Also, the inclusion of faux scratches, tape, and stickers to the bottom of the packaging design points to a more light-hearted/Deadpool-ish Marvel property...

Since it looks like a roadie case my first thought is a music-oriented figure or group but since we already have classic Dazzler the only ones I can draw off the top of my head are Hypno-Hustler and Spider-Gwen's band "The Mary Janes" but I don't know that either of those would do well. Maybe I'm reading too much into the packaging.

We already have a perfect Elsa Bloodstone, and Dirk Anger's head came with Nick Fury, but I wouldn't mind a full Dirk release and the rest of the team. Hopefully that's what this set ends up as. We shall see!

Hmmm, looks like that comment about July being crazy for Marvel Legends is coming off true. According to ToyShiz on Instagram/YouTube, we should expect a reveal tomorrow and then an in-hand review on their YouTube channel:

"I won’t be revealing, but I’ll have the In hand look at the new figure, Tomorrow, Thursday, 12pm pacific, 3pm east, only on my YouTube!"

Holy shit, this thing’s magnificent. I don’t even like Venom and I gotta say, one of the coolest looking figures they’ve put out this year. And it seems from the wording of Toy Shiz’s posts that his reveal is in addition to this magnificent bastard? Most excellent.

Edit: $31.49, are they smoking crack? I mean, I’ll still get it, but that is steep. Also, Dan Yun seems to be suggesting on Twitter that more exclusives are incoming… so, maybe Eternals or something are for SDCC, and Excalibur is for Pulse Con?

That Venom is ugly. The red and blue shading is just flat out bad. It looks really bad on his lips as if he couldn't decide what color lipstick to wear so he Two-Face'd it. The only way you can ever display him is if you always have a cop car next to him. YUCK!

Less paint and plugs for the shoulders would probably have been better choices, Hasbro.
