https://www.target.com/p/hasbro-marv...36#lnk=sametab Now that HOX/DOX wave is ordered I'm going to try really really hard to just stick to my wishlist only figures and Phage was more of a "what the heck, I'll get it" purchase. |

The alleged line-up of the Iron Man Legends wave will be Iron Man (Modular Armor), Ironheart, Ultron (already revealed), Guardsman, Iron Man (Stealth), Iron Man (Hologram) and...Darkstar, for some reason. No info on the BAF. Grain of salt and all that. |
