I seem to find them used with products that have clear cables... bought a see through usb cable from a big lots one time that had 3 clear ties holding it together in the package. Products with wiring involved tend to be a good source, mostly electronics stuff. Really, they pop up in various kinds of packages randomly, but obviously toys will always be one of the most likely places.

With Marvel/Disney pulling the FF comic to avoid giving any unintended publicity to the upcoming Fox movie (at least, by my logic), I don't see Hasbro going rogue and making toys for the flick. I hate to dash any hopes, but Marvel is a pretty important license for Hasbro and pissing them off would not make for good business. Maybe some of the other license holders like Hot Toys or Figma? Understand that I want FF figs (Silver Surfer) more than most, so I'm not happy with the lack of figs based on these characters...

By the sounds of what you said, it seems marvel doesn't want anyone to go see the new F4 film |

yeah but fox own x-men as well so why not, we have had 2 waves from Hasbro and fox has the rights , not sure what the situation is with F4 movie rights wise be nice to see some new comic editions on new body molds that's not movie costume based , like the Ronan wave.
By the sounds of what you said, it seems marvel doesn't want anyone to go see the new F4 film Honestly, I do believe that Marvel wants viewers not to watch the FF flick. Fox owns the rights in perpetuity (forever). From a business perspective, the only way Marvel might have a chance to regain the FF movie rights is if Fox finds it can't make any money on the license. I don't think reading the tea leaves on this matter requires a psychic. Marvel/Disney seem to be trying to strangle any potential profit and marketing related to FF (no comic, no toys, etc). To me, it makes sense (even if I don't like the results) to stymie Fox's FF profit margin forcing them to sell the rights back at a reasonable price point. But don't let my 'opinion' keep you from dreaming...especially considering that your wants run parallel to my own and I hope that I'm wrong about all this... You never know, but I doubt it. If I had to hypothesize an answer, X-men might be a larger license among younger demographics prompting some flexibility on Marvel's part (hence the X-Legends we've received). Conflate that concept with the fact that Fox has done a good job with the X-men license (while falling flat on it's face with FF). Not to mention the fact that Hasbro has demonstrated consistent transparency regarding upcoming figures. Outside of SDCC exclusives, Hasbro has kept fans in the loop (a vehicle used to build anticipation IMO) for all impending releases and there hasn't been any sniff whatsoever of FF properties.

Marvel/Hasbro's reasoning behind X-Men is that the property has been a benchmark financially for around 35 years. While Fantastic Four is considered sacred, the comics have not been huge sellers for years. So while X-Men comics are still a large part of Marvel's current schedule, they've cancelled the current, not great selling Fantastic Four.
Same can be said for the figures I guess. Which is a huge shame, as I don't particularly like any of the older FF Marvel Legends and would kill for Future Foundation figures on the new bases. |

@Spyne98
Yeah, Doombots are the bee's knees! ![]() @Byrnes Thanks, it took me some time to collect various FF figs that made sense together and looked good. I hear you regarding the mark-up...at the rate that the Skrulls/Kree are going for now, I wouldn't even bother with them due to the figs being way overpriced. Fortunately, I grabbed most of them before the madness (secondary market greed) set in... @Black Arbor When I win the lotto, I got your hook-up! As you can see, there are some movie figs I like! ![]() ![]() |
