Ha! I love Halloween, always have so they are up year round. This is actually my office, but my toy rooms are full and needed to expand. I’m working on my MCU wall next.
Those silhouettes are from Michael’s craft store….5 or so years ago. The others my mother bought me I believe at a craft fair. |

It's not coming out for another two years, so it better be PS5 only.
PS5's would be easy to get now had it not been for fucking covid.

![]() Got the Infinity Saga Iron Man mark 85 and Thanos two pack. As someone who passed on the Thorbowski wave Iron Man and never even came close to building the armored Thanos BAF (for lack of interest) I call this pack a win-win. ![]() Looking at the Mad Titan first, this is obviously mostly re-used parts from the armored BAF but what's actually new adds quite a bit in my book and not just because he's battle-damaged and has ankle-tilt now. I feel like the most substantial new parts at a glance are his arms which are quite bulkier than the BAF and give him an overall better looking silhouette. He has a new upper torso overlay piece which is sculpted to be pretty worn and a new skirt piece that accurately diverges into three ends. It's also pretty nice to get Thanos with his double-bladed sword now made movie accurate instead of just looking like a lawnmower blade. The one new part I don't really care for is the alternate "dusting" head which just looks more like he rolled around in the mud and then let it dry up on his head, it's okay though because he comes with three other heads that are all well done. While I certainly would've liked an alternate right forearm without the gauntlet, everything else this figure comes with makes up for not getting that. Paint apps are overall fine with a good deal of areas now painted in the dark grey that the BAF left gold and there's actually a second richer gold applied to select parts of the armor. The grey weathering effects on his torso could probably have been done better but as is I think they work alright to help convey that Thanos has been having a pretty rough day. ![]() Iron Man is just excellent. The Robert Downey Jr likeness is incredible, he has a lot of good accessories (although I'm not a fan of how the shield piece is equipped to his arm), and the paint apps are all nice. My only nitpick is that I'd maybe have liked for the red of his armor to be a little darker, more like the red on Thanos' gauntlet, but that's it. I feel like I have a lot less to say about this figure than the other half of the pack but that's because it's just a clean-cut case of a really solid figure.

^ I was watching some reviews on Youtube and it seems like the only thing wrong with that IM is that the RDJ head is kinda huge.

catching up from the rumors from Marvelous News that Darwin and Siryn will be in the (first? I'm assuming there will be two) X-Men wave for 2022. I wonder who else. Unexpected for Darwin, but it'll sure be nice to get Siryn. Fingers crossed that's early 2022 - I know, we don't even have AoA wave 2 out yet, but I think by now everyone's aware of my hunger for X-Men waves.

I did have to think though, if Siryn is in this wave, would it make more or less sense for Banshee to be in the wave? I can see arguments for it being less and more likely. Feral would make sense to finish out OG X-Force. I have zero investment in the character so I don't actually care for myself if we ever get her or not, but I do understand people wanting to complete that lineup. |

I'd love a Banshee, Nash. He's long overdue!
Also, anyone see this yet? We're getting a Black Costume Spider-Man on the new body. |

I wonder if that Symbiote Spidey will be part of a box set.
Either way, if Monday is a full on reveal of great Spider-Man stuff, it will be a nice prelude to my wife's surgery that afternoon. Quote:

I'm down for Siryn for sure and let's hope they decide to use this wave to complete our teams so we get Byrne/Cockrum Banshee, Feral, Wolfsbane, Avalanche, Destiny, and Blob in it. This way, we can finish off Giant Size X-Men, X-Force, 90s X-Factor, and Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Darwin from the comics and from First Class are essentially the same person, though visually slightly different, but yup that's the one. Your lineup would be fantastic. It would make sense and finish a lot of teams, therefore Marvel will probably space those out between 3 to 4 waves, while continuing to give us a Reaver every year, and introducing one Acolyte and Starjammer yearly. Because money. |

Syrin would be amazing if true! Darwin is ok as well. I did collect all 3 of Peter David's X-factor series, and they are still some of my favorite X-men comics, even if I have soured on him in general. With all the kind of hints from the Hasbro team about how the wings/capes were the hard part to figure out for characters like Banshee and Syrin I am kind of surprised to hear one of them might be popping up soon. Unless they pull a fast one and just do Syrin's first X-factor dark green corset and cape look.
I also just found out that Disneyshop has taken out the money for my Rictor/Domino/Cannonball 3 pack! I have not received any shipping confirmation yet but hopefully it will come soon. Its nice to be anticipating an arrival again instead of just placing pre-orders. Quite surprised to get this pack before even the Quicksilver figure I pre-ordered, but I love the X-men so I am down. |

@Dr Kain - I hope all goes well with your wife's surgery. I hope she makes a full recovery when all is said and done.
I love, love, LOVE the Black Costume Spider-Man Retro figure! I can't get over how much I love the smaller eyes on the mask! He's slightly taller than the Retro Spider-Man, but I can live with it, and all of the alternate hands are a nice touch. I hope we get a Retro Classic Spider-Man re-release with some new accessories within the next next year or two, such as a Peter Parker civilian head, wall-crawling hands and/or a "wavy-lines" spider-sense accessory. I'm curious as to what other Retro Spider-Man figures we'll see in the near future. I'm still hoping for new Retro carded figures for the Chameleon, a bendy wire tentacles Doctor Octopus, classic Lizard, classic Rhino and classic Shocker as possible candidates, but we'll see. |

My Pulse order of Ultron and the Stane/Iron Monger pack arrived today.
![]() I had been sitting on my Dorkside pre-order since April but when I saw Hasbro had Ultron in stock themselves I went ahead and got one through them instead. As with Dr Doom and Kang last year I feel like this a near-perfect figure of a classic villain. I like the Kirby-crackle effect for his "mouth" even though there are few instances of it leaking out like that in the comics that I'm familiar with. Including grabbing hands was a peculiar choice since he has no other accessories to hold, similarly odd is that he only has a left "power" gesture hand but no corresponding right hand. All in all Ultron is already a strong contender for my favorite Legends figure of the year. ![]() ![]() The initial item I was checking Pulse for was to see if the Iron Monger pack was in stock, obviously it was. In hand I think the likeness to Jeff Bridges is solid, it's not spot-on but you can still recognize it as a grumpy bald version of the Dude. The pattern on his tie turned out really nice so there's that too. I can't lie that a different figure like a new Iron Man mk I would've been more appealing but I guess Hasbro didn't want to put too much new stuff into this pack. Speaking of new stuff we have Iron Monger as the real reason anybody's getting this set. He's an appropriately big figure, roughly Hulkbuster's size, as he should be. They did a good job giving him a rough texture emulating pounded metal, overall he looks quite nice despite being such a monochromatic design. As bulky, lumbering mech-suits go he's fairly well articulated. I really like the bullet casing discharge effect for the minigun arm but conversely don't care for how they made his shoulder-missile just a piece that clips on to the pistons. Overall I dig this set but unless you've really been hankering for an MCU Iron Monger like I have you can probably play the waiting game and get this down the road when it's on a sale. I don't think the pack's necessarily overpriced at full retail (especially given that Iron Monger is completely new and has little reuse potential) but those uninterested in Obadiah will likely find paying $70+ just to get Iron Monger a sour deal.

Black suit Spidey is cool but they screwed up the white on the hands. Should be more of a white square rather than a line/dash.

Fedex is weird. My sentinel is supposedly going to deliver today, with signature required (I've gotten several alert texts indicating so), and it was in Nashville where I am last night. But now it's in a smaller suburb that is further away out for delivery, which I find weird but maybe there's nothing to it.
Fingers crossed it actually does arrive today. At least it's not got no activity on it, that's for sure. |

Mine did arrive with no problems though I did have to sign for it, as I was informed, so that wasn't really an issue. Unfortunately he's already back in the box for storage until there's display room, but I had to get him out to show scale to a friend. I did keep Bastion and the prime sentinel out of box though. Picture for validity of receipt. ha edit: also reading that Havok is supposedly rumored for the next X-Men wave (via fwoosh and marvelous news) - assumption is classic Havok but there's nothing that points to that other than a modern-ish and X-Factor look has already been made, that seems to be a logical conclusion I'd have to say. Also read a comment that someone mentioned that Banshee is confirmed not in this wave. Though that's now like 6 degrees of separation from source, but the source seems pretty accurate on things most times. If thats the case I must roll my eyes - how long....how long are they going to drag him not being released? Granted we do have at least one figure of him, but it's a shit figure and was nearly 15 years ago (much like the Deathstrike situation, but she was actually more hideous). A redo needs to be done, hopefully for the second X-Men wave. I assume either a Deadpool or Wolverine with this wave but no clue which might be. Hoping we get House of X Storm, since they want to cover that era while it's still hot and she's both high profile and a different enough look that she'd make sense. Longshot maybe? And a few villains....I guess we'll find out when we find out. Last edited by Captain Nash; 09-11-2021 at 05:42 PM.. |

The rumored Classic Havok is cool for people trying to complete the older teams but X-factor Havok is the only one I have ever really wanted. So far the rumored characters are quite the interesting group. I hope we get at least one more female (HoX Storm would be great, Outback Psylocke would be my first pick, Destiny or Spiral would also be amazing) and at least 2 villians (Exodus, Avalanche, or Toad would be coolest to me). Any guesses on what Wolverine they could cram into this wave? Team X? Diamond Patch? Fang costume Wolvie would be cool if he came with interchangeable Fang parts so we could have our first Super Guardian to go with Gladiator. |

For Wolverines I'd still like the Jim Lee Blue and Yellow Strike Force X-men training outfit, actually for all of the team that was in that lineup though I suppose the current Forge is pretty close enough to count.
There's also a look from Morrison's New X-Men, and as you mentioned the Fang costume, redos of Ultimate Wolverine and Astonishing Wolverine. Also the noseless Wolverine right before Onslaught (as much as many of us wish that didn't exist). And there's tons more those are just the more instant ones I can think of. Side question to anyone - I don't think he has, but has Wolverine ever worn a mostly red-based outfit? Thinking like X-Force black but with red instead. It would be different for sure. |
