Probably haha. I know some Targets have gotten solid cases of him though so hopefully we can all get one!

I 100% agree! I would have picked that up no question. Now I'm on the fence. I do want Hyde, but I don't want anyone else in the wave. Buying that Iron Man get me 1 piece at least haha.

I'm spending less money on Marvel Legends waves this year than I thought, and that's disappointing. Who knows, though? Maybe Hasbro will surprise us all between now and the fall with some more new content.
Pixel Dan spoke of a retro Xmen 3.75" DangerRoom with Dwight Stall. A great way to bring alive these hot selling retro Marvel cards (below). I just hope it's big enough for 6" collectors. I like to see big modular walls. Bigger than Fornite 3.75 tiny building pieces. Larger than even these DST diorama pieces. To sell more there should be an option of buying multiple playsets to make it even larger for 6" collectors maybe even 12" customers too

I haven't seen anyone mention this but Dorkside posted this in the Shang-Chi Legends forum over on the Fwoosh.

Quote:
FYI - we got further guidance from Hasbro today. Shang Chi along with Marvel retro 3.75 will be going up this coming Saturday night at midnight eastern. Shang Chi is in stock. Also, make plans to be around the internets next Monday....

If they're officially up for order this weekend then I'm guessing the Monday reveal is indeed the rest of the Disney+ wave. Hopefully another Infinity Saga figure too.

Way to keep XMen 3.75 playset buildable for 6 inch consumer base. Keep it simple (walls, floors). Hopefully it has great detailed textures to make it sellable to even those who prefer DIY or just printing something similar. Tiny accessories such as cameras, robotic equipment - as seen below - can likewise market it.

^ I love those Select Danger Room pieces... I only have the Gambit one, but I kept waiting for all those Select X-men to go on clearance so I could buy them just for the Danger Room, but they never did. Too bad the people that make Marvel Select don't realize people would rather just buy the accessories without the fig a lot of the time and just sell the accessories.

Also saw the exclusive Shang-chi Legends red flower dress lady at Target... there was only one left on the peg... it felt like a trap... I know the street date is this Sunday though, so I just stashed her and will come back for her on Sunday.

I don't know if anyone else saw, but Marvel released an image of the "Sinister War" 4-issue limited series/event that will be out in July. It has Doctor Octopus's Sinister Six fighting with the Vulture's Savage Six, and for Doc Ock's team, a classic villain apparently returns from the dead (and if you've read the returning villains for 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' and seen the image, as there's a large burst of light by Doc Ock's head, you know who I'm talking about). Since Tarantula, Sandman, Rhino and Stegron are all in the storyline, I'd love to see new Marvel Legends figures of those characters in either their main Spider-Man wave or the Retro Spider-Man wave (though Stegron would likely be a Deluxe figure or a Build-A-Figure). I hope we see more Retro Spider-Man figure reveals in the near future.

I was gonna post this too. $25 is not bad. I don't collect Marvel Select, are reissues common? I wonder if this means Hasbro is doing a Watcher soon.

Select reissues aren't uncommon but it's often a figure that didn't seem to sell well the first time, like they're trying to trick people into helping them clear out their warehouses. It is rare to see them reissue something as requested as the Watcher.

The Watcher is about to be making his MCU debut in a few months so they're probably trying to cash in on that.

I wish they would reissue the Select Destroyer figure (seeing how we never got a BAF version in the Legends line, true there was the toybiz variant in the MODOK BAF wave but that's the same height as a normal figure)

Snagged the entire wave on the way home from working overnights. Spotted the case being put out. Early bird special!

The head sculpt isn’t AS bad as I thought on the BAF. Shang Chi and Iron Man are double packed.

Beyond it not being my preferred look and despite my like for emotive expressions, this noggin fails pretty spectacularly. He doesn't really look angry. He looks more frustrated to me, almost like he's been constipated for days and is pinching off a granite loaf. Adding to the unintentionally comic nature of the head is the fact that the bowler is hilariously small. We can see he has a mop of unkempt hair underneath the hat. However, looking at his face, jaw and factoring in his hair...there's no way the top of his head could fit under that hat. It would be consistent with a pinhead or nimrod; a deformed cranium.

All that said, I do like the bloodshot eyes and the profile isn't as bad as the straight on perspective. It's too bad they sunk so much effort into the wrong look...

The guy could definitely use some whitening strips, Clear-eyes, and a Xanax.

That Hyde face truly is one of the worst headsculpts Hasbro has done since their grand return in 2014. I'm so glad I had no interest in the character, much less in this look, or the entire wave itself for that matter.

This is definitely not BAF of the decade. The head sculpt is terrible at every angle, and looks even worse on the body. The leg movement is restricted by the jacket. They should have done something different there instead of making the vest and jacket one piece. It essentially creates a skirt for the guy. I see why he’s so pissed.

I’m guessing this is the look they wanted, but missed the mark badly.

They definitely made the face too monkey-like and didn't add enough mass to the shoulders to give him that "upside-down triangle" silhouette. He looks like an imbecile too, isn't Hyde pretty smart?

He's a genius, but also a brute due to the serum. I agree that there is a simian nature to his look that also annoys my sensibilities.

Thanks for the pics Arch. The bowler looks less tight from that first angle. I keep going back and forth on this BAF; something about the overall pieces not gelling synergistically. In this case, the sum of the disparate parts seem to be less than the whole...I think it's my love for the character that keeps me wanting to find something redeeming.

To me this head kinda looks like a pissed hamster, something about the eyes gives me strong rodent vibes. Sadly for fans of the character I don't think he's popular enough to get a deluxe release later with a different head and packing a classic head with some other figure down the line also seems like a long shot since so far they've only done that when the head changes who the character's supposed to be.

@En Sabah

I can sort of see a rodent in there too, which lends even more to it being a cartoonish caricature of Zabo. I also think you are right about Hyde being a longshot for Deluxe Legends treatment. That said. I'd want Habro to deliver on a 2nd shot at a classic Beta-Ray before a character like Hyde...

BBTS cancelled one of my 2 orders of The Watcher so I ordered one at Dorkside with other figures.

This was a cool video using Marvel Legends Fantastic 4 and Galactus.
