gst/pst in canada is worse pst is 10% and gst is 5%, they're switching it to HST which will be a total of 14% and apply to everything :S... plus we're losing the penny. so stuff will be rounded up or down... fuck $$

Hopefully asking this here won't be a big deal...I'm looking for a good base figure for a Deadpool custom. I don't really have my hopes up on finding a ROML Wave 3 Deadpool variant for a fair price so I'm thinking about making one just in case, and I'd like to find the perfect base body for it. It seems the Nemesis Series Daredevil would be great, but does that figure have a T-joint in the legs? I can't stand the Y-joint and would like to avoid it. If it does have a Y-joint, what other red figures would be good?

As I said, I don't like my chances on the red variant. I'll likely end up dropping over $35 to get one on eBay at some point but I'd like to make a Deadpool as a back up (and for the challenge of it). I want to buy a second X-Force Deadpool and use it as fodder, combining the parts from it with another figure with red plastic so I can minimize paint rub, and it needs to have T-joint legs.

If only. It's making up for us not having State income tax, so it's a trade off really.

In your province, lol, it's 15% in mine, lol. 10% GST, and 5 PST, but soon HST is coming into effect and everything... I mean everything will be 14% tax.

Just picked up the 3 Iron Man movie Legends figures that have the BAF Iron Monger parts in them - other than being a WTF that only 3 figures are available until FALL OF 2013!!! - really nice figures, and was very glad to pick them up.

I know everyone is pretty caught up in ToyFair-Fever right now (as am I!) but I thought I'd take a second and do a real quick mini-review about the new,
"Ultra Stike Spiderman" from the Ultimate Spider-man line (i.e. the actually articulated one)... I picked him up from Wal-mart the other day for $12 for my son who is 5 and is a big fan of the show... Pros: - Great Paint - Good Proportions - Decent price point - Rocker Ankles! Cons: - NO..F&@$ING...TORSO ARTICULATION (seriously hasbro, what is your new vendetta against figure articulation here?) - Hips are a bit restricted Verdict: Meh. Sad to say this figure really doesn't do much for me. If he had even a simple waist swivel, ab-crunch but no twist, or had been sculpted "slightly hunched" it would have been better than Mr. Perfect posture here. When Spider-man has a good amount of articulation and still cannot get into any even remotely Spider-esque poses...something's amiss... :/ Here's some shots of him in action for anyone who is interested.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I just got Red She Hulk, she may be the best female body ever, minus the lack of wasit, she has everything. She looks good which is something the Toy Biz figures lacked, and she has much more articulation than the early Hasbro female bodies (ie. Rachel Grey). Her only downfall is the big hair, but if you balance her on her ankle pivots properly she's fine.

Thanks for the review on that. Given the packaging alone I probably would have passed over this, but that sub-line seems to fit in well with the legends style. Not that I'm probably going to go for this spidey, but maybe the other two in the line.

Pic Request:
Anyone have Marvel Select Thing? How does he look with the Sue/Johnny/Reed figures from the 2-pack? Also, Marvel Select Colossus with Legends X-Men. Thanks in advance, otherwise let me know if I should move and delete into a diff thread? |

Awesome figures and shots, working on a deal to acquire those figures at some point, and with pictures like that makes me want them sooner. Awesome avatar by the way.

Got the wave 1 Iron Man 3 Legends yesterday. Pretty cool that Hasbro gave us all comic figures for this wave. Bleeding Edge is awesome BUT the left knee was assembled upside down and it was a PITA using a hair dryer and screwdriver getting the pins out and reassembling it. Thing is I had already put together the Iron Monger torso before I found out my Iron Man was gimped, so a return would've been more of a hassle. Luckily I was able to repair my figure.
Iron Patriot looks great but, like the Extremis mold, I HATE how hindered the hips are. It's interesting to see how similar these molds are to their MU counterparts, I suspect they were sculpted around the same time using CAD assistance. Same goes for the Classic Iron Man mold, which speaking of which.. I love the Ditko horns version! Metallic paint for this one too instead of bright yellow. Being that the smaller Iron Man 2 4" Neo Classic armor was retooled for Silver Centurion armor, and that we got a ML Neo Classic armor, I suspect it is only a matter of time before we see a Silver Centurion V2 ML figure. Plus...we DO have comic Iron Monger so...you can't really have that guy without Silver Centurion Iron Man!
