@flipwilson

Thanks, Flip. I'm glad you liked it, Spidey is only one of the greatest heroes ever!

@Kirathis

Thanks, man! Yeah, the missing arm on the Iron-Spider was a WTF moment. However, there are quite a few oddities with that fig. Strange omissions in articulation and the fact that such a poor fig got so many variants...

I started collecting Legends figures pretty late (right around Hasbro's Return of Marvel Legends relaunch), so I missed out on a ton of releases as well. The Marvelous News Database helped out a ton to backfill figures I missed out on though, so I'd recommend you checking it out to see what's been put out the last few years:

Wasn't it Peter Parker Iron Spider that had 4 arms and when it was the Triplets during Avengers Initiative they had only 3 arms each on the back. Hard to say, overall I think that it changed with each artist that drew it.

I just realized today, when I was working through my list to possibly set up something with the Illuminati, I don't have a friggin' Namor! He ain't cheap either! I guess I'll bite the bullet at some point on the first release because the one from the F4 wave is ridiculously priced.

Does anyone have any omissions you were surprised about in your collection at one point or another? Figures you thought you had but turns out you didnt?

I remember it being the other way around, with Peter having three mechanical legs/arms. Was a while ago, though.

I passed up that Iron Spider (and its variants) so many times, despite it being my favorite costume for him. Something just never looked right. Still, at least it actually has the spider legs - unlike the Marvel Select version, which was just a repaint of the symbiote Spider-Man.

Part of me is hoping they revisit the Iron Spider-Man design when Captain America: Civil War nears, with a brand-new comic style figure in its toyline.

You got me there man, I've never heard of that term but it sounds like it could be.

I've had the opposite happen to me. I've had figures that I think I didn't have and they appear when I clean my storage room. It's a great feeling though.

I really wish the Avengers 4 pack would just pop up on Amazon, even if it's just a pre-order.

I'm tired of trying to budget things and have this $80 purchase that I don't know when or where it will drop hanging over me.

They said Spring and all the other packs that were supposed to pop in Spring have long since done so.

Yes. Shartimus Prime says it all the time in his reviews because he uses the Big Time Spider Man figure to compare size and scale. He , like many, was let down greatly on how they did the paint app on Big Time Spidey to pull off the GLOW effect the costume had in the comics. Yet they did it correctly on the 3.75 version by just doing solid lines.

Hey guys, can anyone recommend an angry/shouting male head sculpt which would fit ML? Preferably younger male, but right now I'd settle for any. Been scouring the internet for a couple of days now but it's a pretty dry search.

Try for Banshee or any wrestler type figure

Cheers! Bought a John Cena figure. As someone who loves expression in a figure's face it's frustrating that Hasbro insists on such stoic head sculpts, which are also reused. Nothing breaks a fight set-up like a neutral expression.

Haha sounds good, and yeah it's tough not being able to get a 2nd figure to help open up!

This has happened to me a few times very recently. I was looking through my Predator collection a few weeks ago as I was putting them up to display, when I suddenly realized that I was missing a Lost Predator (Scout Predator) from the bunch, which of course ended up costing me a little bit more than I would have liked in order to secure.

Blue Marvel, how did you get so many of the stands? I have seen the I can get a bunch on ebay, but I don't know if they are good quality. Are they the ones you use, or are they official Hasbro ones? I have a few Hasbro ones, but not as many as you.

(I would totally buy some if anyone wants to sell theirs)

The ones on eBay are the original Hasbro ones. I have about 10 or so, just from all the figures in the 2-3 waves they came with.

If you and Zoffy keep posting these great pics and fixes to issues I am going to end up having to buy that Thanos wave after all grrrr LOL.

They're the Chinese bootleg stands that you noted. They don't always work well as actual stands; the pegs rarely fit the holes in feet, and they sometimes don't fit well with one another in a puzzle arrangement. However, I use them exclusively as platforms (balancing figs on them), which eliminates any need for them to function as 'proper' stands.

Thanks, dude! Yeah, the new Spider Woman is a big improvement...I now have more incentive to use these figs in pics since you apparently need nudging to complete this wave!!

Thanks Kirathis... he can sit down, but his ab crunch doesn't have a clicky point to keep his upper body at a 90 degree position (even though his ROM allows for it).

You wound me sir! Friends don't force friends to buy more Cap and Iron Man Legends LOL!

I actually ended up with Cap, Batroc and Hulk sans BAF parts from the Thanos wave as part of a lot I bought the other week. I like them well enough and would even be cool with buying another Hulk as that would allow me to customize my current one some. I want the Spider-Woman figure and would even be ok with another Batroc if for nothing else than using the extra for fodder. But damn man, I do not want another Cap and Iron Man. If Hasbro would have added two other figures to this wave and given them the same BAF parts as Cap and Iron Man I would have been all over it.

That being said, if anyone has the Cap or Iron Man Thanos BAF parts for a reasonable price, I may be inclined to purchase them.
