The only AOA characters I want are Abyss, Mikhail, and an updated Holocaust.

I think the main problem I have with the AoA wave right now is there's too many figures left to make. If you have a second/possibly final wave for it, you're bound to make fans unhappy with whoever the roster is. I know that everyone wants Rogue, Magneto, Sabretooth and Cyclops (and rightfully so) and you have to include Bishop given his role. But who would the last two spots be? Whoever is included, you'll get disappointed comments out of it: "We got an A.O.A. Magneto but not A.O.A. Quicksilver?" "No Storm? No Mystique? Just Rogue? Just one female character out of a new seven figures wave?" "I can't believe Sinister was left out! He was important to A.O.A.!" Get where I'm going with this?
Granted, they could always do more A.O.A. figures in solo releases as Fan Channel exclusives or put two or three A.O.A. figures in a future X-Men wave, but would that be acceptable? I'm all for more figures of a wave that everyone loves and wants more figures of, even if I myself don't like it. I'm curious to see what Hasbro does and who makes the cut. That said, I'm disappointed the Classic X wave isn't X-Men Classics. I was hoping for the rumored Bishop, Stryfe and sold-separately classic Magneto for retro card releases. Toss in any version of Banshee, another female figure in need of a new non-Jim Lee uniform figure (Rogue, Psylocke, Jean Grey, etc.) and the inevitable Wolverine variant and that'd be fine with me. Ah, well. Maybe next time. I'm still hoping Hasbro surprises us with more classic X-Men and of course more classic Spider-Man figures this year. Time will tell... The rumor is 6 UPC/ISBN whatever the codes are and one separate code, which may be a deluxe figure. Realistically, 4 of the 6 slots should already be taken by Rogue, Sabretooth, Magneto and Cyclops. No question. As much as I want more, ideally I'd take Storm as another slot because I want ALL the Storm looks, and Abyss and Nemesis as the last slot and BAF. But likely, they'll want to reuse Nightcrawler and this is a spot for him realistically. Leaving Nemesis as the BAF as more than likely than Abyss. Even more realistically, they'll put Dead Man Wade in, even though he could absolutely be saved for the next Deadpool wave. Deluxe figure - while I'd take Abyss or Nemesis (whichever won't be the likely wave BAF), over this choice, this is probably going to be Iceman. So predictions: Cyclops, Rogue, Magneto, Sabrebooth, Storm, Dead Man Wade/Nightcrawler: BAF Nemesis and Deluxe Iceman. Somewhat humorously, I really want AoA Dazzler though, since that look is so different than her other two looks, and if she happened, who would have thought 5 years ago we'd end up with THREE Dazzler figures. She's gotta have cigarette accessory (Yeah I'm joking, that would never happen) Okay, I know i've gone on and on about AoA so I'm going to try my very best to not talk about it again until we get some kind of confirmation it's coming. It could end up being that rumor is not true (Even though they've gotten almost rumor accurate), and it's all just wishlist talk, which admittedly I'm extremely good at LOL Last edited by Captain Nash; 01-28-2021 at 12:46 PM.. |

It's not uncommon for one or two figures in a wave to have mis-matched product codes. It likely just means one figure was originally intended for a different wave, but moved somewhat later in the process than usual. I admit that that in and of itself is potentially interesting information in such a tightly-themed wave, but remember that much of the first wave was comprised of characters who had either jumped to 616, or had 616 or Exiles equivalents with the same look, so it could just be that Sabretooth had originally been planned for a different wave, for instance (since, as an Exile, he could've gotten the Blink treatment and just appeared elsewhere), but was moved here to avoid the inevitable outcry.

No Sinister? You're just going for a Three Horsemen of the Apocalypse display?

I'd buy every one of those. Add in Bishop, Iceman, Storm, Dazzler, Dead Man Wade, Sinister, Rasputin and Damask. But most especially Storm out of that. Really would be great to get that Mystique, I love her AOA look.
And for gods sakes Hasbro no Wolverine. Also adding in Rogue, you left her out Spyne! They gotta make a Rogue. Cripes You also left out Magneto LOL. Him too. I forgot she was in the AoA! I dig that look. |

Not much but (pictureless) listings for the upcoming Avengers wave are slowly starting to pop up.
https://www.toysrus.ca/en/A6-AVENGER.../B46A2BFD.html Hopefully we get some info on these soon. |

Probably because she wasn't in the original story, just the sequel book from 2005. I personally would rather see all attention devoted to the original '95 roster, at least for now. Maybe later we could see a multipack or something with characters like Silver Samurai and Psylocke who only showed up in the sequel.

Speaking of Psylocke, I found an extra Purple hair version, for anyone interested in a trade. I'm getting excited with 3.75 inch again (PM me if your got any MU). Really love these nostalgic / simplistic new toys...

Just watched a Dark Silver Surfer review on Youtube and damn, he looks cool as hell... I like how dark he is... like gun metal black almost. It might end up being that my most wanted figs of the whole year come from Walgreens. It definitely sucks Popfindr is not reliable anymore... Popfindr made finding Moon Knight much easier for me... never even saw a Silver Centurion IM... back to checking Walgreens every Thursday and Friday for me I guess.

If anyone still needs the Walmart Black Widow exclusive, it is available on Walmart.com. It's still $20 but it is a great figure for BW customs.

I hit my local Target today hoping to find something new in shelves. While there was nothing new, they did seem to put Strong Guy wave on clearance. Picked up Sunspot for $5.

I'm doubting we'll see the full wave for that before March or even April but they can string us along another couple of reveals tomorrow. |

So far, Marvel Mondays have each only revealed a single fan-channel exclusive.
