Remember back when Owen got nicknamed the butterscotch stallion and then years later tried to off himself (presumably depressed from appearing in all those Vince Vaughn movies)? You’ve come a long way baby!

An Owen Wilson figure? Isn't that one of signs of an impending Apocalypse? Rain of toads, plague of locusts, plastic Owen Wilson....

You went pretty dark on that one, but made me laugh per usual...I feel dirty now...

Y'know I was just going to quote your comment about them shaping the 5-pack package in the form of an ass to let you know that I've been laughing about that throughout the weekend, but I think it actually got scrubbed...that shit was funny as hell. People just don't get good jokes anymore...

Anyway, I find it hilarious that the 5-pack inspired far more animus and vitriol than this Owen Wilson fig. Time to revisit the idea-lab Hasbro..

Sad that I'll get more utility out of Owen's fig than 3/5 of the Wolverine pack:

Isn't Mr Hyde more of a Daredevil bad guy or an Avengers bad guy?

Why include Mr hyde as a build a figure for the Shang Chi Movie figure wave series?

I hope the half a dozen other people that don’t have me on ignore yet got a laugh out of that one too

I personally don’t know what I’d do if they took bitching about little plastic underoos people away from me, and despite all said bitching, I fear I still have to buy the thing.

Then when I finally get it on Deal of the Day, they will decide to announce Mastermind in the Sherlock coat the same day.

And you were absolutely right, there are NO COINCIDENCES in the toy biz. That duplicitous den of asps at Hasbro know exactly what they’re doing. For all we know, Hasbro may actually be Nexus the Living Corporation. Everyone keep complaining, it weakens it!

From what I've read, the Pizza Mold body Negative Zone Spidey wasn't a big seller either.
Wait, Six Armed Spider-Man was real? I never once saw him in stores period. In fact, I never saw any of the Kingpin wave in stores.

As for Dazzler, she only pegged warm at two stores in my area. Every other store had Old Man Logan and Polaris peg warming for that wave.

I was off today and noticed there was a GameStop within 100 miles showing instock, so I took a chance on instore pick-up and made the road trip. They had at least one more instock that I knew of. Either way, she’s close to being out there.

Also, that Target in Aiken had a couple GI Flint and Jaye’s if you’re collecting those.

Pretty fruitful fig hunt earlier today, despite fighting the rain.

Oh dear...I AM 'disappoint'...Ultron, the fig I am most looking forward to, might be too small. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. I'm sure it will be fine for most, but, again, I hope I'm wrong and it's just the angle..

I've seen some other in-box images and he looks like he's the same height as Modular Iron Man in those. Hopefully we'll see some out-of-box comparisons soon enough.

Edit: well, some cleaner comparisons that is.

LOL.

Speaking of Disney Plus series, I saw the WandaVision/FATWS wave at Walmart today. Hilariously, the Anthony Mackie Captain Falcon figure is packed two to a case, which seems like an instance of severely over-estimating a character's appeal whilst simultaneously ensuring a surplus of BAFs that will never be completed.

Thanks, I have already gotten those 2 earlier on.

Hope for an Ultron wave or something

So we can get Pymtron, Janet-tron, BAF Too Many Arms Ultron, Trashcantron, 'Herotron', Comic AoU Black Widow, a redo of the Toybiz Legends Ultron, and a Redo of the Toybiz 'chained' Ultron.

Compound Hulk is coming to Walmart? I’m actually alright with this, because I’d really prefer if retail exclusives continued to follow this pattern of weird variant versions characters we’ve already gotten. I dunno how this’ll sell, but I prefer this to the likes of Red Hulk or the classic Fantastic Four as a retailer exclusive.

Looks like an easy pass for me.

Lol definitely all for a 'Too Many Arms' Ultron BAF, but I'm not exactly holding my breath. For the record I'm not a big AoU guy...slightly muddy and derivative storytelling imo.

I'd take an Alkhema and a 'Janet-tron' (Cho style) in a heartbeat tho'...

I totally forgot about Alkhema. They could probably retool Omega Sentinel into her fairly quickly for her most recent incarnation. Retro Alkhema would take some work though.

Nothing seems severely overestimating about that choice. He was the main character of the show.

That's right, she's back isn't she? Something with Machine Man and Arno Stark... I was thinking more of her design from her earlier run-ins with the Avengers.
