I'm wishing Hasbro would expand Pulse's product availability and give more incentive to go Premium.
I'd actually be willing to order everything from Pulse if they had full wave bundles and kept stuff like the Hand Ninja, Transformers Centurion Drone, and Kang the Conquerer in stock. |

Over on Twitter, Dan Yun posted a Tweet which reads: "June will be lighter than May... A recovery month... Until July - which will be very big".
I assume that's when we'll get to see the next big batch of reveals for the Marvel Legends figures during the second half of 2021, but we'll see. I'm eagerly awaiting when the next comic-based Marvel Legends figures will be revealed. We've got to be seeing something in regards to the Retro Fantastic Four figures, the second Age of Apocalypse wave, and the rumored second wave and/or Fan Channel releases of Retro Spider-Man sooner than later, right? I saw the notification from Pulse titled: "Pay day!?" Not that it bothers me terribly much, but these references to personal finances and the attributable costs (in this case, 75 bones for the Iron Monger 2 pack) are feeling a little awkward and they might be a bit too on the nose. To make matters a little weirder is that this definitely seems to be a Hasbro marketing theme/inside joke/thing (I'm not sure) as I recall Dan Yun encouraging "saving up your money" ahead of a reveal or two. This likely doesn't bother many, and might be noticed by even fewer, but imo this feels smarmy. Just reveal the shit, don't make tongue-cheek references that remind me about how much of my disposable income I'm wasting on your wares. This clumsy dime-store psychobabble might actually rouse me out my consumerist stupor making me wonder if Obadiah is worth $75 and an MCU Iron Monger armor for which I've no use.
Stane looks cool, but not sure I'm taking the plunge for an extra suited body at that price point... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 05-21-2021 at 10:54 AM.. |

"The divine bird known as Dijiang (帝江), ... had six legs and four wings, but no eyes or facial features of any kind, living in a perpetual state of confusion. It was also fond of singing and dancing."
Or as Disney calls it: "Merchandizing". Last edited by Cyclopswc; 05-21-2021 at 11:47 AM.. |

Umm no, Rhino has never been as big as the Hulk, artistic license doesn't count. Even when the Hulk was a 7 footer, Rhino is 6'5. The Rhino from the TB line was the perfect scale & exactly how big Hasbro needs to re-do him at. |

TB Rhino is still a masterpiece...
I like the new one, but will never get rid of the TB original. |

Those punished Cap headsculpts sure are something... maybe the beard is throwing the face scanning machine off... same reason why Anthony Hopkins Odin looks off too.

Ironmonger looks great, and I would almost consider getting this if I really wasn't trying to stick to my rules about my wishlist figures only. Same for Surtur actually, 2019 me would have been all over both of these. 2021 me just can't afford to for space and money reasons.

I'd like either an in scale classic Rhino in a future Spidey retro wave or even a re-do of the ol TB armored Rhino fig, heck, I'd buy both!

^Not a fan of that Rhino nor the look it was based on, but it did mark the period in the books when his strength was significantly enhanced, which I did like...

I'd be fine if Hasbro just took the BAF Rhino and gave him a better classic head.

I won't quote your whole post, but I tend to agree. When I saw that email it made me furrow my brow. The "FOMO Warning" language in Monday's email also kind of annoyed me.
I'd be down for that. Rhino is the last Spidey villain on my "must have" list, and I didn't get in this game until after that wave had come and gone. |
