Ah, well if it's just one figure I have no idea. Maybe they'll put the Dark Silver Surfer up for sale, though that's not really a reveal.
Was there a rumor or leak about a new Black Widow movie related figure? If so maybe that. |

Dark Silver Surfer is a Walgreens exclusive so I don't think it's likely and there was a Black Widow 2 pack rumor, but no indication if it's comic or movie based, also don't forget last month Marvel Monday got pushed to the second Monday, so don't be surprised if there isn't a reveal today

Saw the pics from Thor Love and Thunder. Kraglin has mastered Yondu's arrow I hope we might get a figure of him.

Maestro is super weak for $50 considering Red Hulk was $30. Where are the extra accessories? Could’ve included any battle damaged hero trophies.
Edit: My bad. Dorkside has him listed for $50, Pulse at $30! |

In that case I'll wait and see if Dorkside will list him at $30, it's likely just a listing error they'll correct. Or I'll wait for a sale. I want to do business with them but he's not worth $50 to me, not without any other accessories than what's shown.

I'm hoping Dorkside just made an error in having it be $50 because they're usually good about matching msrp.

I agree.
I didn't hesitate to order this one and it's definitely appreciated. However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly disappointed with the lowest common denominator outfit choice - one that required only a new head and necklace for the Hulk-bod 'du jour'. My TB version will not be retired by this one. Although not as grandiose in scale, it does make up for that with unique sculpting that set it apart from the other Hulks of the time. TB distinguished Maestro with mottled, pock-marked skin, and a unique buck that featured one-off legs and latissimus dorsi articulation (not quite as unique, being used for both the Savage and Professor Hulks)...it wasn't a simple reuse, which is why the TB predecessor will remain dear to me. The new one is nice, no doubt, but a little more effort would have been icing on top. |

That colors of Maestro's skin and pants could open the doorway for a potential Ravage figure from the 2003 Hulk movie Video Game.

Congrats to everyone who wanted Maestro, personally I'm glad I can sit this one out.
I did get some new lightning effects for Storm though ![]() ![]()

I played the 2003 Hulk movie game, and I thought it was fun, except for the Bruce Banner stealth missions.

As cool as Maestro is, I’m passing on him. Cutting back this year, as I’ve mentioned. He’s cool, but nothing I feel I need anymore. Glad to see they knocked his price down to $30. I was questioning that initial price.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was hands down the greatest Hulk game ever made. The locomotion, destruction, cast of enemies, clever and versatile fighting system all served to make it a true action-beat'em up stand-out. The developers, Radical Entertainment, went on to create Prototype, which was the spiritual successor to the game. They expressed a want to do another Hulk game, but, per usual, Marvel bid the license out to a larger developer - SEGA - that cobbled a lackluster follow up in 2008.

I played all three Hulk games, and all three were fun. I just wish Hasbro could get around making Marvel Legends figures of the Hulk Villains from those games and then some.

Good they lowered the price. I'm actually still torn. An updated Maestro is on my want list, but I'm not feeling this version of him for some reason. He's different than the classic Maestro right?
On the other hand, I'm not sure I want to have just a handful of Toybiz paint washed era figures if I can get a replacement. On the third hand, I'm not sure he'd be a replacement, and I'm going to have TB Abomination still so it may as well just balance. I'll have to think on it. |

@Wummy
Not that this is any sort of pissing match, but since there's some level of meaning you've attached to playing all three modern Hulk games...I've played nearly every game containing the Hulk since the nineties and Ultimate Destruction was made with such loving attention to detail that it makes the others pale in comparison. They faithfully captured the Hulk's scope of destructive power (as much a game could - "World - or tectonic plate - Breaker") and the locomotion employed was incredibly satisfying, as a Hulk fan. I would purposely collect as many enemies on the screen as possible for the challenge and would 'Hulk-out' so severely as to routinely crash my Xbox. SEGA, a personally beloved gamemaker, used a facsimile of Radical's engine, to their credit, however, they still fell short on delivering the same Gamma-fueled-frenetic experience. About the villains, I wouldn't hamstring any Hulk EDIT: VILLAIN LINEUP to just the small selection of villains in the three games to which you're referring. The Hulk's 'Pantheon' (heh-heh) deserves a lot better than that, in my opinion. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 02-01-2021 at 05:54 PM.. |

Man, another Marvel Monday reveal and not a figure I'm interested in buying. Lame. Or rather, that's a good thing for my wallet, but lame for my collection that has gaps to fill.

@Wummy
Your typical Hulk baddies: Ufoes, Maestro, Piecemeal, Trauma, etc. However, I wasn't referring literally to that game, I was employing a play on words. The Pantheon was the clandestine organization that Banner/Professor Hulk joined and eventually lead during Peter David's run. My point is that the Hulk's stable of enemies is far wider than the villains contained in the three games/two movies you mentioned. But honestly, this is mostly an exercise in splitting hairs. I welcome any Hulk villain, or ally as a longtime fan. How could I not? EDIT: in other news, I received my Deluxe Legends Thanos today. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 02-01-2021 at 05:42 PM.. |
