Happy day for me. Ran into Arcade and the Hood at Target while I was killing time after work. That was a nice surprise!

I’d be very surprised if we’re looking at a wave. This feels a lot more like the fan channel individual figures from 2019 (Punisher War Machine, camo Punisher, cowboy Wolverine, X-Force Deathlok, Big-Time Spidey, etc.), all of whom featured little new sculpting. Fire star and She-Hulk were already following that model this year anyway.

It would make sense, except for the fact that if they were fan channel figured I'd think we'd see preorders up for some of these already. It just feels like a wave to me, retro or non-themed BAF wave is the question.

I don't get why Hasbro feels the need to be cagey at all about how/when certain reveals will be released. We're not trading in government secrets here, for crap's sake. If you're going to announce a figure (or figures), just do it. Then, tell me when I should generally expect to be ready with my payment option of choice. I'm going to buy what I want to buy, when I decide to buy it, no matter how clever you think this "build-up" marketing strategy is.

Edit: I concede I might not represent any of the personas their marketing efforts are aimed at.

Well seeing these "Bad Guys" for the X-Men makes me want a wave based completely on the X-Men Rogues gallery! Especially Avalanche, Toad and Blob!!

Whoa. I remember stumbling upon to that lady's channel a long time ago and thinking I like her reviewing energy and style, but she had such low view counts... this should help her gain a few viewers... good on Hasbro.

I remember seeing the Sauron wave Omega Red at Best Buy on clearance for $15 and still passing on it... then that figure jumped up in price and I started regretting that decision... so this reissue helps dessolve a regret... which is always nice.

That's sad considering the after market price. I think they could probably reuse the Black Queen cape for Destiny

That's exactly what makes me think this could be a Retro X-Men wave. A lot of the past Retro figures have had very little new sculpting, save for outliers like Silver Samurai. A lot of them are redecos with maybe a new head, and when it's a new character, it's usually made from heavy reuse. I'm especially thinking this since last year Ryan had talked about wanting to do Retro X-Men villains on the purple Evil Mutant cardback, and so far most of the new reveals have been villains (or reformed ones in Callisto's case).

While out for my birthday today we stopped at two Targets. One had absolutely nothing while the other had everyone except Red Skull.

I'm curious to see what the new Wednesday reveal will be that Dan Yun confirmed on Twitter. After all of these X-Men reveals, I'm hoping to see a 70s/John Byrne Cyclops or 90s/Jim Lee Cyclops figure (with an optic blast accessory for both, of course) sooner rather than later. I also can't wait for more Marvel Legends Spider-Man reveals, but I'm sure it won't be until July when it's the next big month of reveals.

IMO they should have made the love triangle Cyke come with interchangeable normal arms like how Moira does it... that way they wouldn't have to waste another upcoming slot re-releasing Jim Lee Cyclops.

I hope Bishop doesn't get reissued, but I do hope Stryfe does.

I fear we will get Leland in the lame battlesuit on the Froggy body. Or something else quasi-disappointing and half-assed.

Maybe they’ll be smart and re-google a better image of classic Domino and redo that 2-pack entirely.

Yeah, I mainly did the swap for Hood but then thought Stan looked way better in the lighter, fun colors. I think he mixes into the comic figures better now too.
