Shang chi movie wave 1st ? I mean we have yet to see the black widow movie to come out which won't happen for a long while due to covid, unless they finally release it on disney+ which should happen soon. Cinemas arent going to really open till a country is Covid free. I was kinda thinking there would be a movie wave drought, espically when the eternals wave got leaked, before even getting a trailer for the film.

That list looks good. I'd throw in potentially maybe an AOA wave. Their comments about the Apocalypse was maybe a choice for a second BAF for the theme makes me think they are at least "considering" it. Which, may not be until 2022.

Maybe that an a Deadpool/X-Force wave (to finish up OG X-Force) will be the X-Waves for 2022. Now that I think about it, that probably seems more likely.

If there are more AOA figures this year, I think it's more likely they'll be in a box set or as store exclusives since they'd mentioned that as another venue for completing that world.

Given it's still up in the air as to whether or not Shang-Chi and Black Widow will be opening in theaters on time, I think it's more likely the Disney+ wave hits first.

That could be. Granted I have at least 10 and probably 20 characters I'd like to see, and while I can think of a solid wave of 8 including BAF, really there's only 3 (maybe 4 if you count Cyclops) from that theme that are must haves. A box set would work if it had to be just that.

Fwoosh top 10 wishlist results are up. As I expected within a couple of days of it starting, just based on initial responses, Banshee and Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat/Excalibur) take the top 2 spots. They, along with Classic Avalanche, were the only 3 out of my top 10 that made their top 10.

Nice to see Exodus in the top 25 and Lady Deathstrike OH so close to top 10!! Surprised neither Graviton or Nefaria were in the top 25.

And surprisingly Lockjaw is NOT the BAF winner. Nor my pick, Atlas.

What was the BAF pick?

Jeez, X-Men definitely dominated this list. Then again, half of my list was X-Men related as well with Banshee being my number one pick. Avalanche and Destiny were on there too. I don't remember if I had put Kitty on it is or not since I also did a few Spider-Man dudes (and Sleepwalker).

The BAF pick was a new Blob.

Found a rundown of number of votes for the top 25 in their discussion thread.

Banshee - 78
Shadowcat - 57
Toad - 49
Rachel Grey (Phoenix) - 47
Longshot - 44
Avalanche - 42
Wolfsbane (X-Factor) - 39
Dr Strange - 36
Crystal - 31
Executioner - 30
Destiny - 29
Tigra - 29
Meggan - 28
Wonderman (Safari) - 28
Siryn - 27
Lady Deathstrike - 26
Rictor - 26
Feral - 24
Psylocke (Armor) - 24
Quasar - 23
Spiral - 23
Blue Marvel - 22
Exodus - 20
Speedball - 20
Mandarin - 18

Surprised Mandarin is so low, and again, really surprised neither Graviton or Count Nefaria at least made the top 25. Especially the latter, I really thought support for those two was picking up enough speed. Ah, I'm sure they'll not that far off.

Interesting to note: Not a single spider-man or spider-man foes related vote unless I'm overlooking something. I know there's still a ton to do, but I'm wondering if they'll already picked all the low hanging fruit from that corner of Marvel?

I have a couple thoughts on this. For one, maybe Spidey fans don’t have agreed upon priorities. Check out the discussion thread for the top ten most wanted Spider-Man villains, there’s hardly any agreement on what’s “essential” at this point. Another thought is that everyone just sorta figured “eh, we’re getting two Spidey waves a year guaranteed, they’ll get to [Spot/ Shocker/ Morlun] sooner than later.” Or they just weren’t a priority. I know for me there’s plenty of Spider-Man figures I want, but because of the other reasons I outlined, I didn’t put any in my top ten. It’s a shame they didn’t give us the full list of what everyone votes for, it would probably answer some of these questions.

Good points and I did think about that, especially the second point - I saw comments similar to "I'm sure they're going to make (such and such) figure so I'm not putting them in my vote" - which...IMO...kind of defeats the purpose of the list.

As for the first point, that's also true. There's a want of a "classic" Dr. Octopus or Shocker but what version of classic. I know there's NOT a lot of Spider-Man related figures I want, but I'm by no means the average collector when it comes to that. I could make one wave of 5 villains, and 2 spider-man variants, throw in Stegron as the BAF and be completely done with it. But there's still a call for a lot more overall.

It was still, just interesting to note. and surprising to be honest.

Looks like my wish is finally coming true this year. Looks like there is going to be an infinity saga wave in the fall and Final Battle Thor AOU Quicksilver and some two pack are gonna be the figures.( If I had to guess the two pack might be worthy cap with a broken shield and snapping Iron Man) Fwoosh posted a list which was than covered by Marvelous news.

While I can name a bunch of Spider-Man related characters who have yet to get made, I really want a Shriek and Carrion. I want to round out that Maximum Carnage cast.

I might buy Shriek just to have another female villain. Morlun is far and away my biggest Spider-Man related want. I wonder how he fared.

Same. She's not top 10 but top 20 for me. It's exciting to see her so close to the main top 10 though. and I think we'll get her, it will probably just be next year, if/when we get a Deadpool/X-Force/various X-Men themed wave.

On the other hand, and I know she's OG X-Force, but IDGAF about Feral. She gets made she gets made, if it's a good wave I'll buy the whole wave but otherwise would probably pass. I don't know what it is about her, I have loathed her character.

More number tabulations from Fwoosh and the top 10 discussion thread- this time for BAF (Thank you to the guys over at Fwoosh for doing all this hard work!)

Blob 31
Lockjaw 21
Surtur 10
Mojo 7
Mr Hyde 7
Armadillo 6

I have to say I'm surprised Atlas did not place higher in the BAF. I would have figured given Hasbro looks to be completing OG Thunderbolts that Atlas would be on more people's radar.

Also Stegron. C'mon. Think Sauron but without wings, instead has spikey plates and is nowhere near as cool as Stegron. I kind of kid I can see Stegron not having quite that level of support. And would people be voting for the classic somewhat derpy looking Stegron, the practically full on Stegosaraus Stegron, or somewhere in between?

I think out of that list tabulated, I would probably get Blob this time around. Already have the Lockjaw released last year otherwise that would an obvious buy, otherwise is passable, the Toy Biz Mojo holds up fairly well even if I am missing that tail piece.

I see this Top 10 list and I'm wondering what the point is since the Top 7 are X-Men related characters. To be honest, I had more fun voting on the Top 10 threads like Top 10 X-Men Wants, Top 10 Spider-Man Wants, etc. We got to list more characters and we got to see more variety of who wanted which figure made or re-made. Also, as I've said before, a Top 10 isn't enough for a Marvel Legends fan's wish-list. You have the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the M.C.U., retro waves, other hero waves (Shang-Chi, Iron Man, etc.), heroes who are need of new waves (like the Hulk -- hint, hint, Hasbro). When you're done with you wish list, at least half (or more) of it ends up going to the X-Men and everyone else from the various other waves get an honorable mention. Don't get me wrong. I'm legitimately glad the X-Men are getting a lot of love, especially since they've started getting more figures over the past five years. But the Top 10 list really needs to be a Top 20 or Top 30 to give other, long-overdue characters a chance. Also, how does it help Hasbro find out what fans want to see in other waves like the Avengers wave or the M.C.U. wave if most of the list is X-Men related and characters from waves like Spider-Man and Fantastic Four only get a handful of votes each?

Also, I know I'm repeating myself, but it bears repeating: I'm hoping the Wave 2 Spider-Man assortment this fall isn't mostly made of 'Spider-Man 3' movie characters. We already had a lot of 'Into the Spider-Verse' characters fill up the Stilt-Man wave and there are still plenty of comic-book-based versions of heroes, villains, civilian characters and Spider-Men that need to be made into figures. Also, considering some of the Marvel films have been delayed into 2022, I wonder if the same may end up happening to 'Spider-Man 3'.
